After you collected the last lily pad ticket during the Days of Bloom event, immediately go home and let another lightning hit back home. You will end up having this glitch.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this? If by use wind paths you mean using the idle wax option of the wind tunnel, then you need to consider that the main goal of my method is to get a lot of candles without too much effort in a short amount of time. Using the idle wax wind tunnel is super easy since all you have to do is let the wind carry you and occasionally touch your screen to wake your sky kid up, but it's both limited in the amount you can get and much much slower than most other methods

If you meant using the Wind Paths to get around the kingdom, it depends tbh. It's usually faster to just go home and then fly to either Sanctuary or Grandma's than to use the Wind Paths to get to either place, but I will admit it's much faster to use the paths than going to Isle to get to the trials

Geyser -> Brook Candle Cake and Light Farm -> Grandma -> Sunset Turtle

Then just do:

Whatever realm has the treasure candles for the day

Basic Vault (focus on the candle cakes)

Village of Dreams and Hermit Valley cakes

And then maybe the bouquets from Performance, the cake in Wind Paths, and then the cake in Starlight Desert (since the path to it is right next to the one in Wind Paths)

Super fast and doesn't take too much effort aside from getting to the timed events on time and dealing with Vault

#i do still use the wind paths. just not as often #usually for topping off a candle if i'm done with a regular run

I did not include trials because while the candle cakes at the end of each one are indeed great, quite frankly, doing all 4 trials for just 12 total candle cakes (and the piddly amounts of small candles in water and earth) takes far more effort for not very much reward compared to the method I described up above (which gets you 15 candle cakes minimum + a large plant + all the wax from geyser, grandma, the sanctuary turtle, and the sanctuary clams + whatever amount of wax you get from burning orbs at the brook campfire + whatever small plants n candles you pick up along the way). Just one trip to Grandma gets you in 10 minutes the same amount of wax as the candle cakes from all 4 trials, which takes a lot longer than 10 minutes

#also fire trial SUCKS #it's frustrating. so damn frustrating. especially on your own #i'd honestly say it's worse than dealing with vault's 4 player doors because at least those can be glitched through #you can't glitch through fire trial without an accomplice and my method is for people doing solo candle runs #and that's not even including the travel TO cave of prophecy. gotta fly all the way across isle AND deal with the long path in the cave #water and earth are. okay.#water's cakes are too spread out so that makes it take longer and earth can be frustrating with that last long set of blocks #wind is bearable but some of those landings are awful and getting up to the cakes takes longer than it really should

#sky children of the light #also make sure to grab the cakes n big plant in sanctuary #i cannot stress enough how thankful i am for those shared memories and spaces in vault #that get you through the doors to get the candle cakes #because seeing a chibi clip through when there are 3 other people in the area #or seeing a group of people leave even when they would complete the amount needed for the door #has filled me with more rage than i can handle #also shout out to the people who put light burning shared spaces around the light farms #makes it so much easier #in general I recommend focusing on big ticket items like candle cakes and big dark plants over just fully running the whole realm
