also i'm obsessed w the way that the ONLY person carl ever actually goes to and admits his fear (that he's a fundamentally bad person or there's something wrong w him) is michonne who is also one of the only adults in his life who has never treated him like there IS something wrong w him or like he's "cold" and she obviously has never seen him that way! they also meet each other when they're both arguably at their worst (carl immediately post-lori's death and michonne after leaving andrea) and they grow and heal together! they HELP each other heal!!!!

in 4x15 one of the claimers asks daryl if he slept with "one of the little ones" and then uhh the whole 4x16 situation happens idk daryl maybe you could have seen that one coming

I don’t understand why people get so mad at Carl in 4x09. Like, almost every bad thing that’d happened to him up until that point was a direct result of Rick’s actions (even if that wasn’t the intention), he’s allowed to be mad about it for one episode.

I love how the Grimes are such a physically affectionate family. The way they’re all sitting curled up together. Rick’s arms around Lori and Carl, Carl leaning against Rick’s chest, Lori playing with Carl’s hair. They show their affection so freely and it’s honestly really nice to see something like that in an otherwise very dark show.
