#my alarm clock (digital)#my phone will be there (= alarm 2-10 🙈)#a glass of water#tissues#1 or 2 piles of books (mix of fiction books I've started and want to start + an assortment of non-fiction books I read on the side xD)#(every now and again I sort all but one or two back onto the shelves but the pile quickly regrows lol)#pens#sometimes a notebook if I remember to bring it from the living room#hand lotion#eye drops#the occasional hairband if I only take it off when in bed#which is preferable because then I'll have one on hand should I need it#but I often take them off in the bathroom and then forget to take them#the occasional supplement or anti-allergy meds#my lamp's on the floor xD

#yes to all of this#fuck I love this movie so much#and fuck this fight scene fucks so hard#ca:tws#everything about this is just perfection to me#the soundtrack 🤌🏻#the sound editing 🤌🏻#the choreography 🤌🏻#the acting 🤌🏻#the emotional beat of the reveal 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻#god#and there was this great meta at some point about how the movie set up steve's competency in a fight#how he's strong and making good use of that strength#he literally handled himself against an entire elevator full of well-trained agents#and they've also shown us how unflinching the winter soldier is#single-mindedly focused on completing his mission#they've given us the glimpse of him catching the shield thrown at him with full force#the way he never runs but calmly but determinedly walks which somehow is so much more terrifiying than if he was rushing at you#he doesn't need to rush because he will get to you#they gave us these characters and showed us how good they are at what they do and then threw them at each other#and it's pure fire#there is personality in the way each of them fights#it's engaging it's fucking visceral#and then the added layer on top of who they are and how they came to be who they are#and who they were to each other#steve a man out of time who still mourns the friend he could not save#and to come face to face again with him like this??#and he doesn't even know him?#(but he knew him. the man on the bridge. he knew him.)#excuse me while I go cry in a corner over how good this is for the millionth time 😭
