Let’s be clear about one thing: the one reason Disney and KK are trying to erase Cara Dune from history is not because of “woke” politics, but because they want people to forget there is one woman in Hollywood who was bullied by them and straight up refused to kneel before their tyranny. They want people to forget this because if one can do that, everyone can, and that is exactly what every totalitarian regime fears most.

Is anyone else starting to feel like maybe Lucasfilms is letting Kathleen Kennedy destroy as much as she can so that when it comes time to renew her contract they can pull out their list of grievances and be like “Welp, here’s the thing...”

No? Just me? I dunno. The thought has kind of been floating around in my mind since the latest Doomcock video and with the cancellation of the Cara Dune Funko Pop! it’s starting to feel like they’re just letting her shoot herself in the foot.

I’ve had several people tell me how much Cara Dune reminds them of me and from the get go it was really flattering and humbling because Gina is GORGEOUS. I don’t know if it was because my hair was all fluffed out after taking it out of Cara’s style last night but I finally see a little bit of a resemblance <3 Gina’s still much prettier and she’s definitely got nicer lips than me haha.

Exactly. I’ve been weighing the pros in cons in my head since the thought first popped into my mind when I first decided to don the Dune armor. The first concerns were all the normal thoughts, like what family and friends would think and what people at my job might say but at the end of the day, it’s my life and I’m the one that has to wear it, not anyone else.

I’ve been thinking seriously about making a piece of Cara a part of me— permanently. I already have a small collection of tattoos dedicated to the things I love and Cara’s arm tattoo wouldn’t necessarily be out of place on me. I also plan to cosplay Cara for a VERY long time to come— so having this would also alleviate the need for temp tattoos (which could potentially rub off at cons). Tell me I’m not being impulsive? lol :’D
