My goal for my final project is to showcase all of the work that I’ve done in one cohesive and accessible site. I hope that my site is visually pleasing, easy to navigate, and a clear representation of my work.
I made the decisions I did regarding the design in my website to follow the principles discussed in class. I made a logo in Photoshop to be a visual representation of my work as a designer. I made the header image a photo that I took at a concert to showcase my photography skills and I made an easy and accessible menu that sums up the content of my website.

Week 10 Homework
The magazine that I designed a cover and center spread for is a music magazine. My cover featured a photo that I took of a band called real friends. This particular issue is dedicated to Real Friends. The article inside is a real article I wrote about a Real Friends concert for Phawker.com.
I chose to keep the background all black because it made sense with the black and white photo I used for the cover. The white text is what showed up best against the background. The guitar on the side of the center spread is to add context.

Week 8 Homework
Snackable Graphic
To make my snackable graphic I decided to eliminate the information about all of the parties except the two largest parties, Democrats and Republicans.
I decided to keep the translucent flag as my background and the dynamic header with PA curved inside an outline of PA.

Infographic Homework
I chose to use information about what parties Pennsylvania residents voted under in the 2016 election. The parties included were Democrats, Republicans, Green Party, Libertarian Party, and other parties.
I chose to use a translucent background of an American flag to tie in the theme of voting for the president. I used the silhouette of Pennsylvania to make the infographic specific to that particular state. The circles seemed like the easiest way to display the information in a cohesive way. I modified the headline to have an arc in Pennsylvania to make it more visually appealing.
