any tips on taking for TS3?? I’ve been so scared to experiment with using a different technique than i usually use. anything would literally help, bc let’s be honest your pictures always look AMAZING!!

I really dunno how where to begin though, other than maybe making sure you use the Fly Cam, by pressing TAB on your keyboard. I also highly suggest using a camera mod to get better angles, and also just slow down the camera move speed so you can better adjust where it sits. I use this one, I believe.
The rest is just using general photography knowledge. Don’t stick to eye level, try an angle from up high, or from down below, full body, partial body, include shadows, zoom in on your subject ( whether a sim or an objects ), peek over the shoulder, and draw inspiration from all of your favorite visual media, like films.
Here’s a really cool site that explains a lot of the common angles used in film.
Lastly, just have fun, taking pictures in a new way is an experiment, but it shouldn’t have to be one that’s all about work.
Oh, and remember the rule of thirds!

FORMAL TEA SET by SSTS 4>3 CONVERSION
Found this gorgeous tea set by @strangestorytellersims which you can find here, and thought I’d convert it to Sims 3. Includes 19 items all together, and aren’t recolorable, but come with all 12 original swatches. Plenty I like to think, to suit any mood.
The highest poly count is a tiny bit over 16k, and the textures are all 2k. So use at your own discretion. Find them all in decor/sculptures for 0$.

hi! i hope i'm not a bother, but i have a question if it's not too troublesome: are all your sims 3 settings set to the highest possible option, or do you have some set to low/medium? i'm trying to find that happy balance between gameplay-friendly and pretty, and your game looks absolutely stunning.
No problem, and thank you. Honestly it depends on the setting, and whether I’m playing or taking pictures.
When I’m taking screenshots or recording for gifs I usually have all my settings on high yes, but if I’m just playing, I have all of them set to high except draw distance ( medium ), tree detail ( medium ), and lots loaded, usually between 1-3. Reflection quality I usually keep at mirrors and water. Super water is nice, but I don’t find it all that different tbh.

Edit More Than One Sim in CAS at a Time Using MC
Here you go @freckled-pixels Hopefully it helps explain better than just me. lol
Okay, so first go to map view. You know how to do that. ;)
Click on the green icon of your active household (although you can do this for any of the house icons that you see). Then select NRaas. Then Master Controller.
You’ll get this screen, which may look familiar. Select Sim near the bottom.
From the Sim menu you’ll click Advanced at the top (really looking familiar now, right?).
Which gets you here, and you’ll choose Edit in CAS, as you typically would.
This menu will show all the sims who live in your household. Click each one that you’d like to edit in CAS.
You’ll get that all too familiar loading screen before your first sims appears. Edit them to your heart’s content, Accept, and then that loading screen appears for a few seconds once more before it takes you to another sim you had previously selected.
That’s it! I hope I didn’t confuse you more.
