Calling this one "Bright Song", because I went for brighter colors that remind me of a bard. :-) Recolor of Plazasims' Body 7, inspired by Strange Story Teller Sims' recolors! (Links to mesh and those fantastic recolors below!)

So, I recently posted my original version of this, but here's the expanded crew of the main campaign I'm running, Corona Stellarum (we came up with the name in December '19. Sorry bout it.).
We've somehow managed to introduce NPCs and incorporating them into the group instead of letting them go on their way, so...
Here's the latest version of our height comparison image:
Tumblr media
The newest additions to the group are (from left)
Caro, the kalashtar warlock, was found by the headmistress of a magic school She's got a Luna Lovegood-vibe, which is very fun to play. She's been watching the house the group owns and is now joining in some missions. She's a LOT of fun to play.
Tala is a genasi graviturgy wizard. She's soft-spoken and curious and has been a fun foil for some of the others characters.
Dorea, Richard, Moira, Clarisse, Jaakko, Freaya, then
Lucian, a half-elf bard, had been pursuing tales of the folk-hero Freaya, in search of assistance in breaking his own curse. (It's broken. We fixed him.)
Image edited in photoshop. Clarisse was created by her player (alaurelt in the gallery). Selected characters were edited in photoshop and procreate. I need to find the artists for the firbolg composite! I’m sorry if the head or body is yours and currently uncredited. I’ve got to find the images online again.

I've started adding some items to The Sims Resource! Eventually, I plan to have everything on here as well, but at the moment I do not. :-) Only 1 up there now, but more is coming (both there and here).

So, it's been a couple months since I've moved out to Great Aunt Cordelia's cottage. (Isn't it beautiful!?)
Tumblr media
Her husband Liam had fixed up the basement before he died, so I decided to see if I could rent out the room. I spent the first few days cleaning up and making sure the house was in decent enough shape to start looking for a roommate.
I got so lucky! Finn was one of the first people I interviewed and we get along so well. He's the most friendly person I've ever met. (Spoiler: he's practically besties with our elderly neighbor Ian.) Someone in town told him that the views were incredible up here, so he stopped by even though he couldn't afford the rent. We chatted for a while and came to a deal--he gets a lower rent and helps out around the house and with the animals. He's been working the morning shift, milking the cow(!), collecting eggs from the chickens, and cleaning the farmyard. (I have chickens. And a cow. AND A FARMYARD. So weird.)
Tumblr media
That's Finn! (Obviously.) Here he is with Clara the Cow.
Tumblr media
So, since he's pictured, I should also introduce you to Ace the Raccoon. Somehow, getting a kitten turned into getting a raccoon. Well, Finn got a raccoon. I now have the adorable Jetta, an actual cat who is keeping me company amidst all the crazy. (You can follow them both on simstagram.)
Tumblr media
I have managed to work on my writing though, mostly thanks to Finn doing a lot of the heavy lifting around here in between the odd jobs he's doing around town.
As crazy as it all has been, moving from San Myshuno to a farm, making a new normal while learning all sorts of new things...It's been amazing. As full as the days are, there are moments of stillness that have made it all worthwhile, whether it's an afternoon spent attempting to charm the bunnies or looking for shapes in the clouds. Finn's been really great about that: reminding me to stop running around or step away from the screen and look at the stars.
Here are a few more pics before I sign off on my first entry from the fresh air of Bramblewood.

I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on cottage living.
Ann hugs from Henford-on-Bagley!

Here's a height chart for the main campaign I'm running. The four on the right are the regular PCs and the two on the left are NPCs that have ended up traveling with the players much longer than I intended, honestly. But we love them.
I created this as a reference for me and the players. (I need to find the artists for the firbolg composite! I'm sorry if the head or body is yours and currently uncredited. I've got to find the images online again.) Right to left:
Meet Freaya, an elf fighter with a strong sense of justice and an even stronger personality.
The easygoing firbolg druid, Jaakko, is highly distrustful of attractive males (except for his friend Richard) but extremely fond of chatting with plants during their travels.
Clarisse is the wide-eyed tiefling monk who seeks knowledge above anything else. Unused to life outside the monastery, she's filled journals with highly detailed notations, even if she still finds the contents confusing.
Thanks to her paladin mother, the half-elf wizard Moira has grown up knowing a generation's worth of famous adventurers. Cheerfully wandering through life, she has found a purpose with her own group of colorful characters.
Richard lived for centuries as a burning skull but has been resurrected and given a divine mission by the king of the gods. In exchange for his memories of his former life as a great hero in the now ancient City of Champions, he is forging a new path fulfilling his mission with his new friends.
Dorea has known Moira her entire life; their parents adventured together. She grew up exploring dark, abandoned places with her parents, searching for ancient treasures.
Clarisse was created by her player, alaurelt in the gallery. Selected characters were edited in photoshop and procreate. Someday I'll get my firbolg game on point in Sims.

A crumbling wall in an ancient city, still fueled by the magic that keeps the figures moving as if they are still alive, shows ancient heroes and celebrates their heroic deeds.
From left:
Firbolg sorcerer Rrold Su, known as The Sacred Eye, levitates before a depiction of a famous battle.
The Hand of Fate, Elynaryth Silverfire, Guardian of the Northern Citadel, brandishes her magical weapons at the incoming hordes.
A golden warrior, name lost to the ravages of time, cuts down the enemies of his divine patron.
This campaign special feature was edited in procreate and photoshop.

I’ll start with my icon. :-)
Clockwise from left:
Appropriately first is my first D&D Character, Kit, who began life as a bard in a WWII Captain America oneshot before the characters were magically transported to another world.
The next two are both character that I rolled -- all the decisions were made with a roll of the dice. They’ve ended up being my main characters in 2 connected campaigns that I’m running (purely by accident, bc it’s much easier when you’re not also running a character).
Addie (Adrie Liadon), is a noble elf cleric from a mountain city who has run from home with her best friend and ended up saving people and meeting a ridiculous amount of NPCs (and secondary PCs) along the way!
Moira is a half-elf wizard, daughter of a famous paladin (primarily because it provides endless adventure hooks for a first-time DM who didn’t realize those games would turn into a campaign). Her friends continually remind her that she can use Counterspell bc her player DM never remembers when she’s fighting as the baddies.
Edited in photoshop and procreate.
