It’s past midnight, meaning it is officially the eve of the new year. Was your year good? Perhaps you succeeded in many things you wanted to do, and opportunities came your way.

Perhaps your year wasn’t so good, you had rough patches, experienced failure, loss.

Maybe it was in the middle, you had both good things and bad things?

Worry not, for you have made it to not only the end of the year, but to the end of this decade. Let’s rejoice in your victories, and the mistakes that lessons have been learned from- and here’s to you, for surviving and continuing to thrive.

I have created a Mii face to look more like me, though I do like the look of the animal crossing character, I may swap back

I have also decorated my home for the holidays, and last but not least, I planted a cherry tree, a type of tree that was not yet in the town I reside in, and finally it has grown to full maturity. Small things like this make me happy.
