So... we're heading for an era of extreme reactionary backlash.

We shit on rainbow capitalism (as we should), but it is a good indicator of social acceptance of LGBTQ people. When brands are loud and proud about how much the support gay people('s money), it means the social conditions have moved in our favor and the potential backlash is weak.

Right now, the power is shifting back to the fascists. That's bad.

Hi y'all!

For my fellow Americans - remember to keep calling your legislators about KOSA. This act is a mass censorship law. It would require Americans to upload their government IDs to the internet, and restrict all "adult content" (AKA queer, anti-racist, activist work). This is also an INSANE invasion of our privacy - which is silly because the recent tiktok ban was passed under the guise of protecting our data and privacy. KOSA frames itself as a bill that would protect children, but it will do the exact opposite by restricting access to information that could help queer kids.

Also, for my fellow ao3 users - this would restrict access to sites like ao3 because of queer and explicit content.

The FAA package got voted on without KOSA (yay) but the fight is far from over

I BEG you guys to: KEEP THE OPPOSITION UP.

We need to show congress that we are still strongly opposed to KOSA
