Are we really surprised at beemoov for being bad writers at this point??????? I thought we'd already got over the fact that their story telling abilities suck.
Let's change the subject a little here: I think Guy, Kentin's dad, is almost as bad as Francis, Nathaniel's dad. While he didn't touch his son, as far as we know, he is emotionally unavailable, he forced a toxic ideal of masculinity on his son possibly giving him really serious psychological trauma, when he found out that his son was being bullied his response was to indirectly blame his son and send him to the military to "man up", which incidentally was the worst period of his teenage years(1)
because he kept being bullied and to top it off he is emotionally abusive, always putting his son down and threatening him to take away his dog after he misbehaves? I donโt mean to justify Kentinโs actions in his arc but I feel like most people blame him without looking at the big picture and Beemoov is partially at fault here for not addressing the issue properly. Instead of doing a weird mix-arc with no purpose they couldโve talked about emotional abuse instead, even comparing it to (2)
Nathanielโs situation to show that emotional abuse can be just as damaging to a person. They couldโve shown him being lost and anxious at the comeback of his old traumatizing military experience and they couldโve easily made him fall into self-destructive behavior like they did with Nathaniel, but getting a little deeper into it without making it look like โwhoops Kentin is just being an asshole to everyone for no reason and now he picks fights and harasses women!โ If only Beemoov cared about(3)
making good final arcs for Armin and Kentin, they couldโve done something way better with what we know about them and the fact that the fandom blindly hates on Kentin because his issues surfaced but werenโt solved nor explained irks me. Heโs in the same emotional condition as UL Nathaniel but unlike him, Beemoov has no interest in recognizing emotional abuse and getting deeper into it. (4 - Final)

I really don't care for Rosa and her child. I don't like children on real life and the forcing of these overly cutesy scenes is just cringeworthy for me. Beemoov just can't help themselves and have to push Rosa and her child EVERYWHERE. I hate this event because of the forced family thing, not everyone wants children Beemoov. Not gonna play this event and Love life in general. Btw even if my Candy is forced to have kids it should be with her true love: Lysander.

I'm really sad.
I've met wonderful people through this side blog, which was created entirely because of My Candy Love, a game I played throughout almost my entire teenage. I stopped playing at some point during Lys' arc, and resumed playing after University Life was released. For the first time, I fell for a Ll, both Rayan and Priyaโyeah, I'm one of those who weren't really hurt after the three high-school LIs were removedโbut now I feel no interest towards the game anymore.
The plot feels plain, Beemoov is a rat and is not ashamed of us seeing it anymore, the story writers and awfully biased towards Nathaniel and Rosalya, and the amount of stupid, pointless dialogues to drain on our money is insane. I feel incredibly bad for Chinomiko.
That's all I wanted to say. They've ruined a game. I won't give them any more of my money. That's how the market works. You give me shit to eat, I shit on your face. Bitch.
