Benefits of Kitchen Marble Flooring
There are several important benefits of utilizing Indian marble as kitchen flooring, including:
Marble tiles and slabs come in a variety of options: but due to the mining and manufacturing processes, each piece of marble has a distinct color and vein pattern. No two marble floors ever seem precisely the same, despite the fact that tiles made from the same huge slabs will have an overall consistency of color and resemblance in design. One of the major reasons marble stones are so highly regarded as a building material is the individuality of each marble floor.
Polish: Unlike many other types of stone flooring, marble can withstand a very high level of polish. This enables producers to polish marble to a very smooth, shining finish that is quite beautiful. Additionally, polishing helps to bring out the hues of the stone, enhancing and emphasizing them.
Marble has a light transmission, which is one of the reasons it has been employed so frequently in great works of art. Some lighter-colored marble materials can have their surface illuminated when used for flooring, giving the material a subtle glow. The way the light moves across the surface of the stone may be extremely beautiful, even in darker marbles.
Natural Substance- Indian Marble is a completely natural substance that was formed in the ground. Those who like natural over synthetic materials greatly value this attribute. Although marble cannot be considered biodegradable, it can be recycled and does not pollute the environment when it is no longer needed.

What Is Calacatta Quartz?
Calacatta quartz is a robust and solid type of quartz. This member of the quartz family is quite commonly used in many parts of the world thanks to its stain-resistant material. In addition, its reliable and durable structure offers easy maintenance to the user. Therefore, you can prefer the calacatta quartzite in all the indoor and outdoor living spaces such as kitchens, bathrooms, and dining rooms.
Distinct veins of the material render it preferable as an authentic and elegant piece. The bright white quartz is accompanied by thick veins of a blue and gray color. As each piece is different from another, you may sometimes come across gold and brown veins. The distinct feature leads to varying patterns also in the veining. The calacatta quartz, despite its appearance that is similar to a fancy marble, is a relatively economical alternative for those who seek elegance and a fair price at the same time.
Is Calacatta Quartz Expensive?
The price range of calacatta quartz is usually between $60 and $100 per square foot. The cost might vary depending on the thickness and patterns of the material. Due to the uniqueness of each piece, and especially if you are looking for specific characteristics, the cost might increase. It is a relatively more budget-friendly alternative than marble, while it is still an expensive material than the solid surface. You will realize during your search that quality always comes with its price.
It is a money saver to buy the material in tiles first, instead of in larger pieces, given that the latter would be much more complex and thus expensive. However, likely, you have already allocated a significant part of the budget to this purchase if you prefer a not-very-cheap material such as calacatta quartz, so it is also reasonable to buy the full slabs once and for all! It would be wise to consider the extra expenses initially, such as transportation and installation. If the slab requires some cuts, keep in mind that this will cause some expense.
Is calacatta Quartz Natural Stone?
The short answer is no. Calacatta marble mainly comes from Carrara, Italy. As one of the most preferred materials in the universe of natural stone, it is encountered in many home decorations worldwide. However, as a light color stone, it might often remain impractical due to its porous feature. Calacatta quartz, as an imitation of the namesake marble, is the perfect alternative since a relatively budget-friendly price accompanies its strong yet lighter material. We must note that the human-made calacatta quartz is different from quartzite.
What’s more, the maintenance of the calacatta quartz is much easier than the marble. It is quite easy to use and impervious to acidic elements such as wine and coffee. While calacatta marble is hard to clean, quartz is resistant to stain and thus a perfect choice for the countertops in your living spaces!

Basic Knowledge About Granite
We at universal granimarmo specialize in bringing you the best in high-quality granite countertops. We understand that choosing granite for new countertops or to replace existing ones can feel intimidating due to the multiple considerations involved. To help you through the process, we’ve prepared a brief overview of some essential granite information.
What is Granite?
Granite is a type of igneous rock that formed millions of years ago, hardening from molten slag. It primarily consists of the minerals quartz and feldspar. This is the geological definition; in commercial use, the term granite refers to a more broad collection of stones. Any stone that shares key characteristics (like strength and durability) with granite can be called a granite, even if the geological name is actually something else. So, while a stone’s technical name might be anorthosite, since it acts like granite, it’s a granite.
Where Does Granite Come From?
Granite is sourced from many places, including Italy, India, and Brazil. It is quarried from the earth in large blocks, which are then sliced into slabs to make countertops. Some varieties of granite are only available from specific locations, and the cost of transport from that location will factor into the final price of your countertops.
What are the Characteristics of Granite?
Granite is one of the hardest known materials, and is highly resistant to scratches. It will not be affected by citric acid, wine, tea, coffee, or other common sources of stains and damage to other materials. Granite is popular for kitchen countertops in particular because it is also extremely heat-resistant, making it an ideal choice for around the range or cooktop, as well as saving you the hassle of looking for a trivet every time you want to set down a hot pan. Also ideal for kitchens or bathrooms is its resistance to bacteria–although nothing is completely impervious to bacteria growth, granite is so easy to clean that what bacteria do grow can simply be wiped away. All in all, granite is a great investment for any home.

GRANITE COUNTERTOPS MASTERPIECE
What do you see when you look closely at your granite countertops sitting on top of your cabinets in your kitchen?  Probably nothing significant at first glance, but it’s there. What you might ask? What's in granite countertops?
There’s just something about natural stone that changes people’s perception towards it. If you look deep enough at your natural stone, you could make out unbelievable patterns that only nature could depict onto a rock. Unlike us – human beings I mean – granite stone seems to become more and more beautiful with time. It’s like stone never gets old; I mean of course it ages, but it just seems to become more exciting and beautiful as time goes by, something that should have been adopted by humans.
Just looking at your countertops it is easy to take for granted nature’s work of art through millions of years. Can you just imagine how far that particular granite stone has traveled? or how much it has been through in its lifetime which will essentially last forever – given that you take extremely good care of it of course. It is amazing how far your mind can travel once you start to understand the entire process, beginning with its conception from volcanic

Choosing Your Granite Countertops Is An Adventure!
Granite comes from volcanic rock. Previously, you’d find it only in 5-star hotels and palaces. Today, it’s a popular choice for kitchens everywhere.
WHY GRANITE?
With granite, each countertop is inherently unique – so yours will not be exactly the one John installed last week, even though it may be very, very similar. That also means you may want to visit our showroom to see the actual piece you’re buying.
Granite is quarried all around the world, producing a great array of available colors.
Granite is the second hardest material after diamonds. That means that if your kitchen knife and your granite countertop meet too hard one day, the granite will win – coming out uncut – just as you would want and saving you significant repair bills. (You can always sharpen the knife.)
Granite is extremely heat resistant. That means that if your hottest skillet and your granite countertop meet one day, the granite will win. This is just as you would want and again could save you considerable repair bills.
Granite is very easy to clean without special cleaning materials and few rules. (Your countertop will be allergic to very few things, mainly certain oily or acidic substances since it is porous. Be sure to read up on that.)
CHOOSING A STONE COUNTERTOP
Today, granite has serious competition from other beautiful and exciting stone surfaces offering similar but different advantages. Examples would be engineered natural quartz stone counter made of Silestone and Cambria or even marble. Quartz is available in even more colors than granite and tends to be more uniform from one end of the counter to the other.
