It was an overcast day in Wessagusset, with very occasional sprinkles. Today we met Hollis and his family at Daddy’s Dairy. We had never been there before, and the ice cream was outstanding. We gave Hollis his birthday presents, and he seemed to enjoy them. Tonight was the fourth game for the Celtics and Pacers. The Celtics just won, and they move on to the NBA finals. It was a sunny and hot day in Wessagusset. The high temperature today was 84° at noon. It was actually warm, but with the breeze it was comfortable living on the cool ocean water which was 53° up from 49° last week. Considering that most people are comfortable swimming in water 70° or higher we will never reach that in Weymouth (famous last words). Today we are still working on setting up the great room, and today it was rerunning all the wiring for charging my phone, and hooking the lamp up so I can turn it off remotely. We are getting there, slowly but surely. Two more boats were added to moorings today. Be safe out there.

Family, and lots of friends came, and it was so special visiting with folks. Most of our wedding party came, and it was a spectacular reunion. My sister gave a wonderful toast that brought me to tears. The food was wonderful, and the cake was beautiful and delicious. A special thanks to our sons and their wonderful wives who worked so hard all day, and to everyone who made the day one we will never forget.
