Hi, I would like to email an invite to a private view for our Creative Pride installation by David Shenton. It takes place on 13th July at Stage Two, Norwich Theatre Royal. Is there an email address I can send an invite too? Thank you, Sam

Today we remember those we’ve lost to anti-transgender violence.
If you don’t want to be alone today, there are a list of observances and vigils here.
If you want to be alone, but still need someone to talk to, Trans Lifeline is a non-profit support line for transgender people and people struggling with gender identity. They’re available by phone in the US (877-565-8860) and Canada (877-330-6366).
GLAAD (@glaad) has a longer list of resources, including international organizations, and some that use online chat.

i wanna give a shout out to all lgbt people who thought they were another identity before realizing they were something else. lesbians realizing they’re trans men, bi/pan people realizing they’re a lesbian/gay, binary trans people realizing they’re genderfluid, etc. even if you don’t know if your current identity is the final stop, even if you think it’s a “phase”, or you don’t know what label fits you best, you’re on a journey to self discovery, every step matters, it shapes you into the person you are or aspire to be, and you’re not fake or a bad person for figuring things out.

if youre closeted this pride season, its okay & you arent any less gay or bi or trans or nonbinary because of this. it doesnt mean youre ashamed or a bad person for not being out. dont feel pressured to have to come out, pride is for everyone & even if you arent ready to tell anyone you still belong here, you still matter, & we all support you!

While many stories in the media may tell you differently there have always been queer people who have led happy lives. Whether their environment was welcoming or not queer people have always found a way to build communities, friendships, relationships, and rich full inner lives that are not filled with torment. Not every queer person has been happy, but there have always been happy queer people, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
