I would NEVER consent to the majority of work I've done FOR FREE. I would never fucking consent to letting anyone talk to me the way the majority of customers and coworkers have FOR FREE. I do regularly consent to fuck for free. I have fun doing it. I've had fun having sex as a hobby for a decade and a half at this point. I've been doing different forms of sex WORK since 2009. I've had sex with people I wasn't attracted to for FREE for fun! I've had sex with people I found extremely attractive for cash! But because I think differently from them, they will call me all sorts of mentally ill to justify their hatred for women acting out.
And the audacity of them to claim I don't understand CLASS ISSUES BECAUSE OF THIS when I literally am an intersex autistic woman who cannot get hired anywhere much less use the bathroom in public without worrying about clowns like them specifically assaulting me for being intersex is incredible
I haven't been able to make real money in a long time because of disabilities combined with lack of ability to advertise without every single account taken down. We only haven't lost our 300sq ft studio apartment we've been trapped in for a year and a half becayse I'm good at begging. I bought these pants last year before we lost food assistance:

It doesn't matter that MONEY AS A BARRIER TO FOOD AND HOUSING is the exploitation, not sex workers who don't hate sex. Because even if all of sex VANISHED OVERNIGHT we would still have CAPITALISM. Slave labor still exists in the United States and is fully legal as a punishment and doesnt rely one bit on sex. Fucking stupid assholes

what's so striking to me about younger queer generations rn isn't the lack of knowledge about queer history, but the complete unwillingness to engage with it, when confronted with an identity or history they haven't heard of before they react with disgust rather than curiosity. (for example) instead of asking where the leather pride flag came from and what the leather community is and represents they immediately question the need for something like that to exist, not even willing to listen and learn from both elders and peers. this is also more broadly a problem in leftist spaces in general, being reactionary is somehow the default now, and anything that's different or unknown must be an attack and bad. really hoping y'all manage to grow out of this deeply conservative way of interacting with the world.

now my parents think climate change is a myth.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that racism was a plague, that we had to love and accept everyone, that we should never judge before walking a mile in their shoes.
then they told me that protesting for my Black siblings was wrong.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that we needed to give to the poor. working at soup kitchens. making quilts. collecting food and money and supplies. building houses. because it was the christian and just plain right thing to do.
now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that any rich man, especially an immoral one, should never run our country.

I haven't figured out how to put it to words yet but it's incredibly concerning to me that we've now moved to "OP reblogs from Jews [that I'm labeling as Zionist for no other reason than because they acknowledge the history of the region and want a combined solution for everyone to live together in the place they call home]" as weaponized block lists. Punishment for association with Jews is a major facet of antisemitism that prevents anyone except Jews from reaching out in support of an oppressed community.
Then when you add on that it genuinely does not seem to matter if the Jews in question are "Good Jews" or "Bad Jews" because I will reblog posts that offer ways to help Palestine and that condemn the very severe oppression Palestinians are facing *from Jews* and still people harass you for any association whatsoever. I still remember that ask that tried to say that James Baldwin- a black man who repeatedly condemned the ongoing war and genocide in Palestine- was a Zionist simply because he refused to blame every single Jew he saw and instead rightly blamed the governments and militaries who created this problem and continue to carry out the extermination order.
You know, back in the day, gentiles were jailed for associating too much with Jews because of the assumption that no Jew was trustworthy. And I gotta say, not seeing that big of a difference here.

Most black girls experience this hatred at schools. And classmates are not the only problem, there is no support from teachers, too. That’s why they get so affected by their school experiences. Black kids deserve to be treated just like everybody else, they want to study, they want to learn something ,too. However due to prejudice they are 5 times more likely to be suspended than their white peers and it can ruin their lives forever. National Women’s Law Center created this video to change the situation. Join the movement to help black girls feel normal and get the same opportunities everybody else has.
