Hook as a husband
He probably proposed within a year of knowing you.
He knows himself, knows his temperament, so he makes a conscious effort to never raise his voice. You could scream at him in an argument and he won't scream back. He doesn't want you to ever be afraid of him.
His love language mostly floats around quality time, but also he's no stranger to the words of affirmation area... And he does like physical touch.
I mean, like, to be fair... His past with being so lonely for so long and feeling unworthy of love that whole time means any sort of show of affection towards him just makes him light up.
He practically never takes his wedding ring off, and on the rare occasion he does it's not for long.
He would absolutely stab a dude for looking at you the wrong way.
He does the fuckin' dishes, and he doesn't complain about it.
He tries his best when it comes to DIY home repairs, but theres only so much he can do one handed.
Regular date nights are very important to him.
He really hams it up when he's sick. 'man flu'. Truth is, he just really likes it when you take care of him, but he feels too awkward to ask for it any other time.
He's a little (a lot) insecure, he is scared that you might leave him. The thing is he also doesn't want to come over as needy, clingy, or jealous, so when he's feeling particularly insecure he can be distant.
If you choose not to sail with him, he does miss the freedom of the oceans, but home is where his heart is. As long as you're by his side, he would never regret giving up life at sea.
If you do sail with him... Well damn, you may as well be a queen because he does not want you to lift a finger.
He has the means of getting your portrait? You can bet he's got plans for some sort of locket.
There's not much about your mannerisms that he hasn't learned. He'll know in like a second if you have a headache, he could probably predict when you'll sneeze.
Honestly? His intensity could be a little overwhelming. He just wants to be perfect for you. Again, it's his whole insecurity and being afraid of being left and all that again. He doesn't even realise when he's getting like that.
It's tough, but he is so worth it.
He would try to make a good impression on your friends, and family. They think he's okay, but they also sometimes think you could do better.
Every day he is with you, he tells you how much he loves you.
There is like zero chance of you ever feeling unloved or unappreciated when you're with him.

Inspired by @silkoodles Disney High AU, where James Hook was in a serious relationship with Zarina Dustkeeper but had left her before she could tell him she was pregnant. Years later, they met up and she confessed that their son had been given up to the Neverland Orphanage and had been adopted by one of the former sisters, Tinker-Bell, and named Peter.
Now James has constant dreams of what could have been, but despite the momentary sadness he always has his adopted son Jake to remind him that his life is just as perfect as it was now.

Okay, I'm crying
I know everyone is worried about the Hawkmoth/Gabriel x Chat Noir/Adrien reveal.
But the Mayura/Natalie x Chat Noir/Adrien reveal is going to hurt Adrien the most (in my opinion)
His relationship with his father is already frayed. It’s not strong and he rarely sees him. If anything I picture Adrien being more mad than hurt.
But Natalie? That’s going to break him. Anytime he goes somewhere, it’s with Natalie, (gorilla is there too but sometimes he just stays in the car or just drops them off) She’s the motherly figure in his life. He goes to her for permission, asks her questions, goes to her for help, advice, etc. hell even for photoshoots, whos there with him? Natalie.
Imagine his face if/when he takes her miraculous and sees her there. His father? Sorta rational and predictable. But Natalie...I don’t think he’s going to see that one coming.
Now, as much as the reveal is going to hurt Adrien, it’s going to hurt Natalie too.
She’s literally being Mayura to help bring Adriens mom back. She’s doing all this shit, getting sick, for Adrien to be happy and have his mom. Even though she’s crushing on Gabriel. She’s also admitted to caring a lot for Adrien.
So imagine her face if/when she finds out that the superhero she’s been tormenting and sending danger to...is the kid who she looks after day in and day out. And now we know, all night if she needs to?
It’s going to hurt, on both ends. I’m curious to see how the creators handle this...Because it’s deep stuff.
