I just found out that apparently there's an interpretation where Zeus straight up kidnaps Artemis and Apollo from Delos to fight Python. It's not a popular one, but it exists and all I can think of is this:
Apollo: I do care about Zeus although he kidnapped me and Artemis.
Dionysus *chokes on wine*: EXCUSE ME??
Apollo: Not the worst thing he's done.

I always imagine Apollo’s temples with open ceilings so the sun may shine on his devotees
There is music being played in the front, some of us are dancing
People are drawing with chalk on the ground with flowers in their hair, laughing and singing
a safe space, where we can bask in his glory

Offerings don’t need to be expensive or bought
I’ve noticed throughout the pagan community that there’s a compulsion to associate offerings and their value, with monetary value. Even though so many people on so many platforms have tried their best to bring this to light, I still even find myself questioning if my hymns and natural offerings are enough.
I truly believe that in between religious corruption and capitalism, pagan spaces have been heavily influenced by consumerism: a value that’s so far removed from the origins of our practice. Most of the worshippers in Hellenic polytheism, (and many other pagan practices) are low income! As someone who works two jobs, lives with their working boyfriend AND lives without certain utilities (I have water powered housing), the cost of living is still way too high for the average person.
With limited time, money, and patience, sometimes I just say thank you. Sometimes I just spend some time outside, or find cool leaves and those offerings go to my deities. Pinecones, bottle caps, cute flowers. All of these are real examples of offerings I’ve made.
Using affordable materials has drastically changed my relationship with the Gods… it’s improved by so much! I feel closer, down to earth with these beings, and I’m able to afford my groceries doing so. I sing a hymn in the car or say thank you, and though it doesn’t require much, they appreciate it the same (if not more so)!
May the Gods look down and smile at their worshippers, especially the ones who need them the most.

You ever look at the rest of tumblr and go "they dont know about how tommyinnit (who at the time said he was straight) tricked his friend (who is a gay man) into marrying him and when his friend/husband found out (months later when he was joking about having a Vegas wedding with another friend and then Realised) he tried to get a divorce but tommy said no even though he has had a girlfriend the entire time and that then he wrote wattpad rpf fanfic about him and his friend/husband kissing (specifically with tongue) and his girlfriend dying and all the wrongs of the world being fixed. Not only that but he subsequently recorded an I'm just Ken parody about this marriage and most recently while Tommy was on a trip around America, back in England, his friend/husband started streaming more with Tommy's girlfriend and bought her a new iphone so he joked that he was being cucked. And now he's just come out as bicurious after his friend/husband tried to get him to say the f-slur on stream and his response was that he could only say a 1/5th of it before calling his husband a " 'ggott"." And this is all (probably) real. This is a real thing that happened.

Devoting things to Lady Aphrodite
Devoting my skin care to Lady Aphrodite,
Devoting taking care of myself to Lady Aphrodite,
Devoting doing my hair and makeup to Lady Aphrodite,
Devoting taking care of my body to Lady Aphrodite,
Devoting painting my nails to Lady Aphrodite.
Devoting things to Lady Aphrodite has helped me care for myself more, because I know she'd want me to take care of myself, because she cares for me.

The 7 Pillars of Hellenism.
Xenia - This is the pillar that signifies hospitality, generosity and reciprocity. It's typically demonstrated in a guest/host dynamic.
Kharis - This is the pillar that signifies appreciation and gratitude. It entails giving to the gods and and expressing gratitude when you receive something from them.
Eusebia - This is the pillar that signifies reverence and veneration towards the gods. It can be translated to 'piety' or 'reverant conduct' meaning that you show respect for them.
Hagneia - This is the pillar that signifies purifying yourself. It entails having moral, perhaps physical too, purity and avoiding miasma where possible.
Arete - This is the pillar that signifies excellence and brilliance. It entails trying to reach your highest potential and this can be in any field.
Sophia - This is the pillar that signifies the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.
Sophrosyne - This is the pillar that signifies self-control and prudence. It involves being of sound mind and remaining balanced, which can further lead to other positive qualities to have.
I hope these are right and that I didn't misunderstand their meanings! Hopefully this is useful to anyone, I certainly enjoyed making the post!

Apollo's interaction
Me, preparing to go out, wearing my sun pendant necklace: I must pray to Apollo to protect me today.
Me praying and offering chocolate.
10 minutes later: three crows keep flying outside my window.
Me: Hi Apollo, thank you so much!! 💛💛💛
Apollo, probably: np, love chocolate!
(just sharing this to explain how beautiful the relationship with the gods is)

Why is getting into worship so hard??
I think it’s honestly lack of direction and routine. While I love how free paganism is, it’s so easy to get lost especially with adhd. It’s the whole “so many possibilities that I can’t choose anything” thing yk
