Hi, I love your art and your lineart is obviously incredible!!! I know this has probably been asked a million times before, but Iām curious, what program do you use and what brush do you use for lines?
hey !!! thank you !!
my method has been the same for a long time now, I use the free program Krita and generally utilise two brushes, one for inking (ink-1 precision) and one for colour/a touch of texture (ink-8 sumi-e).
for highlights and glow I add screentones as well!

It takes a pole dance lessons at anpole focused dance studio! Mhmm, its def built up lots of muscles and has become much more comfortable in very little clothing (clothes arent pole friendly so the less the better when youre learning).
It loves the studio it goes too, and all the folxs who work and learn there. Its a great first step in its aerial arts journey š

Yooo, that picture with Donnie and Leo hugging is awesome and heartwarming :0 But I've a question. How did you do that sparkly scale texture on their skin? It looks so pretty!

A lot of the time, its a mixture of trying different brushes for textures, flipping through layer filters and colours. I'll try and show my process, but apologies if its not so clear! (Also just so u know, I use CSP! :])
I try to find a speckle-like brush! This one is called "Wall Tzu SP hard" which is from a brush pack i bought from PharanBrush, but you can use any sort of speckle brush, i just like this one especially (good for freckles, too!)
I used a really bright blue and dappled in the areas that I wanted the sparkles to show.
Set the layer to glow dodge (sometimes colour dodge is good too!) and lower the opacity (I put it to 48% but again, you can play about with this at any stage)
Next, I pretty much do the same in a new layer below the last, but used the darker colour of the base skin and faintly go in similar spots as before. I set that layer to multiply and lower the opacity to anything between 20% and 40%.
I just think it kinda defines the shinies a bit more!
In a similar colour to the blue I used for the sparkles, I lightly use airbrush on a new layer. Kinda helps with the form and make him more shiny. (I keep this on 100% opacity because I am very light-handed with it, but you can lower it if need be)
And lastly, if you want more texture and you have a dot grid tone brush, make a new layer and colour pick random parts of the shiny areas. I don't really know how to explain this, I just do whatever til it looks good PFF! (Might be a less is more scenario)
annnd yeah! :D This is just how I did these specific textures, its lots of layering and tbh you can add even more with different opacity. You also don't need to use the exact same colours as me, I usually try different hues to figure out what looks best, literally go ham!

Hey!! I just wanna say I love ur Raph au so much!! What was ur design process for his outfit? Like with inspo or references, it's so beautifully drawn!!
oof ok i am gonna do my best not to start ranting here lol
I knew from the beginning what kinda vibe i wanted for his outfit, and knew I'd need to include some kind of red in the color scheme. A huge inspiration came from another AU, actually! Mutant Ninja Midlife Crisis gave their Future!Leo a really cool Battle Nexus outfit that I wanted to kinda emulate but not straight up copy (I'm still worried it's too similar ngl). The main element I liked was the way they described the flowiness and design details, and if you look it up on tumblr there's a bunch of interpretations that people have drawn him in
these were my first two designs where I was just playing with colors and specific elements. I basically took the color scheme/inner shirt of the first, the arm wrappings/vibe of the second's red highlights, and mashed the two together until I got the final product!
And of course the cloud details came later, which were inspired by the Chinese/Japanese (is it both? i'm not sure) style of drawing clouds but simplified a bit.
Another inspiration came from looking up traditional samurai uniforms (ones without their armor), but that had minimal influence (I used that inspiration way more for the rest of the Hamatos when I designed their own Raph-inspired fits)

i love all the separated aus in rottmnt and wanted to make my own for raph where heās a battle nexus champion and just a bit unhinged (while i love the og sweet, caring, overprotective raph, i think he deserves to be a little feral sometimes. as a treat)
