🌿Life of a small business owner who is looking for some mental peace on weekends❤️
Weekdays are a whirlwind of activity. Wearing multiple hats like a content creator, packing your parcels, an accountant, a designer, a blogger, and a client manager – can be overwhelming.
🌿But on weekends I am just myself. I find solace in nature, DIY Selfcare rituals, and rejuvenating my tired body and soul.
✍️Here are some of the self-care rituals I cherish on weekends:
🌿Shiro Abhyanga – A blissful head massage with the blend of pure botanical oils.
🌿Abhyanga – Rejuvenating body massage with my go-to sesame oil.
🌿Lepana – Pampering body ubtan crafted from raw herbs, lentils, clays, and hydrosols.
🌿Mukha Lepana – Simple yet effective DIY face mask with just a couple of ingredients.
🌿Keshya Lepa-Herbal hair masking for deep nourishment.
🌿Losing myself in a good book.
🌿Immersing in shabads, chants, or classic Hindi music.
🌿Connecting with my inner self through meditation.
We all have unique lifestyles and preferences, but I believe taking time for oneself is important for body and soul rejuvenation. ❤️

How to Identify Pure Rose Water?
How to Recognize Authentic Rose Water?
1. Check the ingredients
Always read the ingredient list on the label before you buy Rose Water or Rose hydrosol. Fake rose water will have several ingredients like synthetic colour, fragrance, rose oil/essence, emulsifiers or preservatives. Pure rose water will have only one ingredient- steam-distilled rose water. The label should also indicate what variety of rose was used to prepare the rose water.
2. Evaluate its fragrance and colour
Another way to check the purity of rose water is through its colour and aroma. Pure rose water is always colourless like water and will have a delicate floral fragrance. So if the product has an overpowering or synthetic scent and is pink in colour, leave it out as it likely contains artificial dyes and fragrances that won’t offer you any therapeutic benefits.
3. But the right packaging
Exposure to light can degrade the quality of rose water and diminish its fragrance and potency over time. So pure rose water is always packaged in dark glass bottles to preserve its freshness.
4. Make sure it doesn’t foam
Some sellers mix rose essential oil with water with the help of solubilizers to create natural rose water. While it looks and smells similar to pure rose water, it will not offer the same therapeutic benefits that true hydrosol does.
So to check if the product indeed contains rose hydrosol, shake the bottle vigorously. If you notice a soap-like foam, it’s a clear sign that the product contains solubilizers.
5.  Consider the cost
While higher prices don’t always guarantee better quality, it’s best to be cautious of excessively cheap rose water. It takes almost 20 kilos of rose petals to create 10 litres of rose water. Therefore, unusually low prices may indicate that the product has been diluted or compromised in quality.

Rosemary Leaves for Hair - Vriksha Veda
Using rosemary leaves for hair care is a popular natural remedy believed to promote hair health. Here's how you can use rosemary leaves for your hair:
Rosemary Oil: You can infuse rosemary leaves in carrier oils like olive oil or coconut oil to create rosemary-infused oil. Massage this oil into your scalp and hair, leave it on for a few hours or overnight, and then wash it out with shampoo. Rosemary oil is believed to stimulate hair follicles, promote hair growth, and improve scalp health.
Rosemary Rinse: Boil fresh or dried rosemary leaves in water to make a rosemary rinse. Let it cool, strain out the leaves, and use the rosemary-infused water as a final rinse after shampooing your hair. This can help strengthen hair strands, add shine, and soothe the scalp.
Rosemary Tea: Drinking rosemary tea may also promote hair health from within. Rosemary is rich in antioxidants and nutrients that support overall health, which can indirectly benefit your hair.
DIY Hair Masks: You can create DIY hair masks by combining rosemary leaves with other natural ingredients like yogurt, honey, or avocado. These masks can nourish the hair, improve its texture, and add moisture.
Commercial Products: Many hair care products, such as shampoos, conditioners, and hair treatments, contain rosemary extract or oil as an ingredient. Look for products that specifically mention rosemary for its hair-strengthening and revitalizing properties.
Before using rosemary leaves or any natural remedy for your hair, it's essential to perform a patch test to check for any allergic reactions. While rosemary is generally considered safe, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional or a trichologist if you have any concerns or underlying scalp conditions.
