i am having some real emotions about how xiang liu is always the person xiaoyao wants to go hang out with and confide in. even when she's a poor doctor and he's an enemy general, even when she's a princess and he's an enemy assassin playboy. even with the undercurrent of danger. even knowing they are enemies, they cannot stop revealing their deepest darkest secrets to each other that they tell no one. the description says they become confidantes and boy yes they do. this is why xiang liu is one of the most popular ships despite being doomed from the start as the 3ML - the sizzling sexual tension, the emotional conversations contrasted with the uncertainty of enemies-to-lovers. they see each other and understand each other, but they will not choose love above their own loyalties. as mature adults do, but god, the pain and the tragedy!!!

Pardon that it is text heavy. I had a difficult time cramming the plot points of Juuni Kokki and NiF (both are plot heavy stories) together.
I experimented alot for this one. I tried (tried) experimenting different style in drawing. (It was my first time inking in CSP instead of usual SAI. I was also experimenting putting decorations because the setting feels like I can try doing thatt. The combination and heavy text made it ends up a little bit crowded that I wanted it to be. But anyways, it ends up to be a fun experiment

Still in awe of the ad campaign from Tom Ford Beauty for the Chinese market that I posted about the other day. These people deserve all the awards.
For some brand / press event yesterday, GJ and ZZH got put into clothes (from Tom Ford the mother company, of course; that pink floral shirt retails for 510€ here in Europe **shudder**) that mirror their costumes from the show. Remember WKX's pink outfit with the leaf pattern? That's a modern take on it. Plus, ZZS' simpler blue and grey, mirrored by ZZH in the same colours, casual 2021 version.
Here's the original version -- same colour scheme, same respective attitude to fashion.
And the chibi / nendo version, for good measure.
This entire advertising campaign from Tom Ford Beauty with those two is genius, from a professional standpoint. Without saying one single explicit word, they build up the story that this one specific lippy is the colour of A-Xu and Lao Wen kissing, and we can have that on our own lips by buying the product.
Whoever threw that campaign together between February when WoH started to blow up, and now, deserves a Chinese Advertising Award if there is such a thing. Having worked in the advertising industry myself (and then dropped out with burnout, because that shit is CRAIZEEE!), I am in awe of what these people are doing here.
P.S.: The intern(s) from the ad agency tasked with reporting on social media reach to the customer after the campaign is considered concluded will go mental. They will have to compile hundreds of pages of screencaps, it will be repetitive and boring while needing extreme concentration, and includes posts from all over the world.
