it wasn’t extremely late, only like 1 am. romilda was a bit of an insomniac, so she often spent her nights wandering around the castle. it gave her a rush, and she couldn’t get enough. tonight wasn’t going to be any different, until she ran into someone in one of the corridors. “hey, do you wanna join?” she nodded in the direction of an open classroom. “i was hoping to practice some defense against the dark arts stuff, or we could just chill. or we could keep exploring, whatever you want. live a little.” she smiled.

running into a prefect - especially a gryffindor prefect - would normally be a bad sign. except apparently this year they had made another choice to have a wild child prefect. what were the professors thinking would happen? “not particularly, but i could use a good chat.” they paused to consider their options for a few moments before nodding. “very well - lets chat and explore, might as well.”

Ginny Weasley had been on the grounds of Hogwarts not one minute before threatening someone with her signature hex. Currently, her wand was pointed squarely at the chest of some idiot who had spent most of the walk to the castle pestering her about the events at the Department of Mysteries. “How many times do I have to tell you that it’s none of your bloody business? Or would you rather I get some bats to do it for you?” Ginny turned away and began walking in the direction of the castle, only stopping to give one bystander some pointed words. “Can I help you?”

To say that Tracey was unimpressed with the youngest Weasley’s behavior would have been an understatement - but it would also imply that they cared a little more than they did. They were merely wanting to get into the castle without falling the victim of a stray hex. “Weasley, there is very little that you could do that I couldn’t do myself, so I assure you I don’t need your help.” A snide tone tinted their voice and they hated that they sounded a little like Malfoy in that moment.

╰ ⋅ ˚ ✷ ariana grande. nineteen. demigirl. they/them. ↷ well, if it isn’t CICI piling out of the hogwarts express ! that’s TRACIUS DAVIS, that is — a SIXTH YEAR from SLYTHERIN, their best subject is ARITHMANCY, and rumour has it that they spent last summer SHOPPING IN PARIS. it’s pretty common knowledge that THEY LIKE SLEEPING IN THE SUN, THEY COLOR CODE ALL OF THEIR NOTES, THEIR MOTHER IS A SEER, and they’ve always reminded me of pine needles, leather-bound journals & bubbling cauldrons in the moonlight. ( loved by cam, 21, he/him, est. )

hey, it’s ya boy cam the canadian hot mess - newly certified! i’ll be bringing you tracius who you may refer to as either cici or tracey ( either works fine ) and victoria edwards ( whose intro will be up shortly, i promise ) - along with more characters potentially in the future. i’ll be doing the following format as a forewarning: main bio / info, extra fun facts and wanted connections / plots. hope you enjoy!

main info:

born to a parisian pureblood witch and a british muggleborn wizard, by the time that tracius knew how to walk they were perfectly comfortable switching between worlds. magic existed regardless of where they were even as their behaviour radically changed, and they knew that they always had their parents love. although that love didn’t always extend to those that their mother’s family associated with, for reasons that weren’t clear to them until they were older.

going to hogwarts was a massive change, and the young wix found themselves homesick as they longed for the streets that were familiar to them. slytherin house was bareable, but only just - especially once people started to realize that they weren’t actually a pureblood. but tracius powered through, refusing to let the others deny them thier heritage - and certainly not agreeing with the blatantly biased views.

they’re one of few that decided to take divination as a NEWT subject, well versed in the realities of the subject even if the teacher did seem like a bit of a loon - not that they would say so to trellawney’s face. and besides, more NEWTS isn’t a bad thing for anyone with ambition.

fun facts:

has a cat named chèvre because fourteen year old cici thought it would be hilarious to name the cat, goat.

was a hatstall and almost went to ravenclaw - would have liked that house better and is slightly bitter that they’re in slytherin

wants to find a way to put a trunk inside of the expanded space of their trunk and still be able to open it without having to take it out.

wanted connections:

unlikely friends: tracius spends most of their time doing one of two things: studying or gossiping - an odd combination. nobody would ever expected them to get along with this person and yet they get along extremely well.

best friends ( 3 ): these are the bread and butter of what makes hogwarts home for cici - while learning makes it a school, these three remind them of the little wonders of life and they genuinely enjoy their company. ( most likely slytherins or ravenclaws )

enemies: despite being a mostly good person - they definitely try to blend in with the crowd in their house and so people might assume that they’re a blood purist or they might know that they’re not - or mayhaps our characters are rivals in class

romance: tracius loves women - but it’s 90s and their family isn’t the most accepting of that fact all of the time and so they’ve definitely dated guys and girls alike as a result.
