Hi! I'm looking for a male voice, mid range to low. The character this is for is about 21 to 23 years old. He's a wild character, a rockstar, with a sensitive side and a sadistic side. He used to have a British accent, but since living somewhere else he kind of lost it. I'm so nervous about asking, but its so hard to find a voice for him, you're so good at what you do. Please help. Thank you. 😊

I’m going to assume the British accent isn’t much of a factor for you if he has lost it along the way (and usually usually it’s difficult to tell anyone has one when they’re singing, save for certain vowel sounds, etc,) but I know a couple of voices on this list are going to sound extremely American... I just couldn’t resist the apt personality behind them! I’d also like to say straight out of the gate, I just know this is one of those Asks that I’ll add to eventually, because I can picture several additional voices (who are probably more fitting than those on the list!) but I can’t remember their names for the life of me ;n; So, I might be PMing you someday xD
Speaking voice:
Theo James’ accent is low, isn’t very pronounced, generally fits the age range, and so was the first to come to mind. But perhaps not the personality of your boy except for his more sensitive side?
Singing Voices:
Minute markers are for when the singing begins.
Night Riots - “Nothing Personal” 0:09 Kind of an interesting music video; feels a bit dramatic and self-satisfying, like your boy can be?
Barns Courtney - “Champion” 0:09
The Unlikely Candidates - “Novocaine” 0:12
MISSIO - “Rad Drugz” 0:20
Young & Divine - “All Night Long” 0:11 His pitch is higher than you’re looking for, but I like to give options that shake things up a bit. Sometimes it helps break you out of a rut in your search!
AJR - “Weak” Again, pitch is not on-point, but a good ‘rockstar life’ vibe.
Max Frost - “A$$hole (No Apologies)” 0:11
And if none of those gents suit your fancy, mayhaps the “Singing Voices by Genre” section can provide some inspiration, what little there is to gain from it? I hope this was useful! ^^;

I need a DEEP voice for one of my OCs; his spirit animal is a black bear and that's why I want him to have a deep voice, but his voice also needs to be pleasant, not scary because he's a really chill guy and a grandfather of six. Hello & good day, VF! I was wondering if you could help me find a voice for a child OC. This child is around 6 or 7 and is somewhat evil. I'm imagining her with a quite hoarse, low voice that is slightly monotonous to do her state of mind, though, she often has moments where she has the "innocent child voice," which she usually has when she's doing something horrible, but fun (for her.) She also doesn't get much sleep so she should sound tired as well. Sorry this is such a long ask. Thanks!

Would a spot of Mckenna Grace in Bad Seed do for you? She's a bit older than your request, but her character and line-delivery really fit the bill, soooo! I'm including her.
But let's not forget Patty McCormack, the original Bad Seed (1956) She's closer to the younger age you were looking for, but a younger age usually means a higher voice. Unfortunately I'm on mobile (urgh!) so I couldn't get a clipped YT link, but if you skip on down to about 1:05 you'll hear her go from mean to sweet!

clxirefoley, I have been DYING to get to this post!! So sorry for such a long wait. This has been a challenging one to nail down (and I’m still not positive I’ve done that. ^^; ) I like that he is lion-based; I have roughly Too Many characters and nearly all of their traits and mannerisms are based off of animals. xD Because you didn’t specify an accent, I tossed in a couple of wild cards. ^_^ Good luck, and please let me know if any of these are helpful!
