Yayoi watched silently as Sphyaena picked up the baseball bat, she felt a sharp pain her in knees and ended up on the floor. Ew the floor was probably filthy. She felt weak and disoriented, not used to being in such pain. Sphyraena darted off to the beds, having no reason to follow it, Yayoi remained on the floor.
“May..Maybe the guilt will go away now”
She muttered painfully to herself.

It didn’t respond to having soap thrown at it, a bit of a disappointment. Yayoi kept her distance away from the shower, what else could she do?. She glanced over at where the tools were kept and grinned slightly.
“Is that so? I did not realize that...
She muttered sarcastically before seeing Sphyraena step out of it’s hiding spot.
“And I said I dare you”
Yayoi headed over to where the tools were kept and grabbed the hatchet, taser and baseball bat before heading back over to Sphyraena and placed them before it to decide.
“Now you have options”

Yayoi expected anger as a reaction to her harsh words and didn’t respond to being told to shut up.
“Oh, you know I’m-”
Yayoi felt something hit her in the head and paused, glancing down at what Sphyraena threw at her. It was soap, not really that bad but still. She picked up the soap.
“I guess we’re playing that game Sphyraena. I dare you”
Yayoi threw the soap back at it.

“Ugh, let’s find you a tissue before you cry us a river”
Yayoi glanced around the room for something suitable, maybe one of the shirts work suffice for now. She walked over and grabbed a shirt and headed back, throwing it at Ume when she got close enough.
“Use this”
Motive Open/Reaction
Yayoi continued to watch Ume cry, not feeling the need to offer help. So, she wasn’t a student council president in the first place.
“A ballerina huh? Do you hate it so much that you needed to lie to everyone? Or do you just enjoy lying to everyone, I hate liars, why the need for games?”
She sighed afterwards.
“Stop crying already”

Yayoi noticed Sphyraena sprint into the shower, either it was infected or was trying to avoid getting infected. She didn’t see the point in hiding, with everyone trapped in the same room, it wouldn’t be long before the virus spread to the rest. Yayoi made her way over to the shower.
“Hiding is pointless Sphyraena, we’ll all get infected sooner or later. So quit hiding like a frighted little child”
Maybe insults would cause it to leave the shower, Yayoi was going to find out.
Anxiety | Sphyraena | Motive (OPEN)
There didn’t seem to be a way to escape any of this. The hood of Sphyraena’s cloak cast a shadow over its face as it stood against the wall, looking down, completely still. Just what it always did. Occasionally it would glance upward to examine the others. Catching anybody uncomfortably close to it would only make it slide the slightest bit away. And after this many days, it should surprise none of its peers.
Murakami’s voice didn’t get a reaction out of it at first, but when Sphyraena had found itself in a different spot than before, a brief but strong feeling of anxiety had come over. She did it again, it thought and calmed down. But there was going to be another motive. Sphyraena didn’t bother thinking if the environment had changed any; something was probably put in there.
It wasn’t exactly wrong about that. There was… A virus. One that affected how you acted, in fact. Little control over personality. Slowed thought process. Feeling overwhelmed. Already looking horrified, Sphyraena quickly felt its own forehead. No fever. Sphyraena was not infected. Not yet.
Sphyraena squinted as the lights had become brighter once more. Too many people… Too many. Who knows who was already infected? And it could be contagious. Like people, there were also too many risks. With that, Sphyraena leaped up and onto its feet, then sprinted into the shower. It didn’t matter how long it had to hide from this.

Yayoi spotted Ume and noticed her acting differently, she must have gotten infected. She walked over to Ume and stared at her for a moment before speaking.
“Aw, did the student council president lose her confidence? How pathetic really for the leaderly type”
Yayoi snickered and spoke harshly one again.
“Do you need a lollipop? Maybe you’ll stop crying”
Motive Open/Reaction
Ume knew something was wrong when she woke up the second time and her head felt as if it was on fire. Moving slowly to her legs, she stumbles, balance unfitting for a ballerina as she pressed a hand against the wall to be supported. A sudden rush of anxiety overcomes Ume, and she lets out a struggled gasp. The symptoms repeat in her head like a taunting chant, dread in her stomach as she realizes what’s happened.
Ume Aichi has been infected.
Fists tightening weakly, her cheek twitches, and usually her she would be angry. No, Instead, she felt a wave of sadness, melachony. She felt helpless, and lonely, and scared. Her lip trembles, then, she lets out a stressed cry.
“A…..Aa….” tears stream down her face as she hunches over, a sharp contrast to her usual confident stance. “W-W-What’s happenin’!?” she inquires, startled.

Altered words
Yayoi stared at the lights and listened as Murasaki spoke to the remaining people here. She didn’t look forward to the help they were offering for a murder when everything went black. When Yayoi regain consciousness she listened to the next part of Murasaki’s speech. A...virus? That didn’t sound very good.
“No one fucking cares you stupid-”
Yayoi’s hands shot up to her mouth, difficultly maintaining your personality was something that was mentioned wasn’t it...? This wasn’t good, not good at all. Yayoi stood back up and tried walking away but stopped after a few steps and turned around to face the others and started yelling at a few of them.
“Hey con artist, why don’t you be useful for once!!”
Oh no.
“For a peace loving tap dancer, you seem to have a violent side”
Yayoi seemed to be saying what she really thought of the others.

Yayoi looked at the pillars Kaichi mentioned, they could work for now but she was still a bit worried.
“The pillars might suffice for now”
She turned to face Kaichi.
“It’s grey Riseiin-san”

“There’s no place for us to really change”
Yayoi looked up at Kaichi before gesturing around the room. That was probably unnecessary.
“Also Riseiin-san, I need my blazer back, do you still have it?”
New Sights || Yayoi || Chapter 2 Open
After regaining consciousness the second time, Yayoi made her way over to the small new area that was available. It was nice to have a washer and dryer and some new clothes in this awful place, Yayoi had been wearing her current outfit since she woke up here, so it was nice to be able to wash them.  She looked through the clothes on the shelf and took a grey t-shirt and black pants.
Unfortunately, there didn’t appear to be a decent place to change, which made things a bit difficult for her. She thought quietly to herself.
“What to do…”

Yayoi thought for a few moments over what Ume asked, they were still trapped here so another death might occur and who knows what state the next corpse will be in.
“I promise to investigate for you next time”
She sounded a bit uneasy and hoped Ume wouldn’t get annoyed over it.

Ume folds her arms.
“Y’just gotta promise next time a body drops, y’gonna do all the investigation for me. I don’t wanan get m’hands dirty with all that corpse shit.”
She shutters, thinking about the time she spent in the garbage with Kaichi.

“You do?”
Yayoi sounded excited over hearing that Ume had makeup, she walked a bit closer to see what was available. It was something, she looked back up at Ume with a twinkle in her eyes.
“What kind of favor, Ume-san?”
A Somber Aftermath || Yayoi || Post trial open
Ume’s ego is defintely groomed by the other girl, a smirk coming to her face. She twirls her ponytail loosely, thinking of how nice it would be if everyone just listened to her. It was a pleasant thought. The ballerina arches an eyebrow at Yayois’ dlimemia.
“…I got some makeup, if y’really want it. I want y’to do me a favor though. Not gonan ask y’ta kill anyone, don’t worry.”
Immediatly, it was just some light stuff like eyeliner, mascara, and bb creme, but it was something.

Yayoi bought her being the student council president hook line and sinker, nice job.
“Oh! Are you going to be our leader in that case Ume-san? I bet you’d do a great job, you don’t seem like someone afraid to voice your thoughts”
She listened to Ume’s next question and took a moment before responding.
“There’s no makeup around and I don’t know if anyone here would be interested in me doing their makeup.... So I thought painting would be a fun alternative. It’s artsy enough”
A Somber Aftermath || Yayoi || Post trial open
Ume doesn’t seem annoyed with Yayoi introducing herself. Maybe it was her exhausted emotional state that made her more open to her classmates. Who knew? She nods at the information, glancing at her nails before before  responding to Yayoi’s question.
“…Yeah. Student council pesident.”
Nothing personal, Yayoi, but Ume has to keep up with the lie. She hasn’t told anyone here that she’s actually a ballerina. Ume tilts her head and looks at Yayoi.
“So y’do makeup and y’paint?”

Yayoi looked at where Ume gestured to, thinking she meant the mysterious person. Unfortunately she was a bit nervous about asking Murasaki about paint being available right now.
“...Maybe later”
Just Ume? Yayoi wondered if that was it, if Ume wanted to add anything else, she probably would have.
“Nice to meet you Ume-san. I’m Yayoi Ashikaga, I’m a makeup artist. Do you have a talent?”
Ume didn’t ask for your name.
A Somber Aftermath || Yayoi || Post trial open
Ume is too tired to be skeptical or to argue. She’s glad that the makeup artist hadn’t point out Ume’s own messed up make up. She rubs her eye absently before folding her arms.
“Maybe ask that, uh…person.” Ume gestures vaguely. She bites her lip before introducing herself.
“…Name’s Ume.”

A voice startled her slightly, she wasn’t expecting anyone to speak to her. Yayoi turned to face the other girl, remembering meeting the other while investigating, she hadn’t learned the girls name though.
“I wanted to paint something, but I couldn’t find any paint to use. Thought it might help me deal with the situation”
Yayoi just needed someway to calm down after what happened, since she couldn’t find any paint, maybe talking would help
“I haven’t learned your name yet, may I ask what it is?”
A Somber Aftermath || Yayoi || Post trial open
The trial had finished after a long discussion, Yayoi turned around on her bed to avoid watching the execution. That was just a bit too much for her, she put her hands over her ears to avoid listening as well. After what seemed a few minutes, Yayoi moved her hands away and slowly looked over her shoulder, safe to say the execution was over.
“Are… We allowed to leave now?”
Her voice sounded fearful as she looked at the others quickly before leaving her bed and headed over to the area where the tools were. She took a few paintbrushes and started looking for some paint, it didn’t look like any paint was around… A shame. Yayoi went to place the brushes in her- no where to be found blazer.
“….I gave Riseiin-san my blazer”
Guess Yayoi’s carrying the brushes for now.
