I made this thing because I’ve been obsessed with typing kpop idols lately, and a simple google search shows that I have a pretty different opinion from people out there. So, I’m just kinda here to share my perspective as well.

Like my disclaimer says, I am by no means an expert. I will merely state my observations and thus conclusions.

I am an ISTP, I think quite a rare type to be found interested in typology. I know majority of those who dabble in typology are some variant of N types, so it’s natural that we’d come to our conclusions differently. As a Ti-dom, I go by the stand that there is no one true answer to things like personality that cannot be accurately quantified. So, we shouldn’t think that “this person is definitely not xxxx” just because they have a trait that is opposed to typical xxxx’s. I personally don’t feel like the ISTP mold fits me perfectly. I have some tendency to use Fi, but most of the time I still use Ti. Anyway what I mean is that they’re probably not going to be perfect fits to the type descriptions, but we can just make some educated guesses.

One thing though is that I am absolutely terrible with expressing my thoughts in words. Just a heads-up.
