I was discussing Eleven's clothing choices (whether bowties were on the radar when he was being designed or not or if the "everyone hates bowties" thing was made up for the show. That isn't important.) and the topic of pre-release Eleven's outfit came up.
He looks like he's in an emo band. He looks like Edward Cullen's lost brother. I want to see a version of canon where everything is by and large the same, but when he's trying on clothes in the first episode he ends up looking like this.
Same bubbly Eleven personality. Same chipper excitement over finding the right outfit. Same defensiveness over his outfit. I think it would have been enrichment for the Ponds.

I think they should make drowning a recurring theme with the Master. Intentionally, I mean.
We have the Torvic rock murder (where due to the discrepancy between the events and memories of the events, he was both the drowned and the saviour), the, by the audio's standards, foundational moment that made the Master who he is (who the Doctor was supposed to be).
Yana washing up on the coast when he was a child, devoid of memory, or background, or evidence of who he is.
And I know it comes up in at least one other audio.
The association of the drowning with change, not necessarily for the better, could be an interesting connecting theme.

I think the Doctor will make Sexy multiple mecha's. Because the first one is time lord shaped and then she starts asking for more limbs and features, and he gives up and gives her a fucking spider centaur mech. And then a centipede mech. And then a worm. And then a swarm of robot bees. It gets out of hand really fast because he cannot say no to his beautiful wife, and she wants to try out all these cool and fun shapes

Working at the sex shop really did rewire my brain. There was basically no topic that was too taboo to talk about, and what little propriety I’d had evaporated. I’d be out walking and chatting with friends about erotica I’d had to read that day only to be shushed and realize people were staring at me.
It always struck me as a little bit silly but I learned to curb myself for others comfort levels. Mostly.
But I have one distinct memory of decorating holiday cookies with my parents and my grandmother. My mom had worked in a sex shop back in her day, and I never hid my line of work from my family, so I was telling a work story.
I was conscious that my dad was slightly more sensitive, so I was using pretty broad descriptions, but I happened to mention silicone lube (I was telling my horror story) and my nana asked, “What’s that?”
I went into full sales mode. Focused on the little reindeer cookie I was decorating I started info dumping, “Oh, it’s pretty great. Water based lubricants get absorbed through vaginal mucous membranes, but silicone is too dense and our body can’t absorb it the same way. So once you apply some silicone you never have to worry about chafing, and a little goes a long way. It’s especially popular with older women, because they start producing less natural lubricant and absorb water based lubes so quickly.”
There was a silent beat after this statement.
I looked up.
My mom and grandmother were looking at me with rapt attention, and I belatedly realized I was addressing two older women who probably would welcome extra lubrication.
And then there was my dad, blushing so pink with embarrassment that I thought he was about to faint.
“I can talk about something else,” I offered in apology to my dad.
“Like hell! He can go in the other room, tell me more!” My nana declared. My dad scampered off to busy himself in another room while I answered their questions and talked about brands and pricing.
I slipped them each a small bottle of silicone lube for the holidays.

We've seen weirder things, i see no reason a type-40 tardis can't have a mechanical body extension. I mean the main problem with Idris was that being in a human body fucking kills the body, just set up a mechanical one for temporary usage and can be repaired

I love her and he strange relationship with time and space and having a body at all. And immediately wanting to test out things like "making out with the Doctor" and "biting".
Also "why not? Spacey wacey?" "No ots because Time Lords found out if you fold and 11th dimensional matrix into a mechanical--" explosion "--OK FINE YES. SPACEY WACEY." I think the Tardis should get another go at it. I know the episode was another one of those "better to have loved and lost" ones but every Doctor Who story is about that, and the Master's old Tardis turned into a whole woman once anyways.

hear me out. instead of recasting john barrowman they just. have john hart take over his identity for funsies, and no one comments on it, like it's meant to be a recasting. until, post some serious character development (as happens around the doctor), he sacrifices his life and just. stays dead.

I’m gonna be honest I’ve written off “queer media made for straight people” as a thing that exists, especially when talking about major media. I think there was a brief period in fan spaces specifically where there was slash stuff being made by people who didn’t approve of queerness irl but that’s literally not a thing anymore. Anyone who was doing that either found Jesus or is gay now.
