Guide to GARO: Pachinko 16: P GARO 11 ~Saejima Taiga~

For the second time, GARO featured a wholly new Pachinko Machine, one for used on Saejima Taiga, as portrayed by the late, great, Watanabe Hiroyuki.

The Machine's original story tells of an unknown battle that brought Taiga against Parude, a powerful Horror known as Messiah's Sound.

The Enemies from the recent original battles returns here as allies, each granting enhanced attacks They are Qilin, from CR GARO GOLDSTORM Sho, Suzaku from P GARO Saejima Kouga, Byakko from P GARO Gekkou no Tabobito, and Seiryu from P GARO KAMINOKIBA. They are listed as being stronger in reverse debut order.

The 4 deities together grant this Machine's exclusive form, a variant of Shinmetsu Jushin GARO.

Mini characters of Gonza, Rin, Amon and Zaruba appear, with Taiga training, Rin performing spells, Gonza serging tea and Amon crafting.

Original battles are against Temudan, Sisura, Dairasu, Guraiken, with the Amemiya battle continuing the theme with Genbu.

Forced Allyship

New Generation Stars: Yuka is struggling with reimbursement paperwork, feeling overwhelmed with Hebikura and Haruki gone, and Ediom offers to show her things about Juggler she doesn't know already, while clarifying dismissing him as a past villain is oversimplifying. He shows her what he was doing during the second Barossa Seijin attack, Yuka despite his actions cannot think badly of Hebikura. Yuka decides to ask about Beliarok, having seen Belial in the records Ediom showed, and realises the connection to Geed, Ediom showing Geed's first battle with his father, then shows another example of an evil ultra, with Tregear's murder of King Guesra, and an evil that is a match for the Ultras, showing Dark Zagi (SD) battle Jean-nine and Ginga. When Ediom mentions Dark Zagi was the result of an attempt to replicate Ultras, Yuka is given pause, before turning her attention to continuing with the Sevengar. As Ginga's data is added to the STORAGE Key, Ediom was to remind her she's meant to doing paperwork.

Gotchard: Clotho rages, desperate for greater strength, but is dismissed by Atropos, who tells her she can't use Type:Three and that she's now as useless as their brothers. In the World of Legend, Butler tries to inform Kaguya of finishing work on the Legend Kamen Riser, but gets no response, and an Aurora Curtain appears, out of which steps a squad of Hundred's Kasshin lead by Alpha, seeking to claim the Riser, but of its own accord it travels through the Aurora Curtain, the Kasshin pursuing. Gotchard defeats a Chemie and recovers AkumaNocaris, while Renge and Sabimaru restrain the host when he tries to keep attacking. Spanner brings Lachesis to the Academy at Rinne's request, while Clotho ambushes Hotaro on the way back, when he asks why she's still fighting with Greyon gone she can't answer, but things are interrupted by the appearance of the Kasshin squad. Hotaro only vaguely recalls the Kasshin from the previous events, even as Alpha identifies him as Gotchard, and is forced to fight them, Clotho also is beset and attempts to transform again unsuccessfully, before something watching makes Hotaro, Clotho and the Kasshin vanish, Hotaro awakens in an empty space with a mysterious door. Rinne asks Lachesis about Atropos, feeling unable to leave her be, Lachesis thinks she's being foolish, they're dolls, inhuman, Atropos moreso, but Kyouka suggests they could become properly human, and for that purpose aggressively requests to study Lachesis. Lost in a bizarre maze, Ichinose stumbles on Clotho, who is injured from the failed henshin despite trying to put on a strong front, and he instinctively tries to help her when a group of Kasshin find them and attack, after both try fighting, when the next door appears he makes sure to drag her with him. Lachesis cannot recall her creation, but knows she is the youngest sister, Minato and Kyouka conclude they are Homunculi. When safe, Ichinose tries to help Clotho, who is annoyed at his concern for her and the fact this isn't even the first time he saved her, once saving her from Dread overloading her, but he can't look the other way, and tries to ask what her goal is, while her thoughts turn to her sisters she denies having one. The Kasshin catch up, complaining of being trapped there, and seek to eliminate Gotchard as one of "his" allies, Alpha leading them to attack. Gotchard GoldMechanic fights them, then switches to Super Gotchard UFO-X, and convinces Clotho that, the rest can wait, but they need to work together now. Spanner and Rinne arrive where Sabimaru and Renge saw Hotaro vanish, Minato can sense the labyrinth entrance nearby. Kasshin keep coming for the pair, and Gotchard reverts to normal shielding Clotho. When Alpha mocks her as holding him back, she decides she's had enough of people looking down on her, and will fight how she wants, discarding "duty" and becomes Dread Type:Two, trashing the Kasshin. Alpha tries to flee, but Platinum Gotchard traps him using AkumaNocaris and then uses KaryuDos and KaiserBee to finish him alongside Dread, breaking the labyrinth. Alpha's body collapses, leaving a device behind. Hotaro again asks Clotho to stop the fighting, but she claims she was just using him to escape, but before she can leave both are subject to intense gravity, and Atropos presents the Abyssal King, who grants Clotho her desire for escaping his labyrinth, transforming her into a monstrous form before they all leave, the others only find Hotaro when they catch up. 3 Hundred executives arrive, signalled by the device Alpha left, and aim to acquire the Weapon, and eliminate Gotchard.

Boonboomger: Another chase sees the 3 junior members getting competitive, Chassiro tests the Boonboom Offroad Ghost to get past them, prompting Taiya to test Boonboom Racing's thruster, winning the speed test but crashing after. Mad Rex is overheating with frustration at the disruption of their plans, and partly fearing Wild Spinder's wrath, orders the others to bring him BunRed. Boonboom Racing put a huge strain on Taiya, and there's discussion of Genba's procurement skills. Saibu comes by, and questions Genba deciding to join the team. While she wanted to gift Bundario a Gabora CD, he is absent, and also wants to discuss weapon improvement, confusing Genba, as he knows the Boomboomgers were created for the BBG. Realising Taiya never told Mira and Jou, let alone Saibu, his actual dream, Chassiro and Genba are forced to explain Taiya was creating everything for the sake of creating the Big Bang Grand Prix, an interplanetary race, it's just happened to be useful for the Hashiliens. With Jou, Mira and Saibu now all questioning Taiya's motives, before he can explain they're alerted to the Hashiliens. Foregoing the Kurumaju, Dekotread and Itashar are having the Nejiraiders cause chaos on their own, Yarucar gulping the Gyasoline without going wild. With Taiya slowed down thanks to his injury, the others are lured by Dekotread and Itashar to a warehouse, Chassiro realises the trap too late to stop Mira springing it, and they get tapped in a cage, as do Jou and Genba, but as Taiya points out, Itashar and Dekotread have gotten themselves trapped as well. Trying to Boonboom Change just gets everyone on a cage zapped. Taiya can't free anyone yet, as Mad Rex is there for him. As Mad Rex and BunRed fight, Mad Rex declares them kindred spirits, both seeking someone who can get there engine running, and tries to recruit him, Taiya essentially agrees if Mad Rex can defeat him, to Mira and Jou's horror. After an intense battle Taiya wins, and Mad Rex, annoyed, forces all the Gyasoline out of Yarucar so he can grow giant, in the process destroying the warehouse and the cages. Despite their current reservations, Jou points out to Mira they need to fight right now, so the two pilot the left arm vehicle, with Chassiro and Genba in the right, as Boonboomger Robo Police forms. Unfortunately, Mad Rex outspeeds it easily, and Boonboomger Robo Builder fairs no better. They try to switch to Boonboomger Robo, but Mad Rex trashes Boonboom Wagon before it attaches, leaving Mira and Jou on the ground and Genba tries to substitute with Boomboom Classic, but as soon as it equips Mad Rex forces it off and destroys the Driver from Boonboom Offroad. Mira and Jou try and get them to retreat, and even Chassiro and Genba try to dissuade him, but he uses Boonboom Offroad Ghost to successfully form Boonboomger Robo Puncher, but the untested Boonboom Car causes feedback that forces Genba and Chassiro out. The cross counter ends with Taiya badly injured, and Mad Rex forced to retreat. Mira tries to question Taiya both on pushing himself and risking their lives, before he can offer any explanation he collapses.

Romeo & Juliet

New Generation Stars: Yuka is somewhat apprehensive over the thought things like Yapool will never be defeated. Ediom opts to show her the time Xio's Tachibana became Ultraman Nexus, allowing her to better understand the bond those touched by the light share, and she feels reassured, joking a little with Ediom about him cheering her up.

Gotchard: Rinne tries to get up to aid Gotchard, only to be reminded it's her fault Seina is dead, but with encouragement from Minato she uses MoonCerberus, and uses TheSun to melt the ice, and with Platinum Gotchard channeling InPhoenix defeats the Malgam and claims BlizzaMoth, and Minato points out that they're going to be more dangerous in their zeal to avenge Greyon. Kyouka treats Lachesis to dinner, though she has no need for it. Kyouka asks about the entity that appeared from the Door to Darkness, Lachesis doesn't know much but suspects it was the Abyssal King. With Seina absent, Rinne fills in as Juliet for practice, only for her to turn up and accuse Rinne of stealing her role, and runs off when Hotaro explains Rinne knows her lines because she was helping him learn his. Ichinose finds her and explains he has a dream and needs Kudoh and Seina sighs because she recalls how he saved her from her troubles in youth, and admits her own jealousy of seeing how close the two of them are. Atropos sees a vision of Greyon ordering her to avenge him, and from where her image of him is stood, a new Malgam base form appears. The Kraken Malgam attacks, Spanner is the first on scene, but it subjects him to an illusion, making him see it as Kyouka, and while he recognises the truth he still isn't able to attack her, and so is defeated, and then spirited away before he can warn Ichinose and Kudoh. Seina witness the two become Gotchard and Majade, then become trapped in the same illusion. After a struggle between their allies looking like the Malgam and the Malgam looking like their friend, before Rinne has an idea, based on Romeo & Juliet's later act, and tells Ichinose to attack her. He does so, and Majade falls dead, Atropos even disappointed. The illusion fades, and Gotchard is shocked and unable to react to the Malgam attacking. Fortunately, he is hit by a YoaCerberus powered slash from thr GotchaXCaliber, as Majade had used NemineMoon to hide TheSun's power. Platinum Gotchard and Majade unite against the Malgam, Seina witnessing, and a little sad at, their combination, and they defeat the Malgam, Ichinose secures MacKraken, and Kudoh and Seina make peace before Minato arrives to erase Seina's memories. At the day of the performance, Rinne is Juliet, Seina having decided to ask her to do it, even if she isn't sure why, and the performance succeeds in recruiting 15 new members to the Drama Club. Spanner is annoyed by Lachesis returning to the Academy, not caring to protect her, but Lachesis has her own protection now, Kyouka providing her own Valvarusher, Lachesis looks forward to working with her doggie.

Boonboomger: Bunboom is melancholy, enough to be distracted from his curry. Jou and Mira ask what's up, Mira offhandedly ask if his trouble is romantic, only for everybody to be stunned when he says it is. It turns out he has become taken with Nimajii Tires mascot Belora, insisting it is more than just being a fan. Mira and Jou decides to deliver him to her event, disguising him on oversized clothing, while Taiya has something to do. Mad Rex is fondly recalling his battle with with BunRed, but still chews out the Hashiliens before his dog identifies a brick wall as a good Kurumajin, having them use it to gather Gyasoline while he challenged the Boomboomgers. Genba completes another job when Taiya and Chassiro meet him, offering again the Boonboom Change Axe, from not the first time he turns them down, only interested in procurement and watching but Taiya wonders how long he can keep up with the action without being part of it. Mira and Jou report the Kurumaju, which is blocking off people from things they want or need. BunBlack and BunPink challenge it, but get trapped, but before Genba can render assistance BunRed and BunBlue arrive, and even when Mad Rex arrives they're able to move around solutions before Genba can help, he decides Taiya has made his point, and steps out after everyone has been knocked down. His delivery this time is himself, the accelerant they need to stay ahead, joining Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger as BunOrange. As the battle resumes, as BunRed manages to damage Mad Rex, who leaves explosively, BunOrange tears apart the Kurumaju. Yarucar does it's thing with the Gyasoline, and with a new set of Boonboom Cars they pursue, Genba in Boonboom Shovel, Mira and Jou in Boonboom Dozer, and Taiya and Chassiro in Boonboom Trailer. After the chase, Boonboomger Robo Builder forms to take down the giant wall and defeat the Kurumaju. With Genba at the base, Mira gives Boonboom a Belora plush she managed to get, and Genba seems enthused by as well.

SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon were both reedited as compilation movies, accompanied by a new post-credit scene leading into the movie, and a new Voice Drama set at the end of the years.

Gridman Universe saw the 2 series brought together a year later.

A Voice Drama came out alongside the movie, with a couple more with the blu-ray. Each featured the cast of both series able to easily meet up.

2 live shows promoted the movie, one starring Dynazenon, Gridman helped him against Alexis. The other starred Gridman against Alexis and Gagula, but when Dynazenon and Gridknight arrive Alexis overcomes them by stealing cheers, until they regains them, Gridman wields the Gridman Calibur as Gridknight wields the Gridknight Calibur, and then Gridman uses the Dynamic Cannon while Gridknight uses both Caliburs to defeat Alexis.

Mizusawa Yume and bun150 together produced the novelisation, with some additional scenes added to the narrative, such as showcasing Gridknight's various forms.

Mizusawa Yume also penned a new story for the Super Complete Works, Things Continue, which took place before any actual crossover, which saw various items from Tsutsijidai wind up in Fujiyokidai due to lingering regrets, but the issue is resolved.

The first Gridman, Dynazenon collaboration was the Azur Lane collaboration, World-Spanning Arclight. The initial event featured Rikka (embodying Gridman), Yume (embodying Dynazenon), Akane (embodying Alexis Kerib), Chise (embodying Goldburn), Mujina (embodying Gagula), Namiko (embodying Gridman Calibur and Battle Tractor Max) and Hass (Embodying Buster Borr and Sky Vittor). A repeat after Gridman Universe added Nidaime (embodying Sounderous) and Hime (embodying Dynazenon)

SSSS.Junction XD was the final Symphogear XD collab, Alongside Gridman empowering Hibiki and Gridknight empowering Tsubasa, it featured Chris supported by Alexis. Rex and the NGJHs appeared as well.

A set of Wireless headphones from Aviot was released as a collaboration, it included voice lines from Rikka, Akane, Yume, Chise, Borr and Nidaime, later lines were added from Gridman, Yuta, Utsumi, Knight, Rex, Yomogi and Koyomi.

The World of 5000 Years Ago saw Rex, Knight and Nidaime track Alexis Kerib to 5000 years ago using Sounderous to cross time. There they witness Hime and Namika, Hime is currently being courted by Alexia Kekebab, until his rudeness causes Namika to snap at him, angering him into revealing himself as Alexis Kerib, Dynazenon and Gridknight challenge him, but after a seeming victory, Alexis reveals he ahs already the ancient civilisations' ultimate weapon, the Dynamic Cannon, and uses Dynamic Alexis Fire to defeat Gridknight. Dynazenon despairs until Hime recognises Gauma's voice, and while he denies it, her recognising him and her feelings encourage him, channeling other historic women of legend as he fights Alexis, who is stabbed from behind by Gridknight with his own swords. While Nidaime readies the Fixer Beam, Dynazenon and Hime talk, and when she makes clear she can tell he is the Gauma she loves, he decides to confess his love, knowing she'll forget once the Fixer Beam is finished.

Both Sides, Now saw the Gridman Alliance, Rikka Mama, Hass, Gauma Team, Akane and Gridman come together to try and solve the mystery of Utsumi's disappearance. I didn't hear a specific moment their relationship is clearly mentioned, but Hass' emotional state would seem to mean it is now revealed to the others. To try and help find him Akane provides an artificial human modified for a Decker footsoldier, as the Dyna version was modified from Khan Digifer's soldiers), but when Yomogi uses Instance Domination the AI possesses him. Yuta and Gridman try to free him, but the robot is more than a march and summons it's master, Mad Origin. Gridman is defeated, until Utsumi's voice rings out, and encourages the audience to cheer for Gridman. With a combined shout of the Access Code: Gridman, Denkou Chojin and Primal Fighter appear to backup Universe Fighter, and a combined Fixer Beam allows them to destroy the robot and free Yomogi. With just Mad Origin left, Gridknight and Dynazenon arrive from the previous story to help defeat Mad Origin, who is defeated by a Tri-Grid Finish. Everyone gradually leaves until it is just Akane and Gridman. For really the first time she greets him, talks about how she used to hate the Kaiju losing to the heroes but now thanks to her friends she understands. Gridman tells her he considers her a friend too. After however long it's been, Akane properly thanks Gridman for saving her, and they walk off stage hand in hand.

So far yet to feature in fiction, the blu-ray package exclusives included Shadowburn, Big Goldburn (Next Mission Ver.) and Gridman Universe Fighter (Next Mission Ver.)

Gridman Universe: Complete Breakdown

At time of writing, the Gridman Universe Show is about to happen, and if nothing major is announced, we may be putting a cap on the Gridman Universe for now. This isn't going to be fully comprehensive, but I do want to share info on the things that are harder to find.

Denkou Chojin Gridman, aka Gridman the Hyper Agent, was a 1993 Tokusatsu series by Tsuburaya based on toy concepts by Takara. A Hyper Agent joins with a group of youths for help to defeat an other dimensional criminal, and they are responsible for both his form and his Assist Weapons.

Followed the next year by a photo sorry, Demon King's Counterattack, which introduced Gridman Sigma to help fight a new threat, and introduced a couple more form variations.

In 2015, Trigger gave us the short boys invent great hero, part retelling of the show and part reimagining of Demon King's Counterattack. But more important, is what it lead to.

The romantic alchemist

New Generation Stars: Yuka has taken an interest in Yapool, whose hatred for the Ultras has traveled across dimensions, after Ediom showed her him before, Ediom points out she has fought him previously, showing the battle of Z and Ace against Barabas. Now aware he appeared both in her universe and Trigger's, she asks if he's appeared elsewhere, Ediom shows her Victory, Ginga Hikari, Ace and the Leo Brothers fighting Yapool's scheme with the Victorium, and then shows another example, besides Barabas, of Yapool's grudge against the Ultra living on beyond him, first with Victory Killer, then with Ace Killer (BS), one of the robots controlled by Beatstat against Ultimate Force Zero, alongside King Joe (BS) and Imperiliser (BS), followed by Fukuide Kei using Ace Killer to become Thunder Killer. Geed data is added to the STORAGE Key, and as it is discussed that Yapool will always return as long as it's grudge continues, Yuka contemplates the horror of one battle that will never end.

Gotchard: 3rd year has started, Ishinose, Kudoh, and Kajiki are all in the same class, as Minato introduces transfer student Tsukumo Seina, who did know Hotaro in childhood, and feels their reunion must be fate, Kudoh and Kajiki both shocked by her boldness. Kajiki, having experienced love thanks to meeting and staying in contact with Hijiri, tries to encourage Hotaro to pursue her, Kudoh attempts to join the conversation, only to hold back when Seina interrupts. Atropos and her brothers seek revenge for Greyon, and she forcibly combines several brothers together. Suzuki and Takahashi of the Comedy Club present their club promo, and the drama club will be next. Seina hangs back from going to Ichinose when she sees him talking with Kudoh. Mikuriya's pitch suddenly turns desperate, and later he explains that while his dream is to put on Romeo and Juliet, if they can't find 5 members the club will close, Ichinose volunteers himself, Kajiki and Kudoh, and after Mikuriya suggests Hotaro be Romeo, Seina suddenly enters to volunteers as Juliet. Minato enters the Academy to find Kyouka and her new assistant, Lachesis, who is grateful they defeated Greyon. Clotho, attacking is less thankful, demanding Lachesis return and saying she's convinced Atropos to forgive her, but Lachesis knows, as Atropos is different from them, she will not. Accusing Minato and Kyouka of poisoning Lachesis' mind, Clotho becomes Dread: Type Three, fortunately Valvarad is there to fight, not for Lachesis but his mentors, but Clotho is impacted more by not being able to resist the triple transmutation, and is even defeated because of it. Spanner is ready to kill Clotho, but Lachesis stands in the way and insists he not treat them as monsters, and Minato has to use an escape technique before Spanner seriously considers killing Lachesis. To make up the club numbers, non-high schoolers Sabimaru and Renge are also recruited. After Mikuriya explains the plot, Hotaro's mother naturally assumes Kudoh will be Juliet, but then Seina arrives, and brings up with her her childhood promise to help Hotaro's bride some day, insisting that is still her goal, though she claims it is a joke. Renge and Sabimaru can see the power of this combination, and Kudoh, her heart hurting, leaves. Atropos, considering her captive Chemies, use BlizzaMoth to turn her combined brothers into a Malgam. Kudoh sits alone, trying to process her feelings, when Seina approaches, wanting to clear the air, by asking if she is dating Hotaro, having spotted their matching rings and learnt from classmates that they hang out alot. Kudoh confirms they aren't dating, delivering Seina, but Atropos appears, mocks Kudoh for going back to her old unconfident self, and presents her Malgam. Kudoh has Seina run but Atropos chains her, saying she'll kill her for being in Rinne's way. Rinne denies it, only to realise she recall is jealous, and seeing this Seina believes she wanted this before being frozen. Atropos aims to kill Rinne to, who fights as Madjade as she recalls all her bottled up feelings of the past days, making her struggle to fight. Ichinose arrives and becomes Platinum Gotchard, using BurningNero and FlayRose to resist the freezing, but also is shaken by seeing Seina. Rinne is defeated, and Atropos prepared to avenge Greyon, her father, causing Rinne to realise just how similar they are, as Gotchard is frozen in places Kudoh truly believes this is her fault.

Boonboomger: Chassiro, suspicious of Jou's dedication to his work, decides to follow him to confirm his intentions, Mira insists on tagging along. At ISA, Taiya gives Saibu a program Boonboom cooked up to track incoming aliens, only for one to turn up immediately. The Hashiliens spot it and, thinking it a shooting star, pray for Gyasoline, only for it to turn out to be their commander, Mad Rex. Chassiro is continuing his surveillance on Jou's day off, greeted by people thankful for his help, and even turns in a lost join he finds on the ground at the station. Mad Rex follows a dog nose on him to a toilet and, while hearing his subordinates, turns it into a Kurumajin. Taiya was already going to the meteor impact, but instead sees Gyasoline collection, the Kurumajin splashes people who admit their sad truths. When BunRed arrives Mad Rex fights him, leaving the others to fight the Kurumajin after it causes people to start arguing, though Chassiro hopes to use it to make Jou spill his truths. Taiya continues fighting Mad Rex, as Genba watches. Jou gets splashed to defend Mira, but continues to fight for the people, to Chassiro's shock, when he is then hit, he earnestly apologises to Jou, and they continue the fight with renewed vigour, defeating the Kurumajin. With Yarucar rampaging, Chassiro, still affected, admits that of the 3 of them Mira is thr most suited to drive Bundario. After tricking Yarucar off the road, Boonboomger Robo Police fights the Kurumaju. Mad Red unleashes his finisher, but Genba provides Taiya a means to counter last second, leading the attack to stalemate. The Kurumaju is defeated, ending the spell, and Mad Rex leaves to walk his dog, but acknowledges BunRed while leaving.

Geats Extra: Gazer: Niram is recreated in the future and greeted by Ziin, but his memories need to reinitialise. With Samas by his side, for his first DGP as Producer he decided to go to 1500AD Japan, feeling the Sengoku Era will be the perfect backdrop. They enlist sponsors, choose a Game Master, identify the audience's chosen Riders, and meet ling serving navigator Miiru. Miiru takes Niram out to experience Reality, and he eats for the first time, gaining an appreciation for Reality. He also meets his predecessor, original Producer Nemel, but after a meeting with Archimedel, where we learn Nemel has been having him mutate them to grow stronger using the ID Codes, Nemel is summoned to Suel, who dismisses him for his unauthorised actions, when Nemel feels he is most responsible for the DGP success. Nemel proceeds to let slip to Samas about the Navigators being incarnations of Mitsume to create a new Goddess, and decides to create a Jyamato God of Destruction. Before going to recruit Ziin's chosen Rider, a swordman, Miiru tells Niram how she has come to feel for all the Riders, not just the winners, recognising they are not just their entertainment but real people. Nemel kills the candidate and abducts her. Samas informs Niram of Miiru's disappearance, and Suel saying if Nemel acts out further to delete him. Before Nemel can feed Miiru to a Jyamato, Niram and Samas arrive. After e brief swordfight, Niram has his first injury and relays Nemel in kind, embracing Reality while Nemel dismisses it as Fiction. With a Zillion Driver, Nemel becomes Gazer Zero, opposing Gazer. As they fight, Miiru attempts to escape, but is eaten by the Jyamato, shaking Gazer enough he is almost defeated until Ziin arrives, angered by his candidates' murder, and holds Gazer Zero off, allowing Gazer to kill the Jyamato before joining forces to defeat Gazer Zero. Archimedel watches Nemel fade, before finding a mutated Jyamato seed, unaware it contains Miiru's goddess power, and decides to cultivate it. Niram creates Navigator:Tsumuri, and has her join him for Dango before starting work, having recognised from Miiru that the one who watches over their wishes should understand their Reality. His memories restored, Niram and Ziin are then made aware of a powerful Jyamato somehow rampaging in DGP HQ, Niram fears it may be Nemel's God of Destruction. Ziin is destroyed, before God of Creation Ace appears next to Niram, saying there is one way to end this destruction, which Niram acknowledges, sending him back to the past.

In 2021 the second Gridman Universe anime followed, SSSS.Dynazenin, focused on a completely new cast using the titular Robo to fight Kaiju.

As with it's predecessor, each episode was accompanied by a Voice Drama, as well as the blu-ray exclusives, and a Character Song Album was again produced.

The Scarred Souls Shine like Stars fanbook again had a manga short from Director Amemiya, this time focused on one study period shared by Koyomi and Inamoto when they were the younger cast members' age.

The Dynazenon Super Complete Works again featured a short store from Mizusawa Yume, "What is the power to end conflicts?" Set between episodes 9&10, it focuses on Chise at the batting cage coming across the failed Kaiju no.9, and an encounter with Sizumu, that lead her to ponder her own desires.

The Super Complete Works also feature this drawing of Bullbind and Gridman Sigma.

The Blu-ray pack in also included the four part Gridknight Fight miniseries, set after Dynazenon, and featuring Gridknight attempt to reduce Nidaime from Alexis, Nanashi B and Anti, with appearances from Dynazenon and Gridman.

Mizusawa Yume and bun150 reunited for SSSS.Dynazenin Chronicle, another tale of a looping world between episode 9 and 10, again featuring the debut of many new combinations, as well as the media debuts of DynaSoldier Rising Blue, Gridknight Rising Blue, and Kaiser Gridknight Over Spec Mode.

Another Symphogear XD event, Gattai Senki Dynagear, again between episode 9 and 10, saw the Symphogear forcibly brought to the Dynazenon world as most of the main cast vanish. Knight, now with Goldburn, recruits Tsubasa again, while Gauma recruits Hibiki and the others for Dynazenon, opposing Sizumu. A later version of this event featured a combination attack of Tsubasa Kaiser Gridknight and Hibiki Full Power Gridman.

There was only one SSSS.Dynazenon Show, again with two script readings, the first entitled "Be Happy". At Yomogi and Yume's future wedding, Koyomi and Gauma notice Sizumu and Mujina are in attendance, there's a joke about Juuga being busy with some performance. Inamoto and a moved Mei are also present, while Chise leads the proceedings. Gauma gives his speech until Mei, possessed by some dark force, summons the Kaiju Marriage Blues. The Gauma Team call Dynazenon, but struggles due to Yomogi and Yume's marriage doubts, until Inamoto steals them all with a speech, leading the a Big Bang Wedding Chop.

The second script reading was Maihama Station. Yomogi and Yume arrive at the titular station, Yomogi awakening from freaking the last story. Independently Koyomi and Chise and Mujina and Sizumu are also there, more jokes that Juuga is Oishi Masayoshi. Yomogi is unwilling to talk about his dream, annoying Yume. Knight and Nidaime arrive, interrupting the debate. Dynazenon appears, with Gauma's voice, though denies being him, and reminds Yomogi what is important to him. The others approach, but Sizumu suddenly has Gagula force itself out of his body and rampage, resisting Instance Domination. The couple still argue as Dynazenon and Gridknight struggle. Dynazenon reminds them of the importance of love, allowing them to focus and weaken it, and Dynazenon and Gridknight using the Dynamic Cannon defeat Gagula. Yomogi ajd Yume thank "Gauma", and Koyomi and Chise invite Sizumu and Mujina to join their outing. Gauma, Knight and Nidaime discuss where to go next, and Yomogi and Yume look to their futures.

3 SSSS.Gridman Shows were held, each accompanied by script readings with suit action.

The original SSSS.Gridman Show had a single script reading, SSSS.Gridman Grand Review Meeting, a meta discussion of the show from the cast in character. Akane has Alexis, who has become a home assistant because Inada Tetsu was attending remotely, create a Kaiju, but it winds up being the mascot Wooser. Gridman escorts him away, but Anti rampages, debuting his own suit, and Gridman fights him using Gridman Calibur. The script includes hints that Hass may like Utsumi.

SSSS.Gridman Show 02 a couple of months later had two script readings. The first "Last Order: Neon Genesis" has the Neon Genesis Junior High Students, Rikka Mama and Anti hanging out at an Izakaya, when a clerk (played by Hirose Yuya) annoyed by their demands, declares he is going to be the new God to supplant Akane, summoning Nanashi B. The NGJHS trick Anti into fighting, and he wields Gridman Calibur to win.

The second script was "Finally, Please", has the kids at karaoke, Namiko continues hinting Hass likes Utsumi, but Yuta seems like a different person. Gridman and Akane both return as a backup of Alexis possess Namiko, and fights and overwhelms Gridman, assisted by Nanashi B. Rikka manages to make Yuta come to his senses, igniting Gridman's power, who becomes Denkou Chojin Gridman to defeat the villains. Hass teases Utsumi while Akane encourages Rikka to pursue her feelings for Yuta, then songs youthful beautiful with her before leaving.

SSSS.Gridman Show 03: Revenge didn't happen for a couple of years, and by the time it did Dynazenon was airing. The first script reading was "Let's Revenge". As the Hyper Agents travel by passroute back to Hyper World with the captive Alexis, they suddenly come across Namiko and Hass, who have come to this space via haunted house. The girls argue, causing enough Minus Energy for Alexis to break free and forcibly wield Gridman Calibur. The Girls Access Flash so Gridman can fight, and Calibur resists being used for the Alexis Calibur End enabling Gridman to defeat him, though Alexis continues to plot.

The second script reading was "How to Use Power". At Aya, Yuta and Utsumi are surprised to meet Rikka Papa (played by Inada Tetsu). Anti and the Kaiju Girl arrive with a warning, as does Akane, followed by Gridman, who reveals Alexis escaped. Rikka Papa denies being Alexis, with backing from Mama, but is exposed. Yuta Access Flashes, and Akane has Anti help. Alexis tries to control Anti, but he resists, becoming Gridknight, and they perform a Double Calibur End. Alexis is sealed again, and Akane says her goodbyes to Rikka and thanks Anti. Anti and the Kaiju Girl talk, and decide to give eachother names, becoming Knight and Nidaime.

As a prequel to both SSSS.Gridman and the 2016 Diaclone relaunch, 3 Diaclone Vs Gridman sets were released, introducing Battles Gridman and the Grid Tector. A 4 part prose peace was produced to tell the story of these forms, as well as the origins of Primal Fighter Gridman.

Symphogear XD collaboration Yume wo Utau Eiyu saw Gridman, Gridknight and the Neon Genesis Junior High Students join forces with Hibiki and Tsubasa to counter a threat to their world.

The ULTRAMAN x Gridman collaboration saw Gridman assist ULTRAMAN in a special chapter of ULTRAMAN Suit ANOTHER UNIVERSE, also told in photo form, and a special Symphogear repeat where Hibiki's Gridman and Maria's Ultraman combined attacks.

Cancelled Projects

An Akane focused manga, after being stalled in development for some time, was eventually cancelled.

2018 saw the launch of the Gridman Universe from Trigger with SSSS.Gridman. This 12 episode reimagining borrowed concepts and names from unproduced content from the 90s to create a whole new story, and new merchandise for Gridman's new forms, plus tonnes focused on specific characters. Some spoilers under the cut as we talk about all the media that spun off from it.

Starting with the most closely connected media.

Author Mizusawa Yume of "Ore no Twintail" fame, who will be coming up a lot, penned an original story "The Diamond in the Notebook" for the Super Complete Works, seeing Utsumi inspired to create a record of Gridman and his abilities.

An alarm app featured special voice lines from Akane and Rikka.

A manga adaptation of the show was produced, somewhat expanded, over 6 volumes. In addition there were 3 manga anthologies, one general, as well as Side:Rikka and Side:Akane.

Shirahane Godou is the previous Knight in charge of CREACITY, and Souma's father, who went missing while investigating the Gate of Destruction 3 years ago. Despite Souma's loss of control when failing to use the Flashing Cut he has faith in his ability. Sometimes before his disappearance, while trying to learn more about the Gate of Destruction, he met Ryuga and, impressed by his control over his own darkness, taught him to use the Flashing Cut, as well as entrusting him with Souma if they met in the future.

Iruva is Godou's Madou Ring partner, a rare Madougu in this era, she comments infrequently on current circumstances.

As Kouzan Kishi ZANKO, Godou was a skilled warrior capable of cutting down almost any Horror with his signature technique.

Guide to GARO: Part 20: GARO Hagane wo Tsugu Mono

A return of the GARO Franchise after 4 years, this series returns us to Dougai Ryuga, some years after the the events of KAMINOKIBA.

Dougai Ryuga is called by Makai Priestes Mutsugi to CREACITY, to assist the local Makai Knights and Priests in attempting to seal the Gate of Destruction, an Ancient Horror Gate sealed beneath the city, and believed to be reopening, as people within CREACITY have been becoming Horrors too easily. There he encounter Shirahame Souma, CREACITY's Makai Knight, who is a little too protective of his territory, and may need some reminders of what it means to be a Makai Knight.

Now a veteran Makai Knight, well known enough that by name people know he is the Golden Knight. While he continues to use the same style he's used in recent years, Zaruba no longer has his shield, returned to the red eye appearance. A few years ago, Ryuga met Godou, and learnt from him the Flashing Cut, and made a promise to watch over Souma if they met.

Shirahame Souma is the only current Makai Knight in CREACITY. A young titleless Knight who wears a HAGANE armour, he has refused to leave for training or accept another Knight in the territory for the past 3 years, wanting Godou to be able to reclaim his territory when he returns. Prideful and not in full control of his emotions yet, he has been known to risk human lives due to reckless fighting of Horrors. Despite his training, he has yet to master the Flashing Cut.

Koyori is a junior Makai Priestess in CREACITY, training under Mutsugi. She goes to request Ryuga's aid on Mutsugi's orders, and fights alongside both him and Souma. Close to Souma, she understands his feelings more than most, even if she knows he is too prideful at present.

Mutsugi is the senior Makai Priestess in CREACITY. Due to understanding Souma's feelings she has not forced him to seek training. Has detected the increase in Horror awakening and determined the source as the Gate of Destruction, and knows the Gate first showed signs of disruption 3 years ago around the time Godou disappeared.

Igusu, Ron and Obi and 3 titleless Makai Knights collectively known as the AGORA Swordsmen, responsible for defending the area surrounding CREACITY, they are called by Mutsugi to help in preparation for the attempt to seal the Gate of Destruction. Igusu, the mentor of the 3, is an old friend of Godou, and while he misses his friend, he feels Souma should have been sent for training, and feels he needs to open his eyes to the worse possibilities of Godou's disappearance. Ron is Igusu's senior pupil, a competent Knight whom Igusu recommends placing in charge of CREACITY. Obi, the junior pupil, is still inexperienced, and places a little too more stock in titles, but is able to fight well alongside his allies. Like Souma, all 3 wear HAGANE, Igusu having red eyes, Ron green and Obi yellow.

A mysterious Seducer appears to those falling to darkness within CREACITY and tempts then to darkness.

Cosmic Spring

Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: As the Gate of Destruction opens, the first thing to emerge is a pair of giant hands, but there appears to be a maw between them, and each digit appears to have a mouth. GARO and HAGANE stand against the evil. The memorial stone glows and an earthquake shakes CREACITY, Ron and Obi knowing what it must mean. GARO and HAGANE fight the Horror Mutsugi, but she is even more able to avoid their attacks than Mutsugi was, and traps the two in a void. Koyori finds the resolve to stan, and takes up Mutsugi's Madou Brush. The two Makai Knights are trapped in a Makai Realm, where they are quickly restrained, the Horror Mutsugi pouring Jaki onto both of them, which starts rapidly mirroring their armours throughout. Rocks are launched at them which Souma breaks free and destroys so they can't hit Ryuga, then as more fly throws his sword to stop, leading both of them to fall as the Jaki becomes immobilising, the Horror Mutsugi gloating that the light of hope will be snuggled out by the darkness, even Zaruba warning Ryuga he will fall to darkness. Ryuga remembers Goudo's words, of the Senkokenbu's sister technique, the Seneikenbu, and resolves to turn all of Garo's light into darkness. The light radiating off is so intense it undoes the corruption to HAGANE, freeing Souma from it's grip, and GARO Yami uses the Seneikenbu to slice the Horror, releasing Mutsugi and destroying the Seducer. Koyori sees the tear in space vanish as Ryuga and Souma appear, and thanks Ryuga for releasing Mutsugi from darkness, he gives a moments comfort, before turning their attention to sealing the Gate of Destruction. IRUVA awakens to inform that the Dragon Head of the Gate of Destruction is an ancient Horror their ancestors used to seal the Gate of Destruction, now awakened and seeking to consume human souls, they cannot hope to get close. Ryuga tells Souma they can use Senkokenbu, but Souma is afraid, having never mastered it, but Ryuga knows Godou had faith in him, and IRUVA relates how on that fateful day, Godou told Mutsugi that Souma snapped out of the darkness on his own from hearing his voice, so he knows one day he will manage it, as the next ZANGO. With his father's words, and encouragement from Koyori and Ryuga, Souma is encouraged. Ryuga attempts to summon GARO unsuccessfully, it will need purifying before he can use it, Souma offers a solution, Igusu's Makaiken, having take it from his grave, seeking to fight with him again. (As an aside, it is canon according to Yoseki no Wana that HAGANE has in fact been worn by most titled Knights before receiving their title, Ryuga may be the exception given his circumstances.) Ryuga summons HAGANE, and alongside Souma, with encouragement from Godou's will, the two HAGANE, and the image of GARO and ZANGO, together use Senkokenbu to cut down the Horror, ending the threat. Ryuga helps Souma up, praising him. The Gate of Destruction now appears to be permanently sealed by ZANGO, the spirits of Godou, Mutsugi and Igusu look on at the next generation. 3 proper graves are made for the mentors, Ryuga noting the ancestors must have realised it was impossible to destroy the Gate of Destruction, and chosen to live with it as best they could, after great sacrifice, and Souma now recognising just fighting Horrors isn't the answer, they also need to pass down the will of HAGANE. Ryuga goes to leave CREACITY to Koyori, Souma, Ron and Obi, needing to purify GARO asap. On his journey Ryuga stops to look at a certain har ornament on his person, and smile before continuing.

New Generation Stars: Yuka and the robot look confused at the new Hyper Keys, Ignis arriving and being informed. The robot offers a possible solution, that she unwittingly picked up data from another universe while in sleep mode, something Ignis didn't know she could do, having picked her up in space. The Robot introduces itself properly as Ediom, and AI that once committed a grave sin. Launched millennia ago from Ialim to record history, Ediom came to feel the loneliness of civilisations as they died, and that it was the loneliest of all, leading to it's warped decision to erase the Land of Light's database to see how the Ultras would react, only to see them not only restore the data, but save it in the process. Realising the error of it's ways, it created a body which Ignis then took. Yuka needs to process, and they decide to show more data, of the Ten Heisei Ultras against Etelgar and his Eteldummies. Yuka is overwhelmed by more Ultras she hasn't seen, so they show someone she is more familiar with, Ignis as Dark Trigger and Trigger against Aboras and Banila, then Trigger and Decker on the moon against Spheres. Yuka is a little calmer, but Ediom cannot explain what drew it to Yuka. Ignis takes the Earth Garon and Blazar keys, as Yuka and Ediom resolve to keep working together.

Gotchard:

Bunboomger: On his first formal day, Jou asks to join the Bunboomgers, to even Chassiro's surprise, Taiya turns him down. The Hashiliens are annoyed to find they still aren't getting media attention, and create a Darts Kurumajin. Taiya doesn't clearly explain to the others his reasoning. Jou wonders what he lacks, and is alerted to the Kurumajin, forcing people to play darts and subjecting them to punishment games if they miss the bullseye, he calls the team, and then volunteers to play to protect a potential victim, and instead of aiming for the bullseye deliberately hits the eye, creating a distraction so the victims can escape, but getting a beating for his trouble. The Bunboomgers arrive, but Mira is quickly goaded into playing and subjected to Pan rain, Chassiro to explosive treats, and while Taiya hits the bullseye, his prize is the electric chair. To protect the Bunboomgers, Jou charges in, doing whatever he can to interfere with the Kurumajin, and Taiya, satisfied now about his reasons, has Genba deliver the Bun Change Axe to him. Jou becomes BunBlack, and together the 4 Bunboomgers fight, with Jou defeating the Kurumajin on his own, though Yarucar immediately consumes the Gyasoline and rampages. The chase is on, Taiya gives Jou use on Bunboom Patocar 1, and Chassiro, accompanied by Mira, drives Bunboom Patocar 2, which together have the skills to force Yarucar off the road, and form Bunboomger Robo Police, which uses gunplay to stop every dart, and defeat the Kurumaju. Saibu is told of Jou being made a Bunboomger, as Bunboom offers another round of curry.

Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: The Gate of Destruction fully unseals, and in the light spilling out from it, the Forbidden Fruit appears. Zaruba knows of it, consuming it grand omniscience and omnipotence, as Mutsugi does just that, and a change begins in her. After radiating power, she channels power from the Gate of Destruction, it emerged from the statue in CREACITY, and to Obi and Ron's shock, turns the sky bright as day, and there is a pulse of Jaki. Ron helps a woman who stumbled, and seems fine, but many others are frozen, eyes white, it seems about half the people are in this state. Mutsugi moves to continue her work, easily fighting off both Ryuga and and Souma, and while holding Ryuga in place prepares to unleash another pulse, but Koyori uses her whip to grab her arm, determined to protect the people of CREACITY, as is her duty. Mutsugi attacks her, Souma protects her, and they start trying to fight together, but only Ryuga is even close to a match, and she uses a spell on him. In his disoriented state, he points out she knows Inga is impossible to eliminate, but she argues that the Makai have operated on this premise for millennia, and the world has not changed, Horrors continue to appear, and she believes eliminating Inga, even at the cost if human lives, is the only way, but Ryuga knows Inga has also lead to human advancement. She accuses him of singing with Inga, but his duty is to human life, and the eventual world where humanity is no longer swayed by it, but for that he must cut her down. He is unable to actually touch her, until Souma saves him, swearing to fight even if his body is destroyed, and summons his HAGANE. Mutsugi acknowledges him, but declares there is no need for Makai Knights now, overpowering him and blasting both, Koyori blocks, but has no hope of winning, until Souma supports her, and they manage to send it back. Mutsugi is enraged, and grabs her collected Inga, as Ryuga, Souma and Koyori stand to oppose her, Koyori prepares a spell, handing her Madou Brush to Ryuga. Seeing her resolve, Ryuga summons GARO, and casts it as a spear into Mutsugi, defeating her, and breaking her spell over the people. Ryuga and the others declares that they are protectors, not rulers over humanity. Mutsugi is then stunned to hear the voice of the Seductress once more, disappointed in Mutsugi's achievement after all the work she did in guiding her to the Forbidden Fruit. As Mutsugi breaks, the Seductress possesses her body to acquire the power of the Forbidden Fruit, and declares her victory, opening the Gate of Destruction fully, as GARO and HAGANE stand opposed to her.

New Generation Stars: Yuka runs off to make a suddenly requested presentation to thes higher ups, and the robot, as it decides to clean up a little, suddenly freezes up, and again data of Blazar and SKaRD battling plays without apparent influence. After the end, the last blank key is converted to an Ultraman Blazar Hyper Key. Yuka returns, and as the robot reactivates they both noticed the new Hyper Keys.

Gotchard: Renge is visiting her grandmother, and is attacked by something. Minato and the kids have been reinstated at the Alchemist Academy, Minato has some doubts about teaching again, but the kids encourage him. They have 78/101 Chemies, and a message from the Assembly basically reflects blame for not noticing the hero Greyon was the mastermind behind everything. Renge calls about the Yokai attack, interrupted by exorcist Starshine Hoshino and his pupil, Pandora Kajiki, and Ichinose and Renge go to meet her, where they are a hitodama and follow it, are attacked by the Yokai, the girls force Ichinose to become Gotchard, but even as TriCatcher he can't stop it, but Hoshino and Kajiki arrive, Hoshino actually forcing it back. As everyone marvels, FireMars on it's own leaves Ichinose and enters Hoshino's Mandala, leading him to declare he's gathered all 5 elements, and leave. Two punks messaged with the local shrine, and are approached by the Yokai, in fact two Chemies, and harass them, leading a nearby Atropos to declare humans pathetic. Renge's grandmother recommends Hoshino to the village for his work, while Ichinose has gotten confirmation from Sabimaru on the Chemies' identified as CareRy and BeroSol, and from this Ichinose has deduced the Mandala contains all Cosmis Chemy, Hoshino relating the story of how the lights granted him their power. The Yokai Malgam attack, easily thwarting Hoshino. Platinum Gotchard fights, borrowing power from X-Rex, AppareBushido, and matching a joint technique with Wrestler G and OdoRippa, and recovers the two Chemies, but they seem to want to communicate something. It emerges the two hoodlums are land shark trying to pressure the people into abandoning the village. The frustrated mayor leaves, and is attached by something unseen.

Bunboomger: the "Tire People" have started making the news, Taiya and Chassiro know what to expect, but Bunboom is just excited. Mira is forced to become BunPink to save a kid in the road, only to, still transformed, be arrested by Jou. Chassiro is informed by a contact of Mira's arrest, taken in by the International Space Agency, and is interrogated by Jou's new superior, who already knows who she is, and questions her on the danger the Bunboomgers and Budario pose, even as Mira points out the Hashilien's are the threat. Taiya interrupts the interrogation via communicator, introducing himself and making clear he already knows who Saibu Shirabe is. Annoyed by the attention all going to the Bunboomgers, the Hashiliens decide to draw attention to themselves, and create a Sauna Kurumajin. Taiya has brought Jou and Saibu to the base, on behalf of the ISA she demands Chassiro and Mira be removed and the operations be turned over to them, with Taiya's cooperation, and they select the Bunboomgers. Naturally Taiya refuses, willing to cooperate but not to let ISA control them. The Hashilien attack makes the news, and Saibu has Jou stop the team leaving, declaring if they do they'll become criminals to the ISA, but as the victims call for the Bunboomgers to rescue them, and Genba specifically requests them, the trio go anyway, Jou's duty to the people leading him to go along with them, leaving Saibu behind, it's only then she sees Bunboom, who offers her curry. The Bunboomgers arrive, their presence inspiring the people enough to reverse Gyasoline production, and Jou helps them flee, marvelling at the heroics, while Saibu, having cleared her plate, discusses with her superiors as Bundario offers more. With the Kurumajin defeated, Yarucar once again goes on a rampage. Bundario gives Saibu her last helping before launching the Bunboom Cars and joining in defeating the foe. Later Saibu accepts Taiya's offer, and he chooses Jou as their intermediary with the ISA, and they have more curry to celebrate.

The Door to Darkness

Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: With Souma enslaved by the darkness forced into him, he attacks Ryuga. Mutsugi notes she had nothing against Ryuga as she prepares to attack him, but Koyori stands in her way. Incense at her pupil's defiance, Mutsugi launches explosions at her, but Koyori then manages to surprise her by attacking from above, refusing to let Mutsugi disrupt Ryuga. Souma yells out, a small sign of awareness, but then his perception is warped, and he sees Ryuga as Ron, mocking him for being just a HAGANE. Mutsugi forces even more Jaki into him, and then he now sees Ryuga as Koyori, mocking him for the fact he'll never catch up to Godou. Ryuga has to knock Souma down, and recalls his words with Godou, that to him Souma is "GARO", he will not let that hope die. Koyori refuses to stop defying Mutsugi until she returns to her old self, Mutsugi mourns her pupil's failure to understand, and uses brutal attacks on Koyori, who loses her Madou Brush after throwing it, and is knocked down. Mutsugi revels at seeing the Gate of Destruction opening, but Koyori uses the distraction to reopen the gate using her own Brush, and force Mutsugi and herself back into ARIVIS. Mutsugi compliments her reaction. Koyori, who knows Mutsugi's kindness, wants to know why she is doing this, Mutsugi argues there work doesn't bring peace because of the evils of humans who have not become Horrors, thus she intends to eliminate those people. Koyori knows that won't solve anything, and that they should believe in humanity while fighting. Still fighting, Souma makes Ryuga realise he is now seeing him as Godou, still belittling him. He gets knocked down, and sees Ryuga properly, telling him he doesn't understand his father and to fight to shake off the darkness. Koyori tells Mutsugi that she's wrong, and is blasted dispassionately by her mentor. Souma and Koyori both rise to find their respective mentors stood over them. Koyori still refuses to give in, enhancing her strength to fight. The image of Godou continues to taunt Souma, but Ryuga's voice encourages him to see through the darkness and cut it out. Souma focuses, and begins to fight back against the image of Godou, but finds himself restrained by Inga, and the image of Godou instead becomes Souma as it prepares to cut him down, but with Ryuga's encouragement, Souma cuts it down, cutting away his Inga and awakens. Restored to his right mind, Souma and Ryuga face the Gate of Destruction, when Mutsugi returns to the chamber, now having Koyori captive, when Souma declared he has shed his darkness. Before anything more can happen though, Shinmetsu Jushin ZANGO vanishes, fully unsealing the Gate, Souma takes the moment to lick Iruva, who appeared on the ground.

New Generation Stars: With Yuka demoralised after feeling inadequate compared to other scientists, the robot reminds her of her ingenious method of getting Windom working, motivating her again.

Gotchard: Greyon uses the captive Chemies, and the DreadDriver, to create an Ouroboros that is the Door to Darkness, and knows the last key is right behind them. As the heroes arrive, Greyon reveals to them the completion of his work will end the Chemies' lives. Iron Gotchard, Madjade and Valvarad confront him, and he uses SteamLiner and DaiOhni himself to become Dread Type Two. Atropos and Clotho decide to deal with Sabimaru and Renge, while Greyon, only concerned with Hotaro, creates Repli-Malgam to occupy the others. Renge and Sabimaru resist Atropos' control thanks to ZukyuMpire based alchemy, and Valvarad and Madjade defeats their opponents. Dread adds UniCon to achieve Type 3, and as the Sisters defeat the seniors, is able to defeat the 3 Riders, noting Hotaro fighting has perfects the GotcharDriver, as he uses it to open the Door to Darkness. Minato can see this, and is caught by Kyouka, who condemns his current status and encourages him to honour the loss of that class Greyon killed, not be paralysed by his guilt. Greyon revels in his victory, but is annoyed when Ichinose expresses shock at how simple his goal of making the world into gold is, preparing to kill him, only for Minato to save him at the last second. While getting the rest of his students to help hold off the villains, they send Ichinose to the Chemies, he is able to encourage them to resist to fight back. Hopper1's voice manages to be transmitted via Isaac, before the Level 10 Chemies' give Hopper1 their power, changing her into CrossHopper, and retrieves the GotcharDriver. Iron Gotchard scatters the rest of the Chemies, ruining the ritual, then fights Dread, before using CrossHopper to become Platinum Gotchard. In this state he can channel Chemy pairs, starting with WrestlerG and SaboNeedle, then X-Rex and UFO-X, KaiserBee and MechaniChani, X Fortress and OdoRippa, RaiDenji and CatchUla, RenkingRobo and WarpTera, before finally defeating Greyon. He mourns his El Dorado, before an entity beyond the Door to Darkness grabs him, dragging him through before the Gate closes. The Chemies return to their partners as everyone reunites, preparing to create their own Alchemist Academy, and Kyouka, seeing it is over, takes a moment to thank Lachesis for helping her make sure Minato made it. Clotho retrieves Greyon's cube, proclaiming it isn't over, as to Atropos' discomfort, the cube starts to beat and pulse.

Bunboomger: Taiya and Bunboom are working on Bunboom Classic when Mira comes with a delivery, having promised a colleague's son to deliver his (broken) handmade mirror to his grandmother. Taiya accepts the job, but won't let her take the Car. Mad Rex is not impressed with the current levels of Gyasoline, so the Hashilien's create a new Kurumajin from a grandfather clock, with a grudge against anything moving. With a long way for Mira to go, Genba provides her a bike, while Chassiro notifies Taiya of the Kurumajin. Wile Mira gets lost riding past the battle multiple times, the others try to stop the Kurumajin and defend the patrolman, who makes an ill fated attempt to fight the monster, which chases Mira. Taiya believes she decided to lure the Kurumajin so no one was hurt, but when they catch up it turns out she assumed the plan was for them to deal with it so she could complete the delivery. Nonetheless the 3 Bunboomger defeat it, then run Yarucar off the road, and Bunboomger Robo fights the Kurumaju. Unfortunately, their existing strategy doesn't work, so Taiya calls in Bunboom Classic, which becomes a sword for the Robo's free hand, allowing them to counter and defeat the Kurumaju. With that done, Mira completes her delivery. Patrolman Akusu Jou returns to HQ, with yet more work to report given his broken bike, only to be approached by an official looking woman, who knows of the Bunboomgers, and jad questions for him about them.

The Father Alchemist

Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: Souma cannot bear the sight of the Gate of Destruction, with Shinmetsu Jushin ZANGO holding it, and Mutsugi casts a spell upon him. Ryuga and Koyori attempt to make their way through ARIVIS again, Koyori relating she just barely saw Mutsugi trigger the trap, though she cannot guess at her motive, but reveals Mutsugi seemed to know where to go to find Souma earlier. Ryuga, having heard Godou's voice from 3 years ago, guesses that 3 years ago he had come to ARIVIS with Mutsugi, and they decide to hurry. Mutsugi has restrained Souma, and channels darkness from ZANGO into him, while telling him she is acting for justice, and just needs him to release the armour, claiming grandiosely she can bring about a world without Horrors when the seal on the Gate of Destruction is broken, by removing mankind's Inga. She recalls saving a man from a Horror, as was her duty, only for that man to kill many people, the guilt she felt burdened her. Godou tried to help her move on, but she feared what may happen again, unable to believe in mankind like Godou. The opening of the Gate of Destruction is said to be when Inga first came into Jinkai, but despite the sacrifices to close it, Inga remains in the world, and Mutsugi could find no way to prevent it, until she learnt of the Forbidden Fruit in one of Godou's books, just as he came to her to tell her he was going to SEKIGAN Forest, and had her stay to protect the city. She caught up to him later, and convinced him to let her join him in ARIVIS. When they arrived, the Gate of Destruction was more a swirling vortex of darkness. The temptress appeared to her, convincing her to break the seal to achieve her dream, and she sees within it the Forbidden Fruit, and starts preaching if it to Godou's confusion, and when she suggests opening the gate to acquire it, he naturally refuses due to the expected outpouring of Inga, but she finds it convenient, she can gather all those drawn to it at once, and kill them, since they're the people who will eventually become Horrors. Godou tries to make her see sense, but she restrains him and prepares to try and break the seal, Godou breaks free and summons ZANGO. The gate attacked him after Mutsugi started, Iruva confirming the seal has been broken, Godou sees no choice but to leap at the Gate. Iruva begged him to release the armour, as otherwise it was sure to consume him, but he swore to keep the gate sealed even if it cost his life. And so Shinmetsu Jushin ZANGO formed, and absorbed the Jaki from the Gate of Destruction, keeping the gate sealed as long as it remained there. Souma is naturally unhappy to learn Mutsugi has both known the reason for his father's loss and been the cause of it, even as she attempts to convince him to choose differently to Godou, as she forces more Jaki into him, demanding to know what his wish is. To fight as ZANGO like Godou, Godou's acknowledgement, protect everyone by opening the Gate of Destruction. Souma tells her to be quiet as she presses him to claim ZANGO. After she stops channeling Jaki into Souma, the Temptress appears to him, pressing him to do as Mutsugi bids. Ryuga and Koyori finally arrive, and try to defend Souma, but thanks to the Temptress and the Jaki he attacks them when they stop him, and leaps at ZANGO to strike it and release the armour. As the Armour starts to release, ending the seal upon the Gate of Destruction, Souma turns to oppose Ryuga.

New Generation Stars: Yuka marvels at the incredible technology of the GUTS Sparklence, and assumes Hijiri Akito must have been a world renowned scientist, prompting the robot to reveal Akito was only 18 when he invented it, and showcase further Akito inventions, Nursedessei and GUTS Falcon. Yuka is shocked someone so young was able to create technology suited for Ultra use, prompting the Robot to show her another example, Xio's Takada Rui, also 18 at the time, alongside Fantin Seijin Guruman, creating the Ultimate Zero Cyber Card so X could rescue her. Yuka feels inadequate after learning of these geniuses, but the Robot, apparently not understanding why shows another example, then 19 year old Ichijoji Tomoya of UPG harnessing a way to channel Victorium energy to revive Ginga Strium and Victory to fight Five King (SDU), with an aside about the Ultra Six Brothers fighting the Guar Brothers. Yuka voices her feelings of inadequacy, but then tries to steel herself to resume work, as the Robot wonders if it has fine the right thing.

Gotchard: Hotaro is exhausted from using ancient alchemy, so Sabimaru and Renge help out at Kitchen Ichinose, but when he wakes up he joins in, feeling doing what he needs to is the way he'll recover his Chemy friends. Minato reflects on the recent battle, and ten years ago, when Lachesis approaches, he guesses she is there to kill him. Greyon looks at the 8 Class 10 Chemies he has now. Lachesis is distraught at Minato not keeping with his plan to defeat Greyon, and begs for help, terrified of Greyon, only for Clotho and Atropos to appear, Greyon having guessed she was wavering. Clotho is still hesitant to kill her sister, but Atropos takes the Dreadriver to attack, Spanner's coincidental arrival occupies her, and Minato holds Clotho off until Lachesis escapes before fleeing, then Atropos, overwhelmed by Spanner's power, also flees with Clotho. Ichinose collapsed after the restaurant closes, right before Kudoh arrives. Greyon tells Atropos and Clotho that the traitors can be dealt with anytime, he intends to focus on his main objective, but to create the Door of Darkness he needs all 10 Class X Chemies. He's actually had Dragonalos imprisoned in his cube all this time, so releases it to forcibly create a Dragon Malgam, and sends it after the last one. Kyouka detects this, and knows Gaiard is at the Earth Science museum, informing Spanner and the kids. Renge and Sabimaru don't want to tell Ichinose, but Kudoh does, reasoning he'd work it out anyway. Valvarad confronts the Dragon Malgam after it already captured Gaiard, but find his black flames are ineffective, Madjade has Ichinose wait, and starts off well, but becomes overwhelmed, prompting Iron Gotchard to join the frey. The Malgam fights while gloating over the power Dragonalos and Gaiard hold as the first Chemy, enough that the other Class X have their power derived from them, and laughs when Ichinose argued TenLiner is also Class X, and defeats all 3 Riders. It aims to finish them, when it's attack is intercepted, by the arrival of Kudoh Fuga. Equipping his own AlchemisDriver, and declaring he will open the path for the youths, he uses GigaBaham and KuroAna to become Kamen Rider Wind Black Bahamut. Wind effortlessly overpowers the Malgam regardless of what it does, and Fuga recovers Dragonalos and Gaiard. Unfortunately, he is immediately stabbed in the back by Greyon, who takes all 4 Chemies and leaves to complete his work. Fuga assures his daughter she will see him again, and entrusts Ichinose with chasing Greyon to the Ouroboros Realm, before his body falls apart, revealing he was an alchemical double. After a moment to recover, everyone boards TenLiner to follow Greyon, who, Atropos and Clotho at his side, begins using dark Alchemy on all the Chemies in his possession.

Bunboomger: Mira arrives at Taiya's mansion and enters his base, as discussions about transferring documents for diplomats is ongoing, however Chassiro refuses to accept her as a Bunboomger. While eating Bunboom's curry, they explain that he is an alien, while the Hashilien are Space Mafia, and are currently promising their boss, Mad Rex, Earth, so he can advance, and make the next Kurumaju from a vacuum cleaner. Chassiro is forced by Taiya to take Mira on the job by being reminded of his own recruitment, Taiya had him at his mercy but recruited him instead. Just before making contact, the diplomat's documents are sucked by the Kurumajin, despite Chassiro trying to stop her, Mira can't help but run in to fight it when the same patrolman is imperilled, she then sees Chassiro has disappeared. Taiya arrives and helps get the unconscious man away, upon hearing of Chassiro running off he tells the man watching last time, who is with procurement, to take care of things, before fighting with Mira against the Kurumajin, right up until Bunboom Wagon rolls in, grabs it, and drags it away, driven by Chassiro, to Mira's confusion. It drops it at a junkyard, and sucks it all up, until it gets clogged, at which point Taiya grabs the dust collector, which has the documents inside. Mira is confused how this was planned, Chassiro had been observing from the beginning, and determining their was a collection limit, acted to get the Kurumajin out the way, Taiya trusting him to act properly, but denies Taiya's claim that he trusted Mira to hold off the Kurumajin. Also procurement bought the junkyard with Taiya's money so they could use it. The 3 BunBoomgers fight and defeat the Kurumajin, but Yarucar rampages again. Taiya and Chassiro's teamwork runs it off the road, and Bunboomger Robo defeats it. The secret documents wind up being something unexpected, but Mira sees the value of the job and Chassiro leaves self-satisfied.

The Iron Alchemist

Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: Ryuga and Souma are trapped in a small stretch of corridor. Souma sits and asks Ryuga how he felt after the battle the previous day, recalling the pained look he had as Naomi died, and recalling his father sometimes had the same look on his face after sealing a Horror, one of mourning. He is now troubled, having focused on strength, when he now realises he is something he's missing, so Ryuga tells him Godou's words. Ryuga had arrived to find a Horror, Jigarus being fought already by a white armoured Makai Knight, who he recognised as Kouzan Kishi ZANKO. Using the Flashing Cut, ZANKO seals Jigarus, and after releasing his armour, Godou has that same pained look. His Madou Ring, Iruba, draws his attention to Ryuga, whose identity he questions, but on hearing his name seems to know he's the Golden Knight. They walk and talk, Ryuga has come to this place to restrain, and Godou takes some heart in knowing even the Golden Knight continues to seek strength. Ryuga asks to learn the Flashing Cut, and Godou is reluctant, warning of the dangers of you cannot control your darkness, so Ryuga shows him GARO On, the proof he has won against the darkness, suitably impressed, Godou leads him to where he is based (I swear this is the same filming location as where Zedom's arm was sealed), and explains he has been travelling to learn the secret of the Gate of Destruction. The first step of training is communicating with the Soul Metal and drawing out the darkness, then converting that to light, which he manages well, then being able to use that to attack a moving target, then using it properly on a summoned foe, Ryuha succeeds but is winded. Godou explains the strain can damage the armour, meaning it releases to avoid it, but with training they can beat it. Godou reveals there is also an opposite technique, the Shadow Cut, but given what Ryuga has already achieved over his darkness, he believes he can master it too in time. He muses briefly his son has yet to learn the technique, and talks about how difficult his son can be for him, but Ryuga can see how much he cares for him, and Godou says that while GARO is the hope of the Makai Knights, his son is his hope. As they part ways, Godou asks Ryuga to take care of his son of he has to. Despite hearing his father intended to teach him, Souma feels his father was hesitant after his loss of control, that he's a failure. Ryuga relates Godou's words, "That everything has a start" an advises Souma to think back to when he decided to become a Makai Knight. As Souma thinks, Ryuga seems to have a revelation of his own, but they're interrupted by Koyori and Mutsugi finding them and insulating the passageway. Rather than having them continue, Ryuga request Koyori recall the words from the monument, "The Person bathed in light seeks not the end, but blood", and Ryuga, thinking on those words, the glyph where they entered, and Godou's words, and announces he knows how to reach the Gate of Destruction. Back at the entrance of ARAVIS, Ryuga drives his sword into the centre of the marking, opening the door to the Gate of Destruction. Mutsugi surreptitiously uses her magic to activate the glyph trap, and stops Souma from acting as Ryuga and Koyori are teleported away, then insists to to Souma they go ahead. They entered the dark chamber, and Souma looks in awe at the Gate of Destruction, which appears like the image of a black wolf resting atop a white orb, hanging in the sky, and is crushed by the revelation, recognising the Black Wolf as his father.

New Generation Stars: Yuka starts another day of work, and seeing the robot is in sleep mode, leaves the room, as she does, the system starts playing, without any seeming input, footage of Earth Garon and Blazar's battle with Tagangular, at the end one of the blank Hyper Keys is loaded with Earth Garon data. Yuka returns, not noticing the keys at least for now, and with the robot finally awake, the start the day.

Gotchard: Greyon shows the Abyssal Sisters his collection, confident in his victory. Iron Gotchard thanks all the Warp Malgam's attacks, and defeats it with an Iron Knuckle, rescuing WarpTera. Dread attacks, and SteamLiner runs out of power, causing Hotaro to collapse, but is caught by Kudoh Fuga, who criticises Minato's teaching methods before escaping with everyone. Kudoh is angry, but cannot help hugging her father, who explains Ichinose is suffering the effects of a Forbidden Alchemy. Fuga had been the one to approach them, and taught Ichinose to transmute SteamLiner using the Fire GotcharDriver and his body, enhancing his ring temporarily, but it still puts a strain of things. Before Spanner and Rinne can plan to retrieve the other cards, Kyouka insists she and Fuga explain about Minato, who Greyon has now ordered to kill Ichinose. 10 years ago, Minato and Kyouka were friends at the Academy, alongside Minato's beloved junior, Suzuta Daiki, a man with ambitions to bring piece to the world even if he had to break the Laws to do it. The Academy was attacked by the Jungle Malgam, to everyone's shock, as Fuga was meant to be safeguarding the Chemies. Minato rushed to find the Professor, and Kyouka wanted to run to find Spanner after remembering he was visiting that day, leaving Daiki, who tried to fight the Malgam, which was supported by Lachesis and Clotho. Fuga saved Daiki, realising Greyon had managed to steal some Chemies after all, the Sisters annoyed to see him, and warned Kyouka and Daiki about Greyon. Unfortunately Minato had just reported the Malgam appearance to the Academy teacher, Greyon. Suzuya and the other students arrived and managed to convince Minato of the truth, despite Greyon's arguments, and Minato opted to restrain Greyon via alchemy. Unfortunately, Greyon immediately freed himself, and used that same alchemy to punish Minato by first killing Suzuya, and the bewitching the other students to kill eachother, leaving Minato to live with the memory as Clotho lead him to the Door of Darkness. When Kyouka found the scene later, post accidental-spearing from Spanner, Minator blamed himself for Suzuya's death. Understanding Minato is trying to avoid the kids death, they still refuse to let him to this, and rush to the former Academy while Fuga watches over Ichinose. When Minato stands in their way, Valvarad and Madjade face Dread again, he is then joined by Clotho, merged with GorillaSensei and BugLesia, but Minato stops her laying a hand on the students for now. Ichinose arrives, determined to stop Minato, and despite not being recovered becomes Iron Gotchard, leaving the others to fight Clotho as everyone tries to convince Minato to believe in them. A combo attack finishes Clotho, Rinne recovers GorillaSensei and Spanner BugLesia, as Iron Gotchard defeats Dread with a WarpTera enhanced Iron Knuckle. Minato seems to be about to be convinced for a second, but the memory of Suzuya and pain leads him to walk away. Clotho returns to Greyon with the DreadDriver, he declares Minato is no longer useful, telling Lachesis to eliminate him, as he prepared his greatest experiment yet.

Boomboomger: Deliveryman Taiya drives his red sports car to a church, where the son of the Aori family is (forcibly) marrying Mira, who looks unsure of herself. Taiya interrupts and absconds with the bride, Aori men in hot pursuit. His client is Mira's actual boyfriend, waiting to elope with her at the airport. She isn't unhappy, but prefers to take the wheel herself. Taiya is supported by Chassiro overlooking the situation, and the robot Boomboom, but the Aori pursuit is disrupted by a Yarucar ridden by two Hashiliens, Dekotread and Itahsar, the first to arrive on earth, a situation Boomboom and co have been waiting for. A drag race begins, and at Itahsar's request for the veil, Dekotread sets the Yarucar on them. Taiya converts his car into a black car equipped with a canon, and blasts them away, landing by converting back to red to make a hover landing, as they fly a man watches and compliments Taiya's skill. Taiya makes a stop, buys a whole clothing stores stock so Mira can change, and advises her to lose the dress ,but she refuses. Chassiro heads out as well. Mira emerges from changing to run into Itashar, who turns her dress into a monster, which torments the city, converting fear into fuel, a police officer is among the victims, as the Kurumaju rampages, Itashar summons Nejiraiders to assist. Mira cannot abandon the dress, a memento of her grandmother, and Taiya promises to recover it, with Boomboom assuring it will be saved if the Kurumaju is defeated. Taiya becomes BoomRed, and fights, while Chassiro grabs Mira to complete the delivery. En route, Mira decides she's not going to let anyone else make her choices anymore, and forcibly uses Chassiro's Boomboom Changer to activate SuperCar cannon mode and shoot them back to the battle. Telling Taiya she's going to fight, to Chassiro's annoyance, Taiya accepts her conviction and gives her her own Boomboom Changer, and as BoomRed, BoomBlue and BoomPink, Bakuage Sentai Boomboomger is born. Together they fight and defeat the forces. Yarucar, to his masters' surprise, suddenly goes wild, consuming all the fuel and rushing into an interdimensional highway. The Boomboomgers are in hot pursuit, as Boomboom launches the launches the Boomboom cars, before converting to Boomboom Trailer and following. Taiya boards Boomboom Trailer, Chassiro Boomboom Off-road and Mira Boomboom Wagon, and Boomboom properly introduces himself to Mira as Boomdario Boomderas. They chase Yarucar, evading it's attacks, and eventually drive it off the road, it spews up the fuel, which reforms into a giant Kurumaju, and next wears Yarucar it doesn't appear to remember what it did. In order to fight the Kurumaju, Boomboom Trailer converts to Gate Mode, and by driving through it Boomboom Off-road and Boomboom Wagon convert to Attack Mode, before attaching as arms to Boomboom Trailer once it stands up, forming Boomboom Robo. Chassiro is able to dismantle the Kurumaju's armour, and Mira trap it in a "Wedding Cake" before they destroy it, saving the citizenry. Later, Mira tells her boyfriend she isn't leaving with him and is going to be a Boomboomger, to his dismay, but Taiya is happy. He's made his delivery, even if the package has been rerouted.

The Sensei's final betrayal?

Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: We see Naomi become a Horror from her perspective, and she eats Marie, causing the crowd to flee, she then makes her performance before chasing people, interrupted by Mutsugi and Koyori, prompting her to become Gaera. In an effort to restrain her, the priests fight alongside Mutsugi's familiars, but she injures Koyori, leaving Mutsugi tending to her, but Zaruba senses the aura, prompting Ryuga and Souma to rush over there. To Mutsugi's shock, Gaera eats the familiars, her form shifting with each consumption, and snatched Koyori's brush and is able to use it. The AGORA Swordsmen arrive, and fights Gaera so Mutsugi and Koyori can escape. Souma and Ryuga meets the Priests, and Koyori gives the concerned Souma a warding tag, before the Knights join the battle, and Mutsugi erects a barrier. Ron takes a hit for Obi and is injured, and when Gaera attempts to kill the youngest knight, Igusu takes the blow. Dying as Souma and Ryuga arrive, Igusu beseeches them all to remember their duty and Souma to inherit Godou's will, before he is consumed, and some aspects of Gaera's form resemble HAGANE, enabling her to handle Igusu's Makaiken. Obi charges in anger only to lose his blade, Ryuga engaged Gaera, causing her to drop Koyori's Madou Brush and pick up Obi's Makaiken instead, as Souma rushes to Ron. The 3 Nameless Knights resolve to give Ryuga an opening, engaging Gaera, and Ryuga begins readying the Flashing Cut. When Gaera knocks Ron down he throws his sword, she dodges but Obi catches it, Souma uses the opening to strike, then throw his sword to Ron, using the 2 Knight's opening to place the Tag on Gaera, which burns her in fire. Ryuga unleashes the Flashing Cut, then summons GARO, and cuts Gaera down. She does revert to Naomi, who wants to know why, she just wanted to dance,but receives no answer, Ryuga merely sheathes his blade, and she dies. Mutsugi puts Koyori in a healing sleep, and Souma gives her her brush, and they place Igusu's sword as a grave marker, but with what's happened Mutsugi fears they have failed in their duty. Souma advocates heading to the Gate of Destruction as soon as possible, something an awakens Koyori concurs with. Despite their grief, Ron and Obi agree to come, and as everyone departs, Souma states a while as the grave. At the Memorial Stone, Souma, humbled, beseeches Ron and Obi to defend CREACITY in his place, and Ryuga places the Stone of Eternal Darkness, the opened gate immediately transports Ryuga, Koyori, Souma and Mutsugi into a square room within the Labyrinth ARIVIS. Mutsugi is impatient, but Ryuga is inspecting the glyph on the floor, only for Koyori to step on part and it glows, both Knights on instinct push her away, but are transported elsewhere, and Mutsugi hurries Koyori to move as well. Ryuga and Souma also wound up in different places, but Zaruba can sense Souma. Souma, frustrated by dead ends, attempts to cut a wall unsuccessfully, and is found by Ryuga, Zaruba now leading them to the Priests. Ryuga marks a wall with blood, but when they come back to it the walls are different, and a Glyph activated behind them, and the current paths both close.

New Generation Stars: Yuka is trying to focus on her own work, and recalls when STORAGE Cyber-security failed, and checks the records of Z and Geed battling Gilvalis. The Robot reveals Gilvalis' status as the Last Judgementer aiming to destroy all organic life, to Yuka's shock, and shows footage to Geed, Zero, Juggler, Orb and the Ultimate Force Zero battling Gilvalis and it's Galactron Army. Yuka seems stunned after watching, the robot thinking it's the horror of the knowledge of entities in the scale of Gilvalis, but she's actually just shocked to see how Juggler used to be. The robot decides to "overwrite" the knowledge with data on others who used Galactron, like Mulnau, and Fukuide Kei becoming King Galactron. Yuka resolves to make sure these threats can be faced, only to realise she has made no progress on her work and gets angry at the robot again.

Gotchard: As Dread and a Malgam have Valvarade and Madjade overwhelmed, Ichinose, now with a gold ring, interrupts, and calls on TenLiner. Going back, Minato present Greyon with WarpTera, who he had been seeking, caught thanks to UniCon, and Greyon gets a doll ready. The gang manage to convince Hotaro's mother that the groceries erased by new acquisition KesuZo hadn't been bought yet, so she goes for more. KesuZo rampaged after tough treatment from Range, and also erased the data Sabimaru, who had just made the AlchemisCharger for rings, had been collecting, so he has Ichinose relate everything. Kudoh informs Ichinose, the only one not to know, that Kamen Rider is the title the Daybreak Alchemist called himself 120 years ago, and there's a discussion of forbidden alchemy and it's effects after they get to Harima. Hopper1 and SteamLiner manage to corral KesuZo and Kudoh captures it, and they discuss how Minato has no turned from them and joined Greyon. As Greyon is still working, Minato asks more about the Abyssal Sisters. Greyon was incapacitated after his battle with Kudoh Fuga 10 years ago, while the Sisters found Fuga and finally created the DreadDriver, and the Association is unaware of his treachery and still holds Fuga as the criminal, and as he creates the Warp Malgam, Lachesis still wonders what Minato plans to do. Spanner and Kyouka arrive at Kitchen Ichinose to explain that Minato is acting, Kyouka guessing his behaviour is because of 10 years ago, and as if confirming the story a message from Minato arrives calling them to a certain former facility. When they arrive there and see Minato, the Warp Malgam attacks and knocks the Chemy Cards away from everyone but Spanner and Renge, then sucks them into portals, Ichinose is prepared to ignore warnings of the risk to rescue his friends, leading Hopper1 and SteamLiner to force him back, leaving SteamLiner the only one to escape. Greyon gloats to himself that he has power over Minato, having ensured his compliance by reminding him of Suzuki Daiki, the student he killed. Using SteamLiner and UniCon together, Minato becomes Dread Type:One, and with the Malgam fights Valvarad and Madjade. Kyouka leads the others away, and Ichinose begs for a way to fight with just SteamLiner to save his friends, not caring if it is forbidden Kyouka admits a technique exists to fuse human and Chemy, but refuses to say more, when a certain someone approaches. The Warp Malgam manages to make Madjade MoonCerberus and Valvarad OrochiShovel Custom attack eachother, making them lose almost all of their cards. Before more can happen, Ichinose arrives with the GotcharDriver, followed by a concerned Sabimaru, Renge and Kyouka. SteamLiner transmutes itself into TenLiner, which when placed in the GotcharDriver summons it's form which attached to the Driver,and is used to make Ichinose into Iron Gotchard.

Kingohger: With their people behind them, and their closest attendants at their sides, the Kings Declare themselves, their blades showing the power to kill immortals, and they engage Dugded. As the tech people continue working someone (implicitly Vedelia, but neither us nor he see the face) hands Kofuki a lollipop, which gives him the inspiration he he needs, applying the crystallised technology of the Shugod Souls to create a vessel. Kamejim attempts to disrupt their work, only to be thrown aside by SpiderKumonos, and then left to be dealt with by the two people the angriest with him, OhKuwagataOhger and Deathnarok VIII, channeling Tarantula Abyss' power, Deathnarok then drags Kamejim with him to Hakabaka, telling Abyss it isn't it's time yet, Kamejim finds himself reunited with Grodie in torment. The Kings threaten Dugded enough he decides to resort to universe scale. The prepared vessel of immortality is presented, but is empty, but thanks to Ryneol they already know what to do, and the retainers lead the people in lending their lives to create the power of eternal life, enabling the Ultimate God King-Ohger to emerge into Dugded's room to face him. Despite his power, the King's indomitable wills inspire their Shugod partners, who erupt in a blaze of fire and smash Dugded against the walls of his room, continuing to smash him as King-Ohger literally tears itself apart, the Kings accept their allies resolve on doing so and join them. Dugded is launched into a white void as the walls break, and King-Ohger totally crumbles. Dugded teleports back to the surface of Tikyu, the protective crystal shatters, and is immediately met by the kings who deliver a final blow, before returning to their people and celebrating. Gira takes a moment to mourn the Shugods, but Yanma reminds him that Kuwagon's soul remains inside him, and the other Shugods entrusted their soul to him, and promises he will restore their bodies. The Kings agree to a dissolution of borders and greater cooperation, through argue over the name, but we are the fruits of this immediately. Jeramie's narration tells us that the Kings are about to leave things in their retainers hands once more while they deal with an approaching threat, but assures is that if we are hearing the message, that means they have succeeded, and asks us all to ensure this story continues, as the Ohsama Sentai stands to meet the next threat.

I don't normally talk about the post series announcements in these posts, or at all as they're harder to really summarise. New Generation Ultraman traditionally has a post series movie that starts being advertised in the last 1/4 of the series, Rider has traditionally since at least Ex-aid advertised the first (now only) V-Cinext right after the finale, and and Sentai has been doing V-Cinext in one form or another (VS, Returns, them VS again) for about 30 years which since Kyoryuger have normally been announced a month of two before the finale. So while we've know about King-Ohger and it's dual specials for a while we have a little more information now, so let's look forward to the King's encounter with those 8 "heroes" from another world, and the reunion with all 11 Kyoryuger (Yayoi! Yayoi!)
