messy pride kin memory dump
- so i obviously never traveled much due to the restrictions on where i could move and the fact i was confined to a container that looked like a child, so i’d often just stretch myself out in the tunnels and talk to sloth for hours on end while he dug
- we weren’t really ... siblings ? some of us had a sibling relationship, like myself and lust, but all of our relationships varied between us. i was closest to wrath, on accounts of us spending so much time together.
- continuing from above, though, i absolutely menaced him. he was the youngest and i was the oldest and we both knew it, yet we still had to play house, and i had sooo much fun with it, because there was nothing he could do about it. still, we’d laugh over things like my poem about him being a great hero and humanitarian
- i was angry at greed for leaving but also kind of jealous that he did. as proud as i was, i didnt like being father’s obedient lapdog, and i was upset whenever any of the others got to go far away, do new things
- i liked my container a lot. sure, looking like a little kid was a hassle sometimes, but i still liked it. i was also definitely vain about my appearance, both the container’s and my true form’s, and more than once would just settle down somewhere and fuss over myself. the others would sometimes tease me for this. i was the prettiest of the seven of us and would fight to defend that honor
- lust was the second prettiest , followed by gluttony. i don’t know why i was so adamant about gluttony being prettier than envy and greed but i was. we probably had some dumb argument and i literally never let it go
- i think i got separated from the others for a long time. all i rlly remember after that is grabbing them all and clinging to them like my life depended on it
- i remembered who i was more and more as i grew up as selim bradley (the second time), but even after i got my memories and powers back i went by selim instead of pride.
