I am now 1 year 4 months and 5 days on testosterone
The changes I've experienced have started to be more consistent (i.e. body/facial hair, slightly deeper voice ect.)
I'm thinking about getting top surgery sometime soon but idk how to go about that lmao

I am 8 months and 5 days on testosterone
My voice is waaaaay deeper and I got gendered correctly over the phone for the first time
And I got gendered correctly by a doctor when I went to visit my best friend/fiance in the hospital (they're fine)
My ass is too dummy thick and won't fit in a lot of my pants anymore so I have to buy new pants
I haven't had my period in 5 months and I have sideburns now, my shitty mustache has not gotten less shitty but I like the vibe
For some reason the price of my needles went up and now are $16 in all which isn't bad but it annoys my dad because he has to pick it up
I finally started testosterone on January 12 2020
I'm currently 1 month and 11 days on T and I have noticed a couple changes with my body
TMI warning
The thing that happened to me first was that I started breaking out, mostly on my back and face, I have now started to need to bathe every day due to being a greasy fuck, I'm like constantly sweaty, my face is dry a lot for some reason?? My body hair is subtly getting darker, my periods now last 4-5 days which is lit but cramps are 10x more painful and I've also noticed recently mild growth in the groin area
My voice has yet to change
Before I started testosterone I'm assuming that I had normal estrogen levels for an afab person and I don't expect noticable changes until at least my third month on testosterone
I went through the planned Parenthood in my town to get my testosterone prescription, my insurance covers my testosterone but doesn't cover the needles I need for my injections but in all those cost about $5

I am now currently 4 months and 17 days on testosterone
My voice has started dropping and my period is currently late, idk if I've officially stopped having periods or something but I'm honestly relieved either way
I have a lot more body hair and subtle facial hair
My shoulders are broader and I have gained 20 pounds, a lot of it muscle. I now can't fit my original gc2b binder which was a large so I have to wear XL now
Last month I got to double my dosage and around 6 months I get another appointment to check my testosterone levels, assuming the quarantine would be over by then
I finally started testosterone on January 12 2020

hiya! I figured id make an informational post about the little things ive noticed about being on testosterone that I found weren’t talked about a lot when I was starting my transition and even before when I was doing my research. I think that trans sexual health is an extremely important part of trans peoples lives (and that doesnt necessarily mean sex) seeing as the physical changes that happen during transition are often foreign to us. Sexual health keeps us healthy and comfortable in our bodies, so do your best to stay attentive to your body’s changes! As always, consult your doctor if you feel the need to. These are only tips ive learned from transitioning myself and from my doctor when I asked about certain things.

it’s so hard for cis people to grasp the concept that… trans people aren’t looking for your approval. like we literally don’t need you to accept us. it’s not about you. we don’t need cis people to validate us or believe us or feel for us. our world doesn’t revolve around cis people, as hard as that may be for cis people to understand. we’re not political statements or an opinion to have or points to be made. like your opinion about my identity, your understanding or lack thereof is not my problem. cishet people have this jarring tendency to make the lives of lgbt people ABOUT them. but it’s really, really not. we want to be left alone to lead our normal lives, free of people treating us like commodities or Q&As or things to hate or admire.
