Tomino repurposed Rezin’s death at the hands of a pregnant Beltorchika for Victory Gundam. When Fuala Griffon is able to kill Marbet, she senses both Marbet and her child and hesitates. It’s much more effective in Beltorchika’s Children, but I think he adapts it well in Victory Gundam.
