—— ⚜ IT WAS AN ANTIQUE SHOP ON MAIN STREET. There was an apartment upstairs, warded with enough magic to keep out any unwanted guests. So you could get close, but not close enough. It was the perfect hideout for Aurora de Martel. She could pretend to be a normal woman, serve those looking to buy a dusty, old watch or broken mirror. And she could tease her enemies, having conversations from a stairwell they couldn’t touch. Aurora was enthralled by the idea. She stood behind the counter, eyeing an intricate dagger that she had recently added to her collection. She had just lifted the dagger into her hands when the front door opened and someone stepped inside. Aurora paused, smiling wide in their direction. “Oh, hello, lovely.”
As much as it surprised most people, Isaac did enjoy a good antique. So coming into the shop was not unusual for him. As he stepped into the shop, he noticed the woman holding the detailed dagger. “Beautiful artwork on a weapon. Don’t see those lying around these days.”

Find out what you can and get back to me, I need to know what’s going on so I can keep the children safe.” Hanging up with a sigh, Caroline moved to another box as she began to unpack her office, feeling someone behind her. “I’m not quite settled in yet, but what can I do for you?”
“Sorry, I didn’t realize.” Isaac smiled at the headmistress. “I was wondering when I would be able to start up my counseling appointments again with your students.”

“Not as much now, more like the counselor of those who come through the rift. Honestly monsters and humans like us generally stay quite friendly around here. Bad eggs here and there though.” Isaac shrugged his shoulders. “No problem, my place is just a two minute walk from here. Well that much blood, yeah you’d be noticed. I’m Isaac Doremi by the way.”

Had he taken the car, he could’ve made it back to the hotel without being spotted. But the hunter thought he could use the exercise and decided to travel on foot. Idiot. He raised his hands in defense, giving an awkward chuckle before he spoke. “Any chance you’d believe I was hunting deer?”
“Not a chance when I know myself the downsides of being caught after hunting.” Isaac pursed his lips at the older male. “You can wash up at my place before heading to wherever you’re going, hunters are always welcome.”

“Yep, this works perfectly” Landon said out loud to himself as he tried to lift a huge tree trunk off the ground. He got the idea that he was going to build something, but he was not sure what yet. When he heard footsteps nearby he let out a small chuckle “I can do this, no need to start worrying” He said, and within a few seconds later he lost his grip of it and it almost fell on his feet, but his reflexes kicked in and he jumped to the side “Still going perfectly” He mumbled “Just one more time and I can do it” He tried to lift up the tree trunk again, but failed and it fell to the ground.
“Well if you want to take out your back at your age...” Isaac leaned against a tree as he stared at the younger man. “Dude, unless you have supernatural strength, you’re not going to lift it.”

“Mikaelson? You mean Hope? Caroline never pushed her, and I never had the pleasure of counseling your daughter.” Isaac raised his eyebrows. He didn’t know her on a personal level, but he did know of her from his visits to new students in the school. Chuckling at the slight diss, the young male couldn’t help but feel amused. “Well aren’t you a ball of sunshine? It would be better if you didn’t make your assumptions of people. I’m just trying to help.”

It’s Meaghan, again.
Same disclaimer as in my other intro posts, all of my characters are OC (I have four because I have no self control), but I will have them incorporated into the stories.
what are they doing in mystic falls? what is your character been up to in the last few years? what is their job or what are they going to be doing?
Isaac has opened up a counseling office in Mystic Falls for hunters/humans/monsters who have come through the rift. He wants them to relax and to try to settle into a new world. Despite his hesitation for the supernatural, Isaac tries to accept them, ones who come through the rift or not.
He still is a hunter, but not as often as he used to. Bad memories for him do surface when he does a hunting job.
He’s been in Mystic Falls for about three years.
what happened in the years between the end of canon? have they been dead? how was peace compared to being alive again?
So Isaac came into the rift at the same time his hunter friends did. He was also running away from a bad relationship that fell through.... his girlfriend got turned into a vampire and then tried to kill him by draining him. Possible connection if anyone is interested.
Isaac did die, however he was only dead for a week before coming out from the peace. He honestly found the peace boring for the short amount of time he was in as he missed his family and life. He felt like he hadn’t gone through his life at the fullest potential. He was killed by a large nest of ghouls that he was hunting, and he decided to not get backup.
how you are going to play the character? how did being dead or the years effect them?
So once again, Isaac is an OC. He’s a calming influence and does often seem like the ‘old man telling old war stories by the fireplace’, but he listens a lot. He’s vague when talking about himself however as he doesn’t want to bring up the past.
how did they find the rift? when did they go through the rift? do they want to go home?
Isaac and his hunter group of friends had known about for a while before deciding to go through the rift three years ago. Sometimes Isaac misses his old home, with memories about his girlfriend. That still haunts him so he is on the fence about returning home or not.
