His little song voiceline cleared my skin, solved my depression, i have no idea what they gave the skins team this time to make him look so perfect, tasteful and like he actually fits the world he is in. Unlike the whole heartsteel thing which was an incoherent mishmash of different concepts and ideas that did not work well together, a lazy prestige that looks bad in game and little to no spotlight on best character.

All of this to say that i’m salty about him getting a 200€ angel themed chroma because it’s so in line with my personal aesthetic and if that was the real skin it would have made me come back to league. (Which means i’m safe… for now… until they decide to put it at an accessible price)

From the beginning of your relationship with Yone, you always felt something was... off about him. Of course, that was a given, especially considering how little everybody knew about him.

Nobody truly knew a thing about Yone, other than the simple facts: He loved cold brew, was a Taurus, was an INFJ, and frequently micromanaged the chaotic life he and his friends lead.

Overall, Yone was a private person, preferring to not manage any socials, let alone be a figure in the spotlight on television Instead, he would occasionally hop onto corporate socials to answer any burning questions the Heartbeats had regarding new projects, songs, or tour dates. He'd stray towards the back and allow his friends to have the front floor. It's how he preferred things to be.

Upon meeting you, Yone never believed he could fall in love with someone as conservative as himself. Someone who preferred to keep the intimate details to oneself and valued a small circle. A person who didn't want to put all their personal information, memories, and photos out for the public to gaze upon.

It seemed fate had a way of drawing the two of you together- Him to you and you to him.

And ensnared within the jaws of Yone's adoration, his obsession, the desperate producer took all measures necessary to root out every fragment of information he could about you. His torment to understand you was extreme. Yone was extreme.

Secrets Yone always confined and kept to himself effortlessly flowed past his lips when it came to you. Yone was hungry to know all the little things about you that the world didn't know. And the world just may... Never truly know a thing about you either.

Because you were- for the most part- off the grid, it didn't make it hard for Yone to keep you all to himself. In fact, he wanted nothing more than to do just that. Why should the world get to know you as intimately as he did?

"I'm thinking about making an Instagram account..." you voiced aloud, staring at your phone. This immediately caught the attentive ears of Yone. Turning your attention to your boyfriend, you failed to notice how he tensed up, lips forming a tight line. His trepidatious fingers bounced on the rim of his mug.

"Is that so?" he began in a low and quiet tone.

You shrugged, "I mean it could be a nice place to put all of our memories!" Yone chuckled coldly, shrugging his shoulders. And with that, he picked up his mug and made his way over to you.

"Sure, sure, sure... I'm just worried that this will take away the mystery from our love lives." Your brows furrowed in confusion. So the producer continued.

"You know... Putting our business out in the public? Honestly... The last thing I want is for the fans to say something to you. You know how they act when one of us starts dating... Constantly prying for information, wanting to know more..."

He cleared his throat, "...I just don't want to put you under the spotlight, you know- public scrutiny could hurt."

"Yeah, I get it." You responded, forlorn that your lover didn't seem invested in the idea.

Yone wrapped his arms around you from behind the couch, and with a sigh, pressed his lips to your temple. "Ultimately, it's your decision. I'm just worried you'll become overwhelmed with all the attention."

Nodding your head, you pushed your head against his neck. "You might be right about that. I'll think on it a bit longer before deciding."

Still, even with a decision that still had yet to be sorted out, Yone still wasn't pleased with it. He hated that he was out of control. He hated that you were even considering putting yourself out there!

It made him feel like someone could easily take you away from him- Like others would have the ability to uncover all of the secrets that should only be confined between you and him!

So he made the hard decision to lie to you one evening.

"The fans have become quite violent lately." He voiced, looking at an article on his laptop. "They're starting to bump up our security. Or at least, that is the plan I've decided..." Yone sighed. A look of concern crossed your face.

"Why?" You questioned, cautiously walking over.

Yone turned his head to peer towards where you were standing. "There's... A rumor going around. Heartbeats are speculating that I'm dating someone." He informed with a forged sadness on his face, watching your eyes widen in shock.

And how he loved the look of fear in your eyes.

He had you in the palm of his hand, wrapped around his finger. He knew if he scared you just a little bit you'll be at his mercy. Yone knew you'd come around and listen to him.

"I'm sorry..." "Don't be. It's not your fault. I should have done a better job of protecting you."

You shook your head stubbornly. "Stop. You shouldn't be beating yourself up over this, Yone. You do plenty to protect me." You rushed over, wrapping your arms tightly around him. You felt for a second that if you let go, you would lose him. You felt... afraid.

Aimlessly, you were trying to feel a sense of security, one of which Yone would happily provide with his following statements:

"It's best the two of us just lay low for now. Okay?" He smiled, kissing the top of your forehead.

"As long as you listen to me, I'll keep you safe in my arms. Always."

the weeks continue on, the look of delight on your face a welcoming sight every time he comes in. he listens intently when you ramble about your admirer, the newest book you got, and more importantly, how it makes you feel.

he decides to step his game up, adding in little trinkets and confectionary with each book drop off. he thinks you have no clue, in fact, he's so confident you don't that he even starts leaving handwritten notes within them. but you are no fool, there's no one else you've ever spoken to about the intricacies of your own heart. no one else knows which stories captivate you the most. only yone.

"another book i see," he hums, taking a sip from his coffee and missing the glint in your eye when he asks. "still no clue who it's from right?"

"y'know," you say, taking a seat across from him. "actually, i think i have a little bit of an idea."

"oh... really?" he answers, trying his best to maintain eye-contact.

you nod again, "mhm." a small, yet shy smile on painted on your features, but you also struggle to make eye-contact, the sudden weight of your confession looming over you.

there's an uncomfortable silence that drapes over the two of you, or at least, yone thinks there is. he opens his mouth to apologize, so clear that he's been caught, but you cut him off.

"or actually, maybe, i know nothing at all." you say, quickly getting up and gathering up your things. maybe you'd like things to stay like this for a while, it's comfortable and cozy. "sorry about that."

"would you like to go on a date sometime?" you interrupt again, clammy hands holding the book up to your chest.

for a moment, yone just stares at you. knowing that if things goes well, ezreal and kayn are definitely not letting him live this down. he can hear them now, exclaiming, "what do you mean you were too scared to ask them out on a date?! so uncool yone."

he also knows that letting you in means that you'll get hounded by them too, but you'll deal with it when you get there... if you get there. and yone decides that he's okay with that.

Reader totally did not expect to be dragged out on a date by THE Yone from Heartsteel! For most of the car ride they are still a bit nervous and starstruck, it’s hard to think that for the majority of the year they were talking to one of their idols while being unaware of his identity.

Yone is so caring and understanding though, few words are shared in his car but he lets you be a passenger princess by making you choose all the songs you want, of course at a certain you try to put some of the music that made you bond at the start of your relationship. Yone is a very responsible driver so he tends not to get distracted but you can tell from his expressions that the song are having an effect on him as well.

Once you finally got out of the traffic that would inevitably form itself after a concert it didn’t take much to get to the ramen place Yone suggested. Conversation between you and him will slowly go back to normal after the server takes your order and you finally are able to ask him all the questions that had been buzzing in your head. You could listen to him talk for hours and even though Yone tries to keep the conversation lighthearted he admits to feeling guilty about not telling you who he really was and how certain days he was so tempted to reveal everything, especially when you would gush about him in your chats.

He also tells you how the other members are to blame for your secretly arranged meeting, how Aphelios spotted him talking to you on discord and eventually spilled the beans to Sett first and then everyone else. He also told you how Kayn could not contain his laughter when he found out what was going on and that before the meet and greet Ezreal gave him a pep talk! The mental image of an extremely concentrated Yone being glued at his phone all day made you chuckle, in a way it reflected what had happened to you since after you started talking more your heart would leap every time you heard the discord notification sound.

Now that Yone was fully relaxed, he was finally ready to dig into his food… more like pounce onto it like a starved man. At a certain point you even offered to share some of the gyozas with him and watched his face light up slightly, it made you wonder if dinner was the only meal he skipped out of nervousness.

Whenever he’d try to give you an apologetic look you’d remind him how much of a workaholic he was and how you under your watch he would be taking care of himself. After that you ordered another portion of gyozas for the two of you to share and Yone was glad you had temporarily turned your head the other way, he needed to compose himself and quit blushing so hard.

You’d always imagined that Yone would be a huge gentleman, his interactions with his fans were always so kind and insightful if needed but he really upped his antics with you. He would take your hand to help you up from your chair, put your coat on for you and even pay dinner for both! You wanted to thank him but for Yone this was his way of repaying you for being the one who always would cheer for him.

You would have to initiate most physical affection, Yone is the type of person to relish in the slightest touches of hands but never pursue anything more, his nervousness coming back whenever he felt the need to get closer to you. You find out how much he actually loves to hold hands and hugs, after you ask for one he’s the one who doesn’t let go even if you’re leaning on the dirty walls of a not very lit alley and it’s starting to rain. At least you’re comfortable though, your head is leaning against Yone’s chest and his coat and body provide more than enough heat to keep you nice and warm. You feel a bit dizzy from the sensations: Yone’s cologne, the crisp smell of his fresh shirt and the beat of his heart all make you melt further onto him.

He’s also such a good kisser even though it’s obvious he holds back at first. Despite wanting to show you more of what his feelings for you are he also wants to make sure you are comfortable throughout your date and that he’s not pushing your boundaries. He’ll also be the most attentive and responsible boyfriend ever, after your first date you can always call him whenever you need advice about anything ranging from finances to help with doing things like configuring the new router you bought. After every date Yone will ALWAYS make sure to drive you back home, especially once your relationship becomes more public.

The busy notes of electronic samples overlapping one another weren't designed to appaise the need for easy listening music in convenience stores or to climb the charts by becoming viral on social media, in fact the most recognition Yone's music had gotten before heartsteel was in the small niche of rythm game players.

On the other hand smaller studios would often ask him to make one or two tracks for their games, which Yone would gladly accept to do. Despite the limited reach the producer was still proud of his work, always buying a copy of the games where his music appeared and keeping in touch with the communities that formed around them with a discord account that would't reveal who he really was.

You'd still keep recommending songs to each other but the conversations would be less and less, you missed your friend but you knew that his work was more important than chatting about music.

He looks like a really calm person who surrounds himself with a ton of unhinged friends! Too bad he hasn't revealed his voice yet! "

They realized he was spending more time than normal on his phone, reading your thoughts on the new promotional materials that were being posted. Kayn was the one who confronted him first and could not stop laughing when he realized Yone had started to develop some feelings for you, scrolling trough the messages the younger man could also see that you were starting to feel the same way for him.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- As much as the Kayn was amused at the absurdity of Yone falling for his online friend turned fangirl, he alsoknew he had to help his fellow bandmate, barging into the common room to tell everyone what was going on and fill Ezreal in as he was oblivous to the whole ordeal. It took all of them a good half hour to concoct a plan to make a meeting between you and Yone happen, then another half hour was needed to convince the producer that this was indeed a good idea and that you would not take it as badly as he imagined.

You were happy to hear his voice after one year of being friends and made sure to reserve a few hours just for him, as you went about your day your mind started to wander a bit about what it would sound like and if your conversations would flow just as smoothly as they did via text.

"Oh Hello, it's nice to finally be able to associate a voice to the person." The two of you talked for a while about how long overdue your call was and how time had flown since you first met, it truly didn't feel like your first conversation at all.

I'm know that you're very excited about the debut of Heartsteel, one of my coworkers managed to get two VIP tickets and backstage access. The thing is that the person they bought the other ticket for cancelled last minute and they gave it to me." A carefully crafted lie exited Yone's lips, all to give you an excuse to go meet him.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- You couldn't help but feel a slight pang of jealousy for how lucky your friend was but you wanted to be supportive and expressed your joy for him and how excited he must have been. "Wait, you've got it all wrong. I wasn't planning on keeping the ticket." You froze for a second, all sorts of possibilities racing trough your mind. Then you heard it the notification of a discord message from Yone, he had just sent you the ticket. "Wait... so you want me to go?" You heard him chuckle as you were slowly realizing what this would imply, your heart couldn't race more than this. "You deserve to go and see them, you've kept an eye on them for a long time now. I don't want to impose it onto you so think about it for a while and let me know, will you?" Useless to say that you spent a very long amount of time asking him if he was sure about it and then thanking him profusely, this truly was one of your dreams come true.

Security notified their manager Alune and gave her a detailed description of your looks, she too felt happy about what was going on in Yone's life and told him and the other boys to concentrate on the performance while she took care of things in the background and made sure to give you and the producer ample time to talk.

In this universe Yone strikes me as someone who actually knows a lot about technology and i'm sorry... he produces music for rythm games. And yes he does those extremely complicated and highly detailed songs that are like the hardest charts in the game.

The busy notes of electronic samples overlapping one another weren't designed to appaise the need for easy listening music in convenience stores or to climb the charts by becoming viral on social media, in fact the most recognition Yone's music had gotten before heartsteel was in the small niche of rythm game players.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- It was never the big game developers that contacted him, they had collaborations with world renouned producers and famous idols that voiced their characters. On the other hand smaller studios would often ask him to make one or two tracks for their games, which Yone would gladly accept to do. Despite the limited reach the producer was still proud of his work, always buying a copy of the games where his music appeared and keeping in touch with the communities that formed around them with a discord account that would't reveal who he really was.

When people asked you about your favorite songs in the game you would most likely reply with one of the songs Yone produced, often going into detail about what made them resonate with you so much and what made them so unique in your opinion.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- Under the guise of anonymity Yone would sometimes join the conversation, asking questions and indirectly getting some feedback from you, even finding it helpful with his writer's block sometimes. It was enough for the man to send you a DM to discuss more of your shared music tastes, hoping you'd reply.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- Your discussions quickly settled into a developing friendship, you knew the man had an extensive knowledge in music theory as he would sometimes ramble about it with you and he also told you that because of a new job offer he would become more and more busy as time went on. You'd still keep recommending songs to each other but the conversations would be less and less, you missed your friend but you knew that his work was more important than chatting about music.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- That was until Heartsteel's debut was announced with a small teaser, showing all the members and a small snippet of their new single. You immediately recognized the familiar electronic sound of the songs that made you and Yone bond in the first place, the nostalgic feeling making you smile. You decided to send a link of the teaser to him, asking for thoughts and sharing the hype about the new band.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- Yone had never felt so guilty yet glad that he never revealed that he had produced those rythm game songs to you. You were so familiar with his style that you spotted it immediately, you could've uncovered that he was actually part of the band! He tried to stop himself from asking more of what you thought of the members, thought of him, but quickly surrendered to the fact that hearing you gush about how much you liked his music gave him even more reasons to keep going.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- When he asked who your favorite member was he almost spit water on his midi keyboard, causing Aphelios to turn around to see if he was alright. Yone composed himelf quickly, yet the message you wrote kept resonating in his mind. "Oh I'm totally in love with Yone, looking at him and his interactions on twitter he sounds like a bit of a band mom and I find it really endearing! He looks like a really calm person who surrounds himself with a ton of unhinged friends! Too bad he hasn't revealed his voice yet! "

They realized he was spending more time than normal on his phone, reading your thoughts on the new promotional materials that were being posted. Kayn was the one who confronted him first and could not stop laughing when he realized Yone had started to develop some feelings for you, scrolling trough the messages the younger man could also see that you were starting to feel the same way for him.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- As much as the Kayn was amused at the absurdity of Yone falling for his online friend turned fangirl, he alsoknew he had to help his fellow bandmate, barging into the common room to tell everyone what was going on and fill Ezreal in as he was oblivous to the whole ordeal. It took all of them a good half hour to concoct a plan to make a meeting between you and Yone happen, then another half hour was needed to convince the producer that this was indeed a good idea and that you would not take it as badly as he imagined.

You were happy to hear his voice after one year of being friends and made sure to reserve a few hours just for him, as you went about your day your mind started to wander a bit about what it would sound like and if your conversations would flow just as smoothly as they did via text.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- You were starting to feel a bit nervous when you picked up the call, timidly muttering a "hello?" and waiting for any sort of reply. "Oh Hello, it's nice to finally be able to associate a voice to the person." You could not help but squeal a little on the inside, who would have known that his voice sounded so rich and felt so mature? The two of you talked for a while about how long overdue your call was and how time had flown since you first met, it truly didn't feel like your first conversation at all.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- You finally gave into the curiosity and asked him if there was any particular reason for Yone to have wanted to voice chat now and his reply almost left you speechless. "So... I'm know that you're very excited about the debut of Heartsteel, one of my coworkers managed to get two VIP tickets and backstage access. The thing is that the person they bought the other ticket for cancelled last minute and they gave it to me." A carefully crafted lie exited Yone's lips, all to give you an excuse to go meet him.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- You couldn't help but feel a slight pang of jealousy for how lucky your friend was but you wanted to be supportive and expressed your joy for him and how excited he must have been. "Wait, you've got it all wrong. I wasn't planning on keeping the ticket." You froze for a second, all sorts of possibilities racing trough your mind. Then you heard it the notification of a discord message from Yone, he had just sent you the ticket. "Wait... so you want me to go?" You heard him chuckle as you were slowly realizing what this would imply, your heart couldn't race more than this. "You deserve to go and see them, you've kept an eye on them for a long time now. I don't want to impose it onto you so think about it for a while and let me know, will you?" Useless to say that you spent a very long amount of time asking him if he was sure about it and then thanking him profusely, this truly was one of your dreams come true.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- During the day of the debut concert the Heartsteel's members grand plan was put into motion: security was well aware that as soon as your ticket number was checked in they would have been able to identify you. Security notified their manager Alune and gave her a detailed description of your looks, she too felt happy about what was going on in Yone's life and told him and the other boys to concentrate on the performance while she took care of things in the background and made sure to give you and the producer ample time to talk.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- You had the time of your life at the concert, seeing how much energy and stage presence Heartsteel had in real life made their music video pale in comparison. The stage felt electric and once it was over you couldn't help but feel dizzy and overloaded but also oh so happy, seeing Yone and Aphelios playing alongside the other members was the highlight of the concert for you.

·:¨༺ ♱✮♱ ༻¨:·- So many things were going to your mind when you were queued up for the small meet and greet that was beeing held backstage, you were one of the last people and when it was your turn you couldn't help but feel like Sett, Kayn and Ezreal were all treating you like they somehow knew you already... and they were all hiding something. You felt their gazes following you as you finally approached Yone and even he looked like something was amiss.

You would not let this special occasion be ruined by your gut feeling! You took a few steps and prepared to greet him, hopefully having enough time to tell him how good his performance was and how much you enjoyed rooting for his success. Before you could even say a word he anticipated you and for a second you thought you had misheard everything he said.

Once in his car he could finally drop the persona and relax a bit more, the Yone you had met online was starting to show himself more and more. "Do you have any particular preferences for food?" He asked while making his way through the still packed streets of the city. "Mmh... I think I'll leave the choice to you, after all you just performend in front of thousands of people on an empty stomach." So here it goes. Im kinda obsessed with shadow magic so dont judge me.

Reader is born with this dark magic. They are having trouble to control it so they have joined the Kinkou. To find peace and maybe have a solution to their trouble. But even if they and kinkou try their best, its not enough. They have panic attacks and breaks most of the time they try to get it under control.

Another night without sleep, they have decided to roam around the woods. Thinking how they are a failure to the Kinkou. Nothing but a threat to the balance.

Kayn senses this dark magic. Well more like Rhaast did it but Kayn wont admit it lol. Kayn thought that it was another one of the order but the magic was unnecesserily strong and they were wearing kinkou uniforms. This picked Kayn's interest.

So its more like what will he do to them? Trying to convince them to join their order? Or befriend them? Using them against kinkou like an agent?

Yeah more like i just wrote the story but I DONT KNOW IT JUST GOES ON AND ON WHEN IM TRYING TO REQUEST ANYTHING. Hope it wont offenses you or anything bad. Really...

I admire your creativity omg i wish i could make stories this detailed!! Also sorry for replying after what?? Two months? I have so many projects and uni so I’m going through my backlog when I have time.

I think that since Kayn is much more self oriented than Shen or even Zed could ever be he won’t exactly use reader as an agent against the other order or for his. For him these structures are somewhat marginal and he’s much more driven to become stronger and eventually overthrow Rhaast thanks to you. I like to think that when given an opportunity like this, meeting someone who is obviously a more powerful shadow mage than him, he would still use reader but only for his personal gain.

More like using it would be a mutually beneficial relationship, both him and reader are doing something they shouldn’t so it’s in both’s best interest that they keep each other a secret to their respective orders. Maybe reader doesn’t even want anything to do with Kayn but he’s got some charm and he knows how to use it well so in one way or another they’ll find themselves forced to interact with him.
