“Words, I think, are such unpredictable creatures. No gun, no sword, no army or king will ever be more powerful than a sentence. Swords may cut and kill, but words will stab and stay, burying themselves in our bones to become corpses we carry into the future, all the time digging and failing to rip their skeletons from our flesh.”

A Sister in Heaven
The moment you left me,my heart was split in two one side was filled with memories, the other side died with you.
I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep and take a walk down at memory lane with tears upon my cheeks.
remembering you is easy I do it everyday, but missing you is heartache the never goes away. I hold u tightly within my heart and there you will always remain.
Until the joyous day arrives, that we will meet again.

Hometown
These streets that surround me Suffocate me with my past. Holding memories of a life Desperately needing recast.
These streets feel cold, Unfamiliar and old. Engraved with my footsteps, Where my story was told.
These streets feel empty, Emotionally numb. For these streets do not resonate With who I have become.
I wish to escape, I yearn to roam. For this may be my hometown But it’s not my home.
