ok I finally finished this project LOL I took a several month break this summer but picked it back up like a month ago and I'm DONE. I was too excited to take the stabilizer off before sharing this, I'll take it off later and post again once I get it in a decorative hoop.
i’m convinced araki doesn’t really think when he writes characters BUT the fact that buccellati wears lingerie, pole dances, is the son of a fisherman, helps old ladies out, has a bob cut, licks people, said nya nya, is loved by everyone in town, has always been so kind that even his mother worried that his kindness will drag him down one day, is cunty naturally, is short, is insane, is petty, has a scene where he’s laying on the floor chopped up into bits and pieces… maybe araki knew what he was doing
On the flipside, a strange nonsensical purgatory made out of past places and memories, awaken the Stands - now equipped with an independence and self-autonomy that most of them are not used to.
The ones whose emotions, goals and spirits they embody; their Users - are curiously nowhere to be found.
The Stands awaken at the same time, no matter whether they've died before the Separation or not. Every version of every Stand (from parts 1-6 that is).
Each Stand sees their User differently - some with undying loyalty, some with dismay and others with a mix of both.
But most settle on one thing - that they need to bring their Users back and return the universe to how it was. So, some set out on a crusade, while others begin cultivating a plan.
And thus we explore the existential horror of being a Stand!
....... this AU is very silly but just uhh-- bear with me- let me cook-
SPOILERS: What if after Wes lost his memory, he essentially went into a coma and it's actually his stand puppeting his body throughout SO, becoming more and more sentient.
Weather report sentient stand just like Whitesnake? Kinda like FF? Eh, anyone?
