Closing the door behind her before continuing her way in, she sighed in relief with a smile upon her face as she was greeted by a normal looking person.

“Yes, ah--hello!”

She gave a polite bow, before blinking at the other at his suggestions.

“Honestly...” She shook her head and gave a soft laugh, “I didn’t think too much about claiming spots...Really, anything is fine!” She reached back and pulled her backpack from her arms, placing it on the floor, so as not to get the bed wet with the remaining melting snow. She unbuttoned her pea coat and pried her arms from the jacket, hanging it on the coatrack just beside the door.

Her eyes moved over to the Pokemon who greet her as well, and she gasp, slowly dropping to a crouch. “Oh hey there!” A bright smile crossed her face and she lifted a hand to allow the Pokemon to smell her.

“How are you, lovely?”

Rubbing her hands over her arms as she stepped inside the hotel lobby, Elle shuddered as she adjusted to the new, warmer temperature. One hand dropped to the side as she began kicking her boots upon the rug, her other hand reaching up to brush some snow-fallen strands of hair away from her face.

Once she composed herself fully, she pulled her gloves off of her hand and stepped to the counter. She spoke with the front desk clerk, and upon being told that she had to share a room, naturally, she kept her disappointment to herself. She wasn’t a fan of shared spaces, but, away from home, she knew she had no room to complain over provided shelter. At least the price was slashed by 10% to compensate for the inconvenience, and continental breakfast was added on--which led to her kind reply, “Thank you so much, I appreciate that.” She exchanged payment for a room key, and upon being told which elevator to take, she gave a polite bow as she’d been taught to do in Johto, and made her way upstairs.

The bustle of the lobby was interrupted by the quieter elevator, and after that, the silent hallway that greeted her once she stepped out of the lift. She moved to the room, wondering who she would share it with. Would it be a girl, boy, or someone else? Would they be nice, or would they silently share space? Maybe they wouldn’t even occupy it until later that night, and come back to the room drunk for the new year.

Giving a warning knock at the door, she slid her card key into the door’s security slot and watched the lights blink affirmatively before it clicked open, after which she opened it. She stepped inside and looked around, peering at the surroundings. It was actually a nice room!

Monroe was busy in Goldenrod with a few of his friends, the Pokemon in his team! The year was closing, and it was a time to reflect and remember the good times. 12 Badges from the two neighbor regions of Johto and Kanto all shining on the hem of his jacket.

It was very clear that they had acomplished alot in the year. He thought petting his Espeon, Satomi, stroking her back. Suddenly there was a knock on his hotel door. He had heard that he would have to share his room with another person since everywhere else was booked.

-- So, my blog, unovatrainer was affected by the purge--it’s inaccessible--and quite honestly, just knowing this makes me feel a bit uncomfortable with Tumblr due to the idea that there was hardly any NSFW content, and what NSFW content there was must’ve been posted...had to be well over a year ago, since I made it a little SFW to attract more RPers, anyway.

But now neither of those things matter, and the blog is all but gone in everything but name only. I don’t really know how to fix it, and to be 100% I just don’t feel like fixing it because it was never broken. Tumblr fucked it up. If there’s a way to revert the blog I wouldn’t know how, it just redirects me to the Dashboard.

In essence, I’m sort of at a loss. Ellis is pretty much done for, is what that means to me, unless I make a totally new blog, which, I don’t really feel like doing. I don’t know where that leaves me, or where that leaves Ellis. I’ll let you all know when I figure out how this...is gonna go, but for now, I 100% have no idea.

This blog is still active and fine, but I have maybe 10 followers here on Valebound (and while I appreciate each of you), the lack of participation/desire from others to mutually interact regarding RP is slim to none, regardless of how many starters I’ve written for all three muses that’ve been active. So idk about Valebound either, for that matter.

Elle watched as she gently spun her spoon around her tea, her eyes fixed on the cup’s contents. A little herbal mixture of lavender, rose and chamomile swirled around within a small herbal container as the spoon occasionally tapped it, moving it around the dyed water.

Carefully, she pulled the cup to her lips and took a sip, closing her eyes to relish the flavors across her palate.

The card had a Delphox on it’s flat, surrounded by fire and bright colors along it’s borde, which read The Magician.

"The Magician! Oh, oh. This is good." She smiled broadly, a smile that could excite the stars themselves. "This card is very powerful. This card is all about the manifestation of your very own willpower! It represents desire, creation--she takes the potential of The Fool and transforms it into living with the power of desire itself!" She clasp her hands together happily, looking up to her subject in question. "Remember that you are powerful, focus on shaping your inner world, and the outer world will surely follow!"

The Pokemon that sat in front of her was her very own Eevee, who blinked several times, a very excited look upon it's face as if it were waiting for the good part from the tone in Elynda's voice.

Elynda laughed heartily and reached across the drawn card, ruffling her toddler Eevee's head gently. "Oh, you are too cute. Your mother has truly blessed the world with you, you know that?" Scooping the Pokemon into her arms, she began tickling it's tummy, greeted by Eevee giggles as her face was kissed by it's full, brown tail as they sat on their cloth above the sunkissed dewy grass.

-- Finally, I’ve brought Uma to life.

Aldis’ wife, Elle’s mother, Alastair’s keeper.

I initially imagined she would have short La Roux-esque hair, but the shorter style I originally envisioned just didn’t speak to me, it was too...clean cut for her, and I wanted something a wee more devious. I went with more of a suave look to accompany her gift of gab and persuasion while not losing out on the body and volume that Elle sort of inherits with the fluff of Aldis’ tails.

I envisioned her eyes to be a bit more Queen Beryl (Sailor Moon) or Edea (FFVIII) styled, piercing and overstylized--but while I want her cold and unbreakable, I also wanted her to be compelling, inviting, and believable. Not as of this drawing, but much later in their immortal years, she ends up as a grandmother to @unovatrainer , @pokemonidol and @pokemonbosstrainer , and ultimately, a villain for @unovatrainer once he discovers he’s inherited witch blood. So, I needed her to maintain familial trust while having a face easily twisted to display the villainy she’s so capable of.

Originally, when I drew her, she wore quite a large, oversized gown with medieval-inspired flared sleeves and a cowl, but...it was just far more effeminate than I anticipated Aldis’ life partner to be. So I got to really jumbling muses for drawing her and anyone from Tilda Swinton to Okoye (Black Panther) came to mind, so it sort of came naturally to dress her in a suit she’d be ready to face off in, any time, any where--whether it be a fight with magic, Pokemon, or both. The blazer comes off to reveal a vest with white Vale markings similar to Aldis’ dress at the waist.
