Ascidiacea is a filter feeder. They’re characterized by a tough outer “tunic” made of the polysaccharide cellulose. They’re found all across the world, mostly in shallow water. While they come in a variety of colours and patterns, these one were aptly named the “Skeleton Panda Sea Squirt,” by Dr. Michael Sweet, just in time for Halloween!
