He had finally rushed in with his bags of groceries, knowing that Zav would be there any minute, but his mind was running a mile a minute. It wasn't because of dinner either - it was most definitely because of the night that he and Zav had a few nights before and the fact that they hadn't talked about it yet. He was sure that they were going to have to confront the night, but right now Niall was unsure if Zav was even going to show up to the dinner. But he had faith that Zav wouldn't break the tradition, because it was something that they did that kept Niall sane - especially after the annulling of his marriage.
Sighing softly he sent another text to Zav and let him know that he was home and preparing dinner, so he was free to stop by whenever he wanted to. He didn't give him the option to 'not' come, because he did want to confront the conversation and see where Zav's mind was with the night that they shared. Not to mention the small part of him that want to explore it again - which is why he wanted to see where Zav's mind was on the situation.
it was about a good thirty minutes later when he heard the knocking on the door. Most of the food was simmering on the stove and the aromas were warming throughout the home. Niall whipped his hands on a towel and rushed over towards the door. He moved to open the door and was extremely relieved when he saw Zav, but the awkwardness was definitely there. "Uh, hey. Thank you for coming. Come in?"

in kendall's ideal world they would be a happy family, but he knew that trying to force hyde to do things only ended up with both of them clashing - hard - and with kendall in tears and hurt and hyde mad and smashing things. so he decided that a family would come eventually and whenever things happened. he moved the couch back and turned and looked around and started to use the swifter mop on the floor. but he quickly looked up when he heard the other start talking about 'seed' and 'the lord', because he really was confused on what the hell hyde was talking about at his church.
"okay, now hyde, I don't think the lord gave out his seed to his followers or believers. i don't even think mary got his seed when she was pregnant with jesus.... but i mean, i totally could be wrong." but then it dawned on him that it was probably code for something else. causing him to sigh and glare at hyde. "are you having more children...." he accused. "you know what... actually i don't even give a shit... don't even answer that, because OF COURSE that would be some stupid shit that you would be doing. seeding followers." he scoffed.
there were a lot of things about hyde that didn't make sense. he was a pastor who slept with men for starters. he was a darklighter who was a paster to put that icing on the cake. everything with kendall also had an air of complexity to it as well. they had children together and they were always going to be connected one way or another. to the half ghost's dismay, at least one of their sonds had turned out like hyde and he wouldn't wish that on his worst enemy. that's why he couldn't exactly leave town anymore, he had to start figuring some things out.
the knock was merely to just announce himself since he was going to walk in anyway. once he walked inside, he started to unbutton his shirt so that he could get a bit more comfortable. "it was good. we only had one person who said they needed the seed of the lord to rid themselves of demons." which he didn't know if they wanted him to breed him or what, but that wasn't going to help him.

"that would be perfect. if your manager comes i will totally vouch for you." he smiled softly and looked at the other. "okay, so i've been dead for about forty years. and i haven't gotten back up into living my life - it's mostly been helping my children live their lives and keep up with their father, so I forgot to keep up with my self that i lost who i was." kendall said, softly rambling on. "sorry I am rambling a little bit." he turned around and shook his head trying to correct his thoughts and then looked back at the other.
"okay, so i was a nurse in my 'past life' but now i think i am into novels, but i also am not sure. if you had a redo in life what would you do?" he asked the other softly with a charming smile.
going about his day to day was always fun in cream & sugar, easily one of his favorite parts. he interacted with a lot of different people across various walks of life. when he got the sense that their love lives were also a bit complicated, he couldn't help but want to intervene. that was why he wanted to get closer to kendall and he was happy when the half ghost decided to stop him. he called someone to tell him that he was going to take his lunch and then he sat down across the other, with a smile on his face.
"i have more than just a moment for you. how does thirty minutes sound? feel free to ask me whatever you want i'm pretty much an open book."

Since the masquerade was a fun event for him - it made him feel good again and let him know that he was able to live again and be able to get back up and get out and enjoy his life again. He walked into 'Same As It Never Was' to check out some of the antiques that were in there. He looked up and bright smiled brightly when he saw Aiden there. He had been amazed by the other male and was glad that this was who he ran into.
"Hey I am happy that you are here. Maybe that you can help me. I am here looking for something old. I am going to a friend's wedding and they asked if I could help them find something 'old' for them." He looked at them with a bright smile.

sitting inside of 'cream & sugar' he was writing down a few ideas in his notebook. he waws still unsure as to what he wanted to do with his life. He had been dead for nearly forty years at this point, so there was no excuse now. He wasn't going to any 'great beyond' and he wasn't going to be taken away. so now it was time for him to reclaim his life. get into things that he didn't have a chance too. he was a nurse in his past life, but that was out of neccesity and having children only halted him. so now he was writing ideas out of things he wanted to do.
seeing his acai being placed down, he smiled up at the heart melting barista. cerio. "hey, do you have a moment for me to pick your brain? just questions about jobs and such."

kendall had an amazing time at the masquerade ball. he even had to say that hyde was on his best behavior, so that ws the reason for his mood at the moment when he was spring cleaning his home. He knew that he had to enjoy the good times while they lasted . he heard the front door open and automatically knew that it was hyde coming in, because their sons were out for a few hours. he wasn't sure what he and hyde were doing with their lives or even together, so it made him more confused when the male came over and things just... either fit or they got into a heated argument and had the best sex ever.
looking up he smiled softly when he saw hyde enter into the room. he turned and looked at him with a bright smile. "how was service today?" he asked, since it was sunday. not sure if he was a beliver in anything, especially with all of the species out there, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to go to hyde's church with knowing the things that the male got up to.

Kendall sighed as he finished clocking off of work, he was out of his vest and still in the uniform - that did make him look a bit thicker in certain intriguing parts. He put his back pack in his cars and started to get in his car, but he looked up when he saw a familiar build. "Hyde..." He felt anger fuel him from the last conversation that the two of them hand. He walked over towards where the other was and glared at him. "So... you just don't... check in at nights anymore? What's the issue with that?" He said, knowing that he wasn't truly upset and pissed at the other or at least he couldn't stand consistently in the feelings.

Niall looked at the dinner that was displayed on the table and sighed softly. He knew that his lover wasn't going to eat a bit of it, but cooking it made him feel a bit better about the conversation that he was going to try to have with him. He looked up at the ceiling and took a soft deep breath. Turning around when he heard the door opening, signaling that his lover was home he smiled brightly. "Hey, mi cielo." his thick accent came out, being even more persistent when he was nervous, but he tried not to show it as he stood up from the table and walked over towards his significant other. He smiled and looked up into Bodhi's eyes and saw the love that the male had for him start to glimmer. It was something that made him only love and appreciate the male more.
"I made dinner... although I know that you won't eat any.... uh... I got some of the blood you save for special occasions. Or you can have some of mine." He turned his head and looked at Bodhi, because he looked like he was going to break down. But he was definitely there to have this conversation and finally worked up the nerve to do it.
"I wanted us to have a conversation... is that okay?" His soft eyes looked up at the taller male and he knew that Bodhi would say yes, but there was still nervousness wrecking through his nerves and making him feel like he was going to vomit. He didn't even fully know how Bodhi felt about children, so this was a big step.

Niall had been deeply in his thoughts about the conversation he wanted to have with his partner. He was mindlessly wondering through the town as he completed some of the errands for his home and closing up the weekends, before the work week started. He was definitely inside of his mind for the conversation that he was going to have with Bodhi, so it was understandable for him to drop things and have mess ups, but the mess ups were still things that drove him insane, so when he heard the other talk to him he quickly turned around and slapped his forehead. "Goodness. I would drop my brain at this rate." He looked at the other and smiled softly. "Thank you so much... can I pay you for this."

Ardghal's eyes narrowed at the sign. He wasn't sure if he should be offended. A Cinnamon dragon? No such thing existed. A moment passed and he let it go without another thought, partially swayed by the delicious smells wafting from it. His attention was instead drawn to a metallic clink, something hitting the pavement of the street, his ears pricked. He saw the shining object hit the ground, bounce a little, unbeknownst to the person walking away from it. Ard walked over, leaning down to pick the thing up, realizing it was a key. He turned it over in his large hand and then looked up. "Hey! You dropped this," Ard called out, taking a few steps forward.

the young witch was still trying to find their way around the town. he hadn't yet found his brother and he was settling into the house that he had just purchased, which meant frequent visits to the diner until he brought groceries and started actually cooking his own dinner. but for now he wanted to get settled in, find his brother, and make some friends. he smiled as he placed his to-go order and watched the people of the diner, but he did see someone that seemed like he was watching others.
he made eye contact with the person and saw the wave. the friendly nature within himself caused him to wave back and he walked over towards the other. "you sure?" he looked at the other with a soft expression taking over his face.

it'd been a long night of icarus trying to bring people together, this valentine's day had been rough and there wasn't as much love in the air so the cupid was working twice as hard to try and bring people together. that usually meant clubs or bars in alexandria but not exclusively. tonight he'd seen a few people going to a bonfire and watched from afar, trying to bring them together. once he saw them starting to couple up, he took his leave.
it was now four in the morning and he was starving, the only place that was open was goldilocks. stumbling into a booth, he waited for his waiter to bring his sweet tea when someone walked in.
