100 Season 6 Theory Time!

So season 6 Episode 4 aired last night and I posted some theories a few weeks ago on instagram about what I thought would happen in season and I was right! so let’s talk about what’s next! This is going to be a long one!

I definitely think Bellamy and Co. are going to figure out pretty quick that Josephine is NOT Clarke. As we saw in the promo for Episode 5 Bellamy and Murphy find what I’m calling the “Prime tomb chamber” (I call it this because you can see ALL the skeletons of the primes/former hosts all lined up behind name plaques. 

As from the promo we know that Russell needs Josephine to try and pretend to be Clarke because as we learned last night Josephine was Third in line for rebirth meaning she jumped two primes. The other primes will definitely not be too enthused if and when they find out. I think Kaylee (the one that boarded the boarded the mother ship and lost her family members) will find out in the next episode about Josephine and that’s why Josephine stabs and kills Kaylee so she doesn’t tell the other primes. 

So I am stuck between two theories as to what is going on with Clarke right now. First theory is that she is stuck in her mind and facing her demons (Mount Weather scene from the trailer, etc) Second theory and a bit more far-fetched is that Clarke’s consciousness goes back to the flame. Gaia made a point to tell Madi in the premiere that one’s consciousness can not be in two places at once. In that scenario she used it to prove that Madi didn’t know Clarke was in trouble. If she in fact is inside the flame the scene in Mount Weather could be Clarke trying to show Madi not to make the same mistake she did (Similar to last season when Lexa showed Madi her leaving Clarke at the end of Season 2 as a way to tell her not to leave Bellamy to die) The mistake she could be trying to save Madi from making is to now kill everyone in Sanctum. Simone and Russell have both pointed out how alike Mount  Weather and Sanctum are and in this last episode we saw an even more striking resemblance which is sacrificing others to live.

Now, on to some more pressing issues. Gabriel! Gabriel clearly doesn’t believe in the primes rebirth method. Obviously we know he probably has a chip on his own but he doesn’t seem to believe in passing it on and stealing life from nightbloods. Therefore, can he really be alive after 236 years? Is this Anomaly keeping him alive? The Children of Gabriel did mention something along the lines of “Are any of you willing to risk walking into the anomaly to find him” I personally think the Anomaly is the Aurora we saw Jordan and Raven eye-balling in the premiere. I personally believe that if Gabriel is somehow alive it is because of this anomaly. But, I have a different theory which to me would make much more sense and that is that Gabriel is merely a title now. Almost like a king in a sense. Someone who carries the message and the word of Gabriel around. It very well could be Xavier himself (the one who maced Octavia and had her tied to a tree) He seems to be the only one in that group of Children of Gabriel that seemed to live by the idea of Gabriel which is SAVING the nightbloods. He also very obviously left that knife for Octavia to find and use to free herself and Rose because he knew his people were getting blood lusty. If he is not Gabriel or acting as Gabriel now then he definitely is close to him and will play a role in facilitating the saving of Clarke’s consciousness.I feel like Octavia will get closer to Xavier (platonically, romantically, or strategically) He will show both Octavia and Diyoza that Sanctum is the problem. The primes. I think Diyoza saying that “The two most hated people of earth will be the saviors of Sanctum” will be true by the end of the season just not in the way they think (not by killing Gabriel but by aligning with him) Another thing that supports my theory that Gabriel is now a title is that their motto is “Death to Primes” “Life is Death” If Gabriel was somehow alive this would be hypocritical of these beliefs as he IS a prime and if he believes death is life (as in death is a part of life) then him living for ever or even needing hosts himself would be pretty hypocritical. 

I definitely think that Josephine’s intentions remain unclear. I am not certain on which side she will fall. We saw in the flashback she was close with Gabriel. If she thinks he’s still alive is she going to go to him? We do see her as Clarke riding on a motorbike in the woods later in the season. Maybe she starts to doubt her parents method after learning more about Clarke and all the people who love her from Bellamy and Co. 

Another thing, Madi being a nightblood can not be a secret forever. Somehow and somewhere the primes WILL find out. What I am SOOOOO curious about is how they’re going to react when they find out Becca is inside Madi’s chip (flame) seeing as she is the one who invented their life source and if they knew DIyoza they definitely know Becca or at least who she is. I think that somewhere down the line they are going to experiment on Madi (As seen in the overall trailer for season 6, Madi strapped in a white room similar to the room Clarke woke up in) I think they will be so interested in trying to get Becca to take over Madi’s body because they NEED Becca’s knowledge on night blood since Russell made it clear last night that nightblood is becoming more and more scarce and they are on the brink of mortality. I think Madi will definitely have to communicate with Becca and get her help from the flame on how to save Clarke too. Maybe she won’t hear good news (no way to save her) so that’s why they turn to Octavia and Gabriel.  

Josephine might also learn a thing or two from Clarke (maybe why she kills/wounds Kaylee in the next episode) she didn’t seem super murderous in the flashback. I also think that Josephine is going to realize REALLY quick it is a lot harder to pretend to be Clarke because she has soooo many people shitting on her for things she doesn’t even know about. I also 100% believe the “You called me on the radio for six years and then left me to die in a fighting pit” quote is coming in the next episode and Bellamy finds out in this moment that Clarke is not Clarke. Jordan and Raven are already suspicious and this will solidify it for him. Could be wrong about the timing there and maybe this is after he knows and he’s saying this to Josephine to try and pull Clarke out although I think it isn’t going to work. 

Another interesting thing is in the trailer we see Bellamy choking Russell which based on last night episode isn’t surprising but what is surprising is Clarke is there and doesn’t seem to do anything about it. (Still 100% think this is Josephine but maybe she has turned on her father at this point and is team Skaikru and wants to get Clarke back for them too) 

Final thought: I find it extremely interesting that the two people who are facing their demons in the season 6 trailer are Clarke and Octavia. Clarke in Mount Weather and Octavia in the pit facing off against Blodreina. What I find peculiar about this is that for Clarke I can make sense of it based on the theory above. But Octavia? How does she end up inside her own mind seemingly? It can not be a coincidence that these two are experiencing the same type of face your demon scenario. By off the wall theory is that maybe Gabriel figured out how to master his chip make it like the flame but for red-bloods and maybe just maybe Octavia takes this red-blooded flame and becomes the new Gabriel. (This last part is so far-fetched I really am not sure it will pan out but I wanted to include it anyways)

Cadogen is the Octavia in the story wanting to keep everyone in the bunker under his control and Madi is Becca the one that can save them all

ok so if the flame is going to be used to show Becca’s backstory then I’m okay with getting more of that backstory, but if that was the last flashback of Becca then I don’t see the point in it other than that Madi just knows historical backgrounds of the previous commanders

But if we are not going to find out any more info on why Becca was burned at the stake, then what was that flashback for anyway

I hope we get more info on this because I have been waiting for Becca’s story for so long
