“are you seriously spending your money on such useless items like that?” BLADE asks, frowning at how heavy your bag has gotten during this date.
you laugh, “of course i am! and this isn’t useless, this is a limited-edition cat plush! don’t you think it looks like you?” shoving the plush in front of his face, he sighs.
blade takes the plush from your hands and stuffs it in the shopping bag, “so, need anything else? or are you finally running out of money?”
taking a look around, you spot a beautiful rose in the distance. immediately, you run towards it. blade looks at you with disappointment before catching up.
“seriously..? a flower this time? and look at the price tag, where do you even get the funds for this?”
“oh, blade! these gifts are all for you, y’know?” you smirk, planting a kiss on his cheek. “as long as i have you and money, i think i’ll be alright~”

DAN HENG has piles of books all snuggled on his arms, all of them which you picked out for him as a gift of loyalty. “this is enough.. i don’t think i needed this much!”
“not enough? ahaha, you asked me for a few books! and since i love you so much, why don’t i just buy you the whole store?” you shoot dan heng an innocent cheeky smile, causing him to look away.
“w-what are you..?” he asks. “asta’s long lost twin? don’t you even know how expensive this series is?”
you pick up the book in question and chuckle, “money means nothing to me, but you mean everything to me. so shut up and let me buy these for you.”

“waaah!”
LUKA falls to his knees as you keep piling gifts onto his arms. he winces in pain, but quickly picks them back up.
turning around and giggling, you give him a helping hand. “what’s wrong? the strong luka can’t handle a few heavy items?”
he looks at you in disbelief. how dare you doubt him! “hah, of course i can! this is nothing to me! but how on earth are you gonna afford all of this?”
“well.. i always place the highest bets on you during your tournaments. of course, my strongest boy always wins, gaining me some easy money!”
the look of disbelief shrouds away and turns into pure love, blushing, he gets back up and caresses your cheek. “hmph, then allow me to carry all of these gifts back home!”

BLADE never described himself as affectionate, yet alone comforting. but everything changed when he met you.
from the day you both made it official, he swore to himself to keep you happy. to keep you away from sadness and grief, the two emotions he has truly been familiar with his whole life.
that’s why when you came home from a stressful day, blade couldn’t bear to see you upset, walking in the room and crying.
his breath hitches. blade doesn’t know what to do, and it’s too late to ask a few of his co-workers how to sympathize with a person.
“my love?” he asks, “are you alright?”
you couldn’t find the confidence to respond to your beloved in words, all that came out of your throat were loud sobs. crying and crying, your legs felt weak, and you fell onto blade’s body.
he swiftly catches you with one hand, and pulls you in for a hug. he doesn’t know if this’ll help, but wants to make sure you feel loved. cupping your cheeks with the other hand, he tilts your head so you can see him. you catch a glimpse of a smile forming on his lips, something that was rare to see. using his thumb, he wipes away your tears in one move.
“don’t cry. it’s okay, i’m here. though i may not be of any help right now.. i will always have my ears open to listen to your troubles.”
a slight tint of red forms across his face, wondering if that was the right thing to say. what if you didn’t want him to listen? maybe he said something wrong?
digging your head into his neck, you whispered that it was okay. “i think i’m fine now.. thank you, blade. that helped a lot..” you chuckled. “i’m glad i got to see such a comforting side of you.”
the slight red blush on his face from earlier turned an even darker shade as he lifts up his bandaged hand to toy with your hair. blade sighs, “i.. whatever happens, i’ll always be on your side.”

ren looks up at you, his expression soft and peaceful. in all his years of being dead or alive, ren has never gave love a chance again. but after meeting with you, something about him changed. his wishes to die so badly has slowly subsided the more time he spent with you. and now, as ren’s currently stargazing with you, he finally realizes something. he deserves another chance. another chance of experiencing life, a life that he will forever spend with you.
ren rises his hand up to your cheek and caresses it. he smiles and says, “yes, it is beautiful.” before leaning in to kiss you.
✧ JING YUAN
the general is full of surprises. he lays you on his lap in his office, somehow clean and neat. you both gaze at the window before you, receiving the most beautiful view of the xianzhou. the stars here.. they paint the sky so beautifully. and with jing yuan right next to you, what more could you ask for? everything felt so at place, so perfect.
“the moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it?” you ask, playing with one of his loose hair strands.
jing yuan chuckles before kissing you passionately, as he does, the moonlight slowly shone on the both of you.
“not as beautiful as you, my dear.”

everyone on the astral express was asleep, leaving just you and dan heng awake. you told him that you had a hard time falling asleep, so he offered to stargaze with you until you felt tired. dan heng.. he’s a very nervous man. his past always creeps up on him, and he never got close with anyone. he feared that if he did, he would accidentally get them hurt.
that was until he met you, the you that sits beside him right now. he looked up to you, and aspired to be as strong and independent as you. but.. other than that, he felt something else. every time you were near him, he burns up, and his heart starts beating faster. just what is this feeling?
you stare at the two twin stars that were brighter than anything else. you stare at the moon, the moon that you both see all the time during your travels.
absently staring into the window, you ask him, “the moon is beautiful tonight, isn’t it?”
dan heng looks at you, a little confused. “h-huh?”
“silly boy, you were supposed to say yes.” you pull him closer to your body and gave him a small peck on the lips.

i feel like blade is like the most loyal guy ever. on nights where the both of you are relaxing and drinking in the moonlight, he definitely swears to you on his life and body that he would never cheat and has eyes only for you. unfortunately for this unlucky man, kafka and the others would force him onto a 3 week vacation!! on his trip, blade absolutely cannot survive without you. he’s so used to your daily affection that he would whisper your name, hoping you’ll magically appear in his arms. kafka could tease him by taking his phone away from him while you guys are chatting, and he would go full-on rage mode. summoning his sword and everything just for a chance to hear your voice again.
silver wolf could ask him to go to the arcade, and he’d groan before accepting. walking in, he’d see someone that resembles you perfectly. it makes him stop in his tracks, ignoring silver wolf’s complaints. oh, how blade misses you dearly. he’d do anything to just fall into your warmth again, seeing a person who looks just like you makes him remember just how much he longs to see you physically in front of him. when he’s finally free from what he calls “the chains of the word “vacation”, he rushes home. you’d welcome him back with open arms, but you were literally taken aback when he held onto you so tightly, knowing he wasn’t one to really show affection.
“did you miss me that much?” you’d tease.
he nods and digs his head into your shoulder, “yes. yes i did. there was someone that looked just like you, it made me miss you too much, just wanna hug you again.”
such a cutie when he’s feeling soft. patting his head, you’d laugh. teasing him for the rest of the night. after that, blade would act like that morning never happened. he hides his soft side so that his companions wouldn’t make fun of him later, he’ll only ever show it to you <3

“okay, i got this! today’s the day i’ll do it, i shall call him by the desired nickname i chose!” you tell yourself. you’ve taken little time to realize that even though you’ve been dating blade for a while, you guys never exchanged pet names and nicknames with each other. after talking about this to kafka, she suggests that you be the one to initiate it first.
the door opens, excitedly, you sprint to the living room. with a big smile on your face, you say what you’ve been waiting for this whole day.
“hi, bladie! how was work?”
all he could do was look at you, eyes wide open. you thought of him as a man who could never be flustered, but his expression tells you otherwise. he coughs, trying to steer your attention away from the slight yet vivid blush that appears on his face. “what did you.. just say..?” he asks, voice shaking from embarrassment. did he always look this cute when something catches him off guard? something he couldn’t foresee?
you couldn’t help but tease him further, asking him, “what’s wrong, bladie?”
staring at you, not knowing how to react, blade was considering just running outside for a breath of air. he could feel himself burning up, out of all the types of affection you have showed him, a nickname was something new. he’s used to hearing his name slip out of the tongue of his enemies or people he doesn’t care about. blade, a name he gave himself. a name that he doesn’t put any care into, but you did.
finally collecting himself, he pulls you into a hug. asking you to repeat that nickname again. you’d chuckle and do it a hundred times, before he would shut you up with his lips. the more time he spends with you, the more he could feel his past hurts slowly starting to heal themselves.

blade walks past you and falls onto the couch, breathing heavily. you guessed he had a hard day at work, so you sat next to him, hoping to give him some sort of affection. your lover isn’t one to drench you with sweet nothings, but you know he does love you. the red eyes that glisten every time blade gazed at you always meant i love you.
blade shifts his body on the couch, “this isn’t comfortable enough.”he complains, letting his hair fall down his face as he looms over. you then offer to give him a blanket, but he shakes his head no.
“then.. ah.. my love, what could i do to help?” you smile at him graciously. blade is truly the shy type. you never really expected him to do anything bold, or so you thought.
poor, poor you. he was feeling a bit brave today.
before you could ask him if he wanted coffee, he pulled you closer to his body, your head on his chest. he sighs, saying this was comfortable, that this was exactly what he had wanted. this was definitely a side to blade you’ve never seen before, but god, do you want to see it more. with every breath of his, you felt his chest rise up and down. he’s warm. it’s peaceful.
he snuggles you closer, “i would like to do this more often. i love you.”
you couldn’t help but blush at his response. he was so.. vague. but it made you smile from ear to ear. before you could say i love you back, he was fast asleep. blade’s head resting on yours while he put you in a tight hug that you were sure you couldn’t escape from.
as time passed, you could feel yourself falling asleep in his arms too. you stroked his loose hair strands, getting ready to shut your eyes, but a notification stops you.
kafka: “soo.. did bladie do it correctly?~”
huh? did she set this up? how disappointing.. you do truly cherish this moment though, so you asked her what was going on.
kafka: “me? set this up? oh no, no! i just gave bladie a warning~ i told him you might leave if he didn’t try making a move you know? he was so stressed today.. thinking about a way on how to truly make you feel loved. he doesn’t want you to leave him!”
smiling, you text her: that’s so cute! while you were busy on your phone with kafka, blade slowly arose from his short nap. his grip on you tightened and you let out a surprised yelp. still fuzzy-minded from his nap, he whispers,
“kafka.. she didn’t tell you anything? did she?”

the dozing general.
that’s what you were always remembered as. but you couldn’t help it, you just got so bored and tired of all the papers piling up in your office, who wouldn’t fall asleep? the only reason why you always finish your work in the end was so you could go back home to your sweet husband, jing yuan.
today was a particularly difficult day. you were stressed from all the staff begging you to do something about the missing papers for a new project.. but you simply told them it was too annoying! and went straight back home.
“i’m home, my love.”
jing yuan frantically appeared at the doorway, pulling you into a tight hug. he whispered sweet nothings into your ear, telling you how badly he missed you today and about how he cooked dinner for the both of you. wow..? him..? cooking dinner? must’ve been a miracle.
he put his hands on your shoulders, “how has your day been, dear?” all you could do was sigh and told him how annoyed you were, wishing it was possible to step down from your position.
he listened to every little word you had to say as you ranted and ranted. and as time passed, you slowly started to gather at the table with him. jing yuan sets up the food, bringing in some lovely dishes you didn’t know he could even create with those hands of his. you took your first bite into a promising looking steak. surprisingly, it was so good!
“wow, jing yuan! where did you get this recipe? this just made my day!”
he chuckles, smiling widely as he sees you genuinely enjoy it. giving you a cute kiss on the forehead, he tells you his answer.
“where’d i get it? i got it from youtube, my love.. yanqing showed me the video, telling me i should make it for you.”
✧ BLADE
oh wow. surely, you didn’t expect an outcome like this. a stellaron hunter being caught for two days? how embarrassing. thankfully kafka rescued you in time! but there was just one problem..
your husband, blade, hasn’t gotten a word from you ever since your capture. you worry for him, since kafka told you that she didn’t contact him throughout these 42 agonizing hours. instead of filing your report to your boss like always after a mission is complete, you immediately rush home.
running into your house and screaming from the living room, “blade! blade? i’m so sorry- i didn’t mean to get caught like that.. i-“
you could feel it. your lover’s hands slowly sliding to your waist, pulling you into a hug. his hands always fit perfectly. blade buried his head into the crook of your neck, and you can feel his breath.. slow and steady, as if he wasn’t at all affected by your short departure.
“i know.. i’ve known that this would’ve happened. just be careful next time, i’m just happy you’re okay.” he sighs, somehow pulling you deeper into his body as his lips catch onto yours.
all that you could manage out was a small whisper of his name, tears threatening to swell at your eyes. it’s only been such a short amount of time, but you truly couldn’t live without this man.
he picks you up bridal style and carries you to the couch, “rest, darling. i can bake a few sweets for you.”
✧ GEPARD
ah.. being captain of the silvermane guards was not an easy task. maintaining peace throughout the entire city everyday..? sign me out.. thankfully gepard landau has always been here to support you, motivating you to continue your work for him. you’re glad, glad to protect this city. but, you are even more glad to protect this precious being.
gepard wipes off the sweat from his forehead, a heavy exhale follows. he turns around and jumps at the sight of you home so early.
“ah! you’re home early.. you still have 2 hours left of your shift!” you tell him it’s alright, and that you just really wanted to see him. “ah.. is that so?” he says, “then you can see the surprise that i’ve prepared today!”
slowly walking to the table, gepard suddenly whips out a book in front of you. “tada!” he exclaims, “it’s full of all of our memories together!”
excitedly, you flip through the pages. ah! it’s when he proposed to you! and oh god, its a lovely family photo of the both of you with serval and lynx.. how sweet. was this all for you?
“i hope you like it..” gepard blushes, and inches his hands near yours. you notice, and grab him, pulling his hands up to cup his own cheeks.
“i love it, you’re my everything. i’m so lucky to come home to you everyday. i promise to work hard!” and with that, you seal that vow with a kiss.
