My electricity was down all day, and it doesn't seem to come back any time. (I had to charge my phone from my car). So no doodle today. I'll make extra drawings depending on how many days I go without electricity

Day 4! This one is very *very* loosely based on a screenshot from BotW!

In my halo drawing, I saw I couldn't properly convey distance between the background elements, a lot of it due to a centered horizon line, so I tried to address that here.

The original image was of a lake in the Great Plateau. I transformed it into a river with a more obvious perspective and added a tree to overlap on some elements. Now that I'm looking at it, with how much I focus on the grounded elements, a higher horizon line would've been better. But hey, I draw to improve anyway.

I'm not much of a switch user nowadays, but BotW was one of my favorite, and one of the rare games where I just look at the in-game scenery.

Day 3! This one is a screenshot from halo.

I did it to practice clouds and water, I'm not entirely pleased, but I think I slightly improved with contrast, which is good. I will paint more clouds and water in the future.

I didn't own an xbox, but I owned combat evolved on an old CRT PC, alongside the GTA games and Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005). I didn't have sound and a faulty wire made it yellowscale, but I still remember looking at the views. Eventually I got those issues fixed, and heard those little alien freaks for the first time, changing my life.

Day 2 of my daily doodles to learn how to paint. Last day's painting actually had a tree, as hard as it is to believe. It looked pretty bad, and that made me upset. That is the reason why this drawing is of a tree and forest, so I can practice foliage. This painting used a screenshot from GTA San Andreas as a reference. GTA San Andreas is actually a pretty big game for me. I played it when I was very little on my PC and I vividly remember crying and calling my dad to help me figure out an objective (explaining how to recruit people into your gang). That made me want to learn English faster. So, in a way, CJ is the reason my current college major is English. Thanks, CJ.

im trying to move away from x, formerly known as twitter, as they say. I'm currently trying to learn values (and in general how to paint) and I decided I'll do that by doodling random screenshots from games every day. So I thought "Why don't I post these on tumblr, so I can make myself use the platform more and uninstall the demented hell that is whatever twitter has become?". And since Bloodborne turned 9 yesterday, I decided todays doodle to be the moon presence intro cutscene, which is my favorite shot in the entire soulsborne franchise.
