The mogai community can be so overwhelming.
It feels like a new suffix gets coined every week, and a hundred new labels get churned out in response. I just can't keep up with all these new labels that only have like one or two words different from others and the same flag colour palettes and everyone's adding new discourse terms to dnis that I have to trudge through mountains of gross triggering information just to figure out if I can interact or not and I'm just so burnt out.
The idea of having a mogai blog still brings me joy, but actually sifting through all this spaghetti that's been thrown at the wall just for me, just for my own, personal archive blog, is exhausting.
#kinda want to delete this blog#feels more like an archive of my failure to keep up then anything else#I just wish old labels weren't so hard to find#the only reason I have so many labels in my likes is because I caught them as they were being coined#idk where I'm supposed to look for older terms#any blog I followed that took those kinds of request are inactive or deleted#every wiki gets deleted or abandoned for one reason or another#I can't even get my own label properly credited or described so how can I trust that others are

the sentence "it's impossible to misgender someone using gender neutral pronouns" is very thinly veiled transphobia btw
refusing to use someone's pronouns once you know what they are is misgendering. it doesn't matter what pronouns you replace them with.
if a trans woman tells you she uses she/her pronouns, and you knowingly use they/them instead without correcting yourself, that is still misgendering.
if a nonbinary person tells you it uses he/it pronouns, and you knowingly use they/them instead without correcting yourself, that is still misgendering.
this is not a debate, this is a fact, it is misgendering
