Far away an island
Where the sea is silent
Somebody's insolent
But nobody goes violent
And there ain't no rodent
Jump into sea still you can
Go there if you want
Swim as fast as you can
And don't you dare rant
You see the gleam
I see you beam
Are we in a dream
Floating in a stream
I just heard a scream
Somebody saw a snake
While munching on a snack
Somebody's mistake
Now silence is at stake
I can't bare this row
Just get me that oar
We just gotta row
Before the noise soar
Life ain't a ramble
Death ain't so humble
Pesty past still rankles
Blooming dream crumbles
Far away an island
Now nobody is silent
Somebody imprudent
Brought a creepy serpent

Oh Time! You failed..
Still Vivid it is
Or have I become more lucid?
Or is there something thing
more obstinate than you?
Something doggedly holding onto
the Yesteryears
Time, I thought you're gonna
redeem me
But you failed me instead
Here I'm again penning it down
But now I know
blaming you won't make me any
better..

Standing on the shore I often think
Had it waited What would have become of it?
It's not that I don't know
That it's not something the waves can bring back
But the sand still has foot prints
That even the relentless wind couldn't expunge
Some would say it's as futile as counting waves
And with them I agree - But all the same I indulge in that futility
As I don't have the luxury of countless sunsets
