Kagerou, may I ask who is the love of your life?

“ Winter time is exceptionally beauitful. The complete opposite of the warm seething summer. In parts of Japan, cities and forests get coated with stark white snow. The sky a moody gray. Snow is one of the things I recently discovered after my revival. It’s truly a sight to see. I’m glad my twin was able to elaborate with on weather here on earth. “Thank you, I’ll...try. May you have a good evening yourself.” he gazed back down to his kunai in hand, sharpening its blade. He’s been doing somewhat better after having a long talk with Shadowmaru. Kagerou for once felt at ease. 

woahh! Kagerou you’re ALIVE?! It’s a miracle !

“I’ve been online for a good while. This isn’t news to me.” the ninja mech softly stated. 

Kagerou you’re super handsome bot you know that? Ok bye 👋🏼

“ Well...thank you for that, human. ” he furrowed his optic ridge. The ninjabot was never called ‘handsome’ before. Does he somehow meet the beauty standards of these humans? It felt odd receiving such a nice comment.

"Kageru..." shadowmaru spoke, voice longing to reach for his twin, "is something troubling you?? I've seen you stare." Worried, concerned written over his features as he slowly approached them. "You can talk to me, you know?"

It’s been a good while since he’s been reborn anew. It had taken a while to regain what Kagerou had lost in his previous life. As for the shadow twin, he still had some minor memories to unlock. However, it if wasn’t for the help of Shadowmaru, it would not be possible.

“ I’m sorry...for making you worry, Shadowmaru. ” he started. “ I seem to just...gaze into the remnants of my past life. It’s haunting me. But I am also learning more about myself. I remember more of who I used to be. ” he looked up from his saddened gaze, and turned to the ninja mech, giving them a sincere look. 

“ I wish to know more about my good memories with you. ” he quietly stated. He could use something more, rather than recalling the times he confronted pain.

“ I am not feeling at my best today. I still have those....nightmares of falling, being pulled deeper into the ocean with that submarine, in that...fake body; being compressed not only physically, but of my existence.” he gazed ahead of him, catching sight of his twin. “ At least I have Shadowmaru to ease my grim thoughts. But, there’s a beauty to all of this. I’ve lived and died, now I am reborn. That’s something not most mortal beings can do in a lifetime, and not return feeling the same. ”

Here they are…human Kagerou and Shadowmaru!! The ninja twins! *heart eyes*
