Can Du'Ä change Qadr?
DuāÄā is very important. It can change the Divine decree and relieve distress. It is beneficial with regard to what has been decreed and what has not been decreed.
The Prophet [ļ·ŗ] said:
āNothing can change the Divine decree except duāÄā.
ā¢ [Source: Saheeh al-Jaamiā, (No. 7687)]
So no matter what it is that you desire, so long as you ask AllÄh, He will grant you it. Donāt be a person who says, everything is written and I shouldnāt make Du'Ä. No. Ask AllÄh to grant you whatever makes you happy so long as it is permissible.
And AllÄh knows best.

Oh Allah if this matter is good for my deen, my dunya and my akhirah, grant it to me. If this matter will cause my deen, my dunya or my akhira any harm, take it away from me. Replace it with something better and make my heart content with Your decision.

Pray, then let it go. Donāt try and manipulate or force the outcome. Trust God to open the right doors and close the wrong ones.
