I’m backkk
But sadly i got fat. My mom made me go to a recovery house, where I currently now weigh 121 ish.
I’m kinda sad about it, but I’m happy to be healthy again.
I can slowly but surely feel myself relapse. It’s like I have this sick fantasy of wanting myself to get healthy and gain weight. Only to watch it slowly fall off over time. The feeling of waking up in the morning and seeing my scale drop is such a rush.

dip your veggies in ranch
i don’t know who needs to hear this, but...
if all you’re putting in your body today is veggies, dip them in ranch
if all you’re putting in your body today is a rice cake, put something you love on top of it (peanut butter, honey, fruit, etc.)
if all you’re putting in your body today is tea, put honey or sugar in it
if all you’re putting in your body today is coffee, mix it with cream and sugar
even if it’s not the only thing you’re putting in your body, you deserve things that taste good! the few calories that it will add will not make you fat.
as someone 2 years into my recovery, my biggest regret is that i was too wrapped up in calorie counts and fasts to enjoy food and enjoy my life in general.
i remember my prom night, worrying about the fact i had eaten in my dress and didn’t look as thin as i could have. i spent an entire disney trip avoiding all the yummy food i could have tried at the different parks.
what was supposed to be the best time of my life was overwhelmed with worries about keeping myself as miserable as possible.
all i ate was low cal, bland food that didn’t make me feel as if i had eaten anything at all. i was wasting my one meal a day on food that didn’t make me feel satisfied, and didn’t even taste good.

it’s so small. it has no effect on your diets and goals. i do not promote ed’s but that little extra taste to make the food worth it will not set you off of your goals.
i had the body you see in thinspo. i could see my hip bones and my collar bones and my spine. i had the thigh gap and the skinny waist and i wore the crop tops and the tight shirts. and i hated myself. the only thing i regret more than that sad, starved body is letting that obsession ruin the little things.

eat the fancy dinner with your friends before prom. try the different foods on vacation. put cream in your coffee and honey in your tea. put peanut butter and bananas on your rice cake. eat cake on your birthday! and dip your veggies in ranch.
in the long run, you will never regret this small, small act of kindness towards your body.
