absolutely criminal how falling into bad habits is the easiest thing in the world while developing positive habits feels like fighting a literal war

I feel I should specify when I talk about the vast majority of Israelis supporting this genocide it's not to call for violence of them or even to demonise them. It's to call attention to Israel having a genocidal education system which dehumanises Palestinians from the moment Israelis start school. Ilan Pappé did a study in 1994 of the Israeli education system and raised the alarm that it would raise a generation who are even worse than those who first colonised Palestine in 1948. We're seeing the truth of that now.
I raise this point because we're seeing this attempt by politicians and the media to claim that it's just Netanyahu who is to blame for this genocide and not a systematic problem that requires boycotting, divestments and sanctions to push them to correct. This lie is being pushed because they do not want to change the status quo which allows for Israel to steal Palestinian land and homes and keep Palestinians under military occupation.

If a worker who isn't the owner says ANYTHING similar to "I'm not really supposed to do this but-" and then does something that helps you, under no circumstances inform the business, including through reviews. You tell them that the worker was polite, professional, the very model of customer service and why you like to go there. You do not breathe a word of the rulebreaking.

So, thanks to President Biden’s Infrastructure Bill, remote locations on the Navajo Nation Reservation will be receiving electricity for the first time — ever.
Also, water treatment devices are being developed to help the tribe access clean running water. After decades without.

The Go Touch Grass
2 parts green tea liqueur
2 parts gin
splash simple syrup
splash lemon juice
cucumbers, to muddle and garnish
This drink is bad. It tastes like shoving your face into a clump of sugarcane and rimming it. Its flavor is mellow, but in an insulting and wishy-washy way. It could not decide whether or not being more botanical would be unappealing and therefore wears a thick, sludgy mask of sweet undertones that suffer from delusions of grandeur. This drink does not know what it wants from you. Its sole saving grace is how tipsy it got me, but I'm a notorious lightweight, so I can barely even count on that as anything worth declaring. A solid 4 out of 10. I finished the glass but only out of feelings of resentful obligation and sneering spite. Do not drink this.

Technophobes need to apologise for "just put it in plain English you stupid machine!" because, well for one the decline in accurate error messages in favour of simplicity has contributed to the rise of tech illiteracy, but also because now whenever an "app" has a net connection error it will pop up a box saying something like "oo ooopsie! Your super duper feed went poo poo. We'll try again soon!" which having said to me by a corporation is about 8 million times worse than having to hear the word "network".
