Some poem I wrote
I’m staring down
down into the abyss
And honey I still remember our last kiss
Your lips were soft but your heart was cold
And the memories I had of you were getting old
So I picked up the knife and sharpened it twice
Why it wouldn’t hurt to take another life
I’m laughing out loud but screaming on the inside
The darkness of my soul is the only place I can hide
And God’s looking down at me shaking his head
For fucks sake can’t you understand all of my dread
The words I want to say are imprisoned inside of my mouth
And my heads spinning faster
Oh please let me out
It’s not fair I just want a life of my own
But fuck it life isn’t fair I’ll just die alone
People tell me it’s going to be okay
Ha I’m laughing easy for you to say
I’ve tried dying 3 times and not once succeeded
My arms still have scars from all of the bleeding
So pack your empty bags and keep your mouth shut
But I can’t open mine it’s sewn together
By the idiot who designed me
Now isn’t that just clever
Somebody blow my brains against the wall
