Ecosia!
There is a search engine called Ecosia. Every search you make through them, helps to plant trees throughout the world. They are a very transparent company and publish all of their accounts online for all to see.

I have used their app and replaced it with my normal internet icon so I always use it. There is also no difference (that I have found) between them and the other top search engines!!

Caddis Fly Larvae
Recently, at a wildlife watch session, we found some caddis fly larvae casings whilst pond dipping. Caddis fly larvae live in water and make their casings from any material, binding it together with silk that they produce. At the wildlife watch session the caddis fly larvae had made them from water lily fragments.
Whilst on holiday in Wales, we visited a waterfall called Dyserth Waterfall in Rhaeadr.
Whilst exploring the river that fed the waterfall, we found some caddis fly larvae casings made from grains of sand and tiny stones. They were very strong.
Wondering what else the casings can be made from, an internet search revealed that people keep caddis fly larvae as pets and line the tank with small beads and pretty stones. The caddis fly larvae then make their casings from these. Once the caddis fly larvae leaves it's casing, they are turned into jewellery!
