Hisahide in 4, versus 5. The improvement leaves no room for debate. I'm really happy with how they changed him, as he was probably the reason I stopped playing 4. (Cringe too overwhelming)

What stood out the most about SW5 when I started playing it with my better half is how much it reminded me of Kessen 3 (because of young/old Nobunaga!) and Geten (because of Mitsuki and Momochi!) While I think these references are almost certainly unintentional I was quite amused by them.

It's too bad that Mitsuki was incredibly poorly shoehorned into the game and we both found her very annoying @_@

I had a lot of doubts about SW5 considering how soulless Samurai Warriors 4 was (Compared to 3.) At the time I found the game so shocking I didn't even play most of it. There's a lot of stuff SW5 gets wrong, but overall it's great - and if you treat it as a "first attempt" it's really good.
