I think the only way to improve Gortash’s design would be to give him piercing holes in his ears. He no longer wears earrings, but he used to before getting into politics, and the piercing is yet to close back up.

I do not have the skills to draw a comic, but Chosen Three meeting + advisors and Durge is spending a lot of the time just blatantly staring at Balthazar. Eventually he bites and asks the Bhaalist what they’re looking at.
Durge then proceeds to go scar by scar on Balthazar’s face and body, listing what weapon must have been used, the angle it was held at and the force applied, and also how long ago it must have occurred.
Balthazar, for a brief moment, seems amused. He gives credit where it’s due, stating that he is surprised “a mindless brute such as yourself does in fact have enough brain in there capable of more than following simple followers from Daddy.”
Gortash has to use all his strength to pull Durge back across the table and back to their seat after they tried to lunge for Balthazar.

On one hand I feel like Kaidos barely even glanced in Orin’s direction growing up, which definitely added to her resentment.
On the other, I do like the idea of he is mostly stoic, but perhaps every now and then there is a glimmer of him being an older brother that secretly cares for all members of the temple. A brother that ensures she has enough to eat, that bailed her out and carried her home the one time an assassination went horribly wrong while she was still learning.
And then perhaps he only stopped caring once he got involved with Gortash. For his entire time in the temple, Kaidos of course heard constantly he was special and is treated as such. But then he hears it from the outside too; Gortash now also is complimenting his strength and cunning.
A creature of such fine and blessed breeding as yourself has no time to even look at subordinates, let alone talk to them or Gods forbid help them.
True leaders never have time for such lowly creatures, my dear.
Kaidos agrees, completely whisked away by Gortash’s honeyed words and well timed smiles. He spends less and less time amongst his clergy, and whenever Orin does try to talk to the brother she once had, he simply glares at her and walks around her now, because how dare someone lesser than he expect to be able to freely talk with Bhaal’s own unholy son.
His Chosen.
