Hey I'm filling out the application and I've never signed up to be in a zine before so I'm not totally sure what to classify myself as I mostly do single illustrations.

What is a page artist and what is a spread artist? I think I understand comic artist and writer pretty the well. It's just these two terms I don't quite get.

Hey, no worries! Everyone starts somewhere! So, you know in comics where an illustration spans over two pages in one cohesive piece? That's what's considered a spread, basically it's making one large image that will fill two pages A page artist is someone who makes a piece that fills out one page alone. They can ask for multiple slots, but each piece will be different. I hope that helped provide some clarity!

Heck yeah! I'm so glad you're excited for this zine~! We've gotten a pretty good number of responses, so I believe we're doing pretty well~! Unfortunately, I don't have the energy to maintain an Instagram on top of a Twitter and a Tumblr, but you're more than welcome to post an announcement on your account pointing to here or the Twitter account so people can have a chance to apply if interested! Oooooh I’m so excited for this, when I was a kid Manic was hands down my favorite Sonic character and he still holds a special place in my heart

I'm so glad to hear that you're excited for the project~ It's something I really wanted to see, but no one else was making it so I figured why not host one? Manic's been my favorite Sonic character since I was young~ The moment I saw him, he stole my heart lol So yeah, I'm so eager to make this a reality and I'm so excited for what contributors will put forward!
