also, I’ve been waiting to hear Stromae’s new music for a very long time. this is just a feature on one track but i hope it points to more stuff in the near future.

I rarely come across something I can read without getting distracted anymore - but this is one of them. I particularly like how the author captures the fervent piecing-together of a person’s character that happens when you mostly get to know them online. In Kirsten Roupenian’s own words:

This is where I first met Dame Judi Dench, and I’ve been a fan ever since.

I was lucky enough to see this talented duo perform live a few years ago, and really related to this particular piece, back then. It still works as a good note to self.
